The Brainwaves Method links ancient practices and the science of brainwaves, showing how we can harness them for emotional wellbeing and growth.

The premise is that our brainwaves serve specific functions like focus, relaxation, healing, creativity, connection, and awareness. Devane thoughtfully introduces each brainwave frequency, then offers two to three gentle and accessible methods for tapping into and “strengthening" the one you're looking to develop.

The book’s structure worked well for me: concept first, practice second. I am a huge fan of workbooks like this that strike a balance between insight and application, encouraging real self-help... not the dreaded "shelf-help". Since reading, I’ve integrated heart coherence breathing, binaural beats and Metta meditation into my routine. I've also returned to other practices, first learned through yoga but now understand more deeply thanks to Devane, like body scans, inner voice work, and PMR (progressive muscle relaxation).

If you want practical, science backed tools to work with your brainwaves and shape your inner world, this book is definitely worth your time!
