SHTF addictive
The series is seriously addictive reading. Tightly scripted and packed with accurate weapons/tactics/geography and well conceived scenarios leaves the reader hungry for the next book. Building off current events and players, these series take the reader on a roller coaster ride. Great read and highly recommended.

THE BEST BOOK YET!
Really good book that stars the Navy Seals! So creative with the plot and characters. Exemplary battle scenes! So much well written narrative. Please write the next one fast.

Great book and series
I really enjoyed the series more than I can say period looks forward so much to the next release. The writers are fantastic and have done so much research and so much background. Living in Eastern Tennessee it is so neat to see the area where we live describes so clearly in the books too.

Great Reading
As a transplanted Texan, I love the idea of making America FIRST. I have been reading this series and the sister series As The Light Dies and comparing these events to "Real Time" events that have happened over the past few years. It is refreshing reading, to say the least. I would recommend both series to EVERYONE who is interested in military history.

Amazing rescues, missions and battles! Some plot twists that left me feeling sad. Overall, great job! Looking forward to the next episode! I know it’s in book form, but it would make an awesome tv series.

This was an outstanding series. It kept me completely involved with every single book, from start to finish. An enjoyable read . I highly recommend it to anyone who likes the genre. A very good collaboration between two very good authors.
