Note: This is the fifth and final installment in the Arranged Games series. It features a morally grey billionaire and his sassy Publicist who goes toe to toe with him at every turn. Although it can be read as a standalone, it is recommended to read the series in order for better enjoyment and to avoid little spoilers.
I can finish 600–700 page books in less than 24 hours, and I have read every book in the Arranged Games series within 24 hours as well. However, this was really hard — it took me 2 days to finish. I love all the characters in the series, and I am having a hard time saying goodbye to them, especially when this fifth and final book was the saddest. Arya and Nathan were so broken. I had such a hard time with them both feeling that they wanted more than a casual hookup but believing they didn’t deserve love. Every book in this series has made me cry, but this one definitely made me cry the most. Nathan and Arya deserved better childhoods and better parents. As a parent, I couldn’t imagine treating my child the way their parents treated them. But seeing them heal each other’s broken hearts truly was so special. I couldn’t have thought of a more perfect ending for these amazing characters. I am so grateful to Simran for allowing me to be a part of her content team and allowing me to have an ARC of Fractured Games.
What an opening! Arya is a jilted bride, she was embarrassed by her spineless ex fiancé. And Nathan is licking his wounds after what happened with Iris. These two have a chance encounter while out one night and then again during lunch one day. And both times Nathan is Arya’s dark knight in shining armor. Nathan is a menace when he wants to be and Arya is a sweetie and doesn’t let him walk all over her. Their banter is top tier and the “tension” between them is hot! Nathan is a very dominant man and Arya loves it. Now I don’t give spoilers but I have to say this Aryan( the ex) has problems. He made our girl feel bad about receiving pleasure from his mouth. I mean he went as far as gargling his mouth out. In my mind what I pictured was Ian from Shameless scrubbing his mouth out after he did same thing. But for those who watched Ian was gay, so that tracked. Now I’m not saying Aryan is but you never know. Now Nathan he has no problem with and he very much showed it! These two are hot hot hot 🥵! The spice marvelous! Nathan is naassssstttyyy, I like it. These two don’t how to keep their hand to themselves. They have electrifying chemistry. They are truly meant for each other. They have such great banter it’s a joy to read. I also want to say both their parents suck. This the first time a Simran book has made me cry. They all invoked emotion from me but this one legit brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful. Darn you Nathan for making me not like you when you are the sweetest person ever. Arya is an amazing woman and deserves all the love and happiness( I always liked her even with what went Bianca, IYKYK). Fractured Games was everything and more.
I really loved this book. I’ve read the other books in the series, and in those I really didn’t like Nathan. I really wanted to understand him and his actions better.
At the beginning of this book, I was afraid I wouldn’t like him here either, the push and pull between him and Arya was, at times, almost unbearable. However, as the story progressed, we got to see more of who he is and the reasoning behind his actions. By the end of the book, everything made sense. While I still didn’t approve of his past actions, I could finally understand why he did what he did. And at last, we were able to see the lovable Nathan. I loved Arya, she transformed from a broken girl to a strong woman, they really were great together! Their HEA felt so well deserved!
I loved the character development, the plot twists, the writing style of Simran and the storyline. The spice was really spicy! I loved how all the loose ends came together at the end of the book, and it truly felt like the story was complete. Just the best ending of an amazing series!
Delivered that push-and-pull dynamic perfectly. The trauma, the way they truly see each other, and how they protect one another, that’s where the real beauty lies. Painful, tender, and deeply emotional, their connection felt raw and earned, making the story hit even harder.
Arya has followed the rules all her life. Perfect daughter. Perfect fiancée. Perfect girl who never steps out of line. The one time she doesn’t… she loses her sister. And when her fiancé leaves her at the altar, she isn’t just heartbroken — she’s publicly humiliated, and quietly discarded by parents who care more about reputation than their daughter’s pain.
After months of hiding and barely surviving her heartbreak, one reckless night out changes everything. A stranger saves her when she needs it most. She thinks she’ll never see him again. Except… she keeps running into him.
Always when her world is falling apart.
What starts as one night with strict rules turns into something she can’t forget — even when it ends in a way that makes her regret trusting him at other. Months later, fate traps them together again — this time professionally. And the emotional mess they never resolved? Still very much alive.
This isn’t a gentle love story. It’s two people trying to survive their own damage.
Arya wants to be loved so badly that she keeps moulding herself into whatever everyone else needs — especially her parents. She carries guilt for mistakes from her past and quietly believes that some of the pain in her life is karma finally catching up with her. She is soft, emotionally open, and painfully selfless… in a world that keeps punishing her for it.
Nathan is not the hero of anyone’s story. Publicly, he’s polished and untouchable. Privately, he’s a man who believes closeness only leads to destruction. The only person he ever loved without fear was his brother. Losing that bond — and growing up under a father who turned love into control — left him with deep abandonment scars and one devastating belief:
He is not afraid of love. He is unworthy of it. And that is what makes Nathan hurt in the quietest, most brutal way.
Fractured Games is not about grand gestures or fast healing. It’s about emotional resistance.
It's not a fall-in-love story. It’s a collide–pull away–set rules–break them–pretend it’s only physical (it’s not) kind of story.
Nathan plays hot and cold — but his actions constantly betray how deeply he feels, making it almost impossible for Arya to walk away, even when she knows she probably should.
What really stood out to me is how carefully Simran writes emotional boundaries. No one suddenly becomes brave. No one magically trusts. No one forgets their trauma just because the chemistry is intense.
Nathan’s internal conflict — wanting Arya while believing he will eventually destroy her — is written with so much emotional depth. His darkness is never romanticised. It’s painful, quiet, and rooted in childhood trauma.
Arya’s growth is just as powerful — learning to recognise the red flags she once ignored, and learning that love should never come at the cost of her own worth.
This is the only book I’ve read in this series —and I was honestly shocked by how emotionally connected I felt to both of them. I genuinely had tears in my eyes more than once.
The story delivers heartbreak, anger, softness, humour, desire and healing — without ever making the emotional journey feel rushed. The spice is intense, but it never replaces the emotional core. It deepens it.
This book gave me every feeling.
And yes— this is absolutely an emotionally wrecked but worth it read. I loved this. I loved Arya and Nathan. And I'm genuinely glad they found their way back to themselves — and to each other.
Fractured Games further cements Simran as one of my favorite new authors. Late last year, I read The Invite and wondered where she’d been my whole life. Now, Fractured Games grabbed me fast—the kind of fast where you glance up, realize hours have disappeared, and you’re somehow still only about a third of the way through. (Which says a lot, because I’m a fast reader.) I was completely locked in from start to finish.
Arya and Nathan are both beautifully fractured characters, and what worked so well for me is how earned their emotional journey felt. Arya is coming off public humiliation and private heartbreak, and you feel every layer of her exhaustion—the pressure to be perfect, the quiet guilt she carries, and the way she’s learned to shrink herself to survive. She’s soft but not weak and sharp without being cruel. But she’s also incredibly easy to root for.
Nathan, meanwhile, is one of those morally grey heroes who actually deserves the label. He’s controlled, broody, and emotionally walled off, but Simran takes the time to unpack why. His self-loathing, his fear of attachment, and his belief that he’s fundamentally unworthy of love are woven into the story in a way that is painful and real, not performative. Watching those walls crack was deeply satisfying.
Their dynamic is where this book really shines. The banter is sharp, the chemistry is intense, and the push–pull between them never feels repetitive. What starts as physical quickly turns messy and emotional, and I loved that the story doesn’t rush the healing or pretend that desire alone fixes everything. These are two people who have to confront their damage before they can truly choose each other. And the payoff is sooo worth it!
The plot kept me engaged the entire time, balancing emotional depth with strong pacing and just enough tension to keep me turning pages. Simran’s prose is smooth and immersive, and she has a real talent for sitting in emotional moments without overexplaining them.
As a series finale, Fractured Games delivers closure while still packing a punch. Although I haven’t read the previous books, this installment hit hard enough that it immediately made me want to go back and read the entire series. It’s emotional, angsty, and ultimately very satisfying. Think the kind of ending that makes saying goodbye difficult, but feels right.
Final verdict: This one hit hard in all the best ways. A compelling, emotionally layered romance that reminded me exactly why I keep coming back to Simran’s books.
Rating: 4.5⭐ Spice: 3.5🌶️ ( The spice isn’t constant or over-the-top, but when it does show up, it’s intentional, emotionally charged, and impactful, not filler. It enhances the connection instead of replacing it.)

Arya has followed the rules all her life, the one time she stepped out of the expectations of perfection placed on her, she ended up losing her relationship with her sister. When her fiance leaves her at the altar, she is humiliated both in the eyes of the public, and by her parents, who treat her like an embarassment. After months of hiding out, trying to mend her broken heart, her friends drag her out to the club, only for her to find herself at the mercy of a man refusing to take no for answer. When she is saved by a handsome man who carries her to safety, she assumes she will never see him again, only to run into him every time she finds herself in a situation where she needs saving. Choosing to give herself to him for one night, she agrees to no strings, vowing to go their separate ways, but his treatment of her when it’s over makes her regret ever giving him a second glance. Months later, her boss calls her to a meeting with a new client, and she finds herself face to face with the man who has haunted her thoughts for weeks, forced to act as his publicist.
Nathan is not the hero of anyone’s story. While the public may see him as a perfect gentleman, he has destroyed everyone who attempted to get close to him. When news gets out that his previous engagement was fake, he needs help redeeming his image, and is forced to hire a publicist. The last person he expected to see was Arya, the woman who makes him feel too much. When she looks at him with disdain and refuses to work with him, he knows he can’t let her walk away again. Although he knows that he will destroy her if she gets too close, he can’t seem to stay away, and is determined that he will never let her see the darkness he keeps within.
I received an early copy of this book from the author and Valentine PR and I was definitely not ready for this rollercoaster ride. Having read the previous books in the series recently, Arya and Nathan were definitely not my favourite characters, and I honestly wasn’t sure whether or not Nathan even deserved a redemption story, but this book was everything I didn’t even know I needed. While we saw a glimpse of his true feelings at the end of Illicit Games, I wasn’t expecting the depth of his inner darkness. It becomes quite clear that although he puts on a steady front, inside he’s still reliving the trauma he suffered as a boy, and truly believes he is not worthy of anything good. On her side, Arya thought she had everything she had ever wanted, but after her world came crashing down, she starts to see all the red flags her in her previous relationships. And while Nathan constantly plays hot and cold, his actions reveal his true feelings, making her unwilling to walk away. Their broken pieces somehow fit together perfectly, making them my favourite out of all the Games couples.
Arya has spent her entire life doing exactly what was expected of her. Obedient daughter. Immaculate fiancée. The kind of woman who learns early that love is conditional on perfection. The moment she steps outside that narrow line, everything unravels. Her relationship with her sister fractures. Her fiancé abandons her at the altar. And instead of comfort, she’s met with disappointment and shame from parents more concerned with appearances than their daughter’s devastation.
She disappears for a while after that — not dramatically, but quietly. Existing rather than living. Until one night, when her friends force her back into the world, and she finds herself cornered, scared, and unheard. A stranger intervenes. He saves her. Carries her out of danger. And she assumes that’s where the story ends.
It doesn’t.
She keeps crossing paths with him — always when she’s vulnerable, always when she needs someone to step in. What’s supposed to be a single, rule-bound night becomes something that lingers far longer than either of them intended. And when it ends, the way he pulls away cuts deeper than she’s prepared for. She tells herself it was a mistake she won’t repeat.
Until months later, when her job forces her into a room with him again. This time, he isn’t just the man who occupies her thoughts — he’s her client. And she’s expected to help rebuild the image of the very person who broke something inside her.
Nathan doesn’t pretend to be a saviour. The world sees a composed, charming man with an impeccable reputation, but that image is a carefully maintained illusion. Anyone who has ever tried to get close to him has been damaged in the process. When the truth about his previous engagement comes out, he’s pushed into hiring a publicist to clean up the mess.
He never expects that publicist to be Arya.
She looks at him without warmth. Without forgiveness. And when she tries to walk away, he realises too late that he can’t let her go again — even though he’s convinced that if she stays, he’ll ruin her. Nathan doesn’t believe he’s incapable of love. He believes he doesn’t deserve it. That conviction was carved into him by loss, by control, by a childhood where affection was something that could be taken away at any moment.
This story doesn’t rush healing or soften trauma for convenience. It lives in hesitation. In boundaries that are tested, crossed,
I have been waiting for this one! Fractured Games by Simran is the final book in the Arranged Games series. Nathan is here! If you love a book with every real, raw and vulnerable emotion, read this book! It will take you on a beautiful rollercoaster ride of tragedy, healing and beautiful love!
Nathan and Arya. We have seen them throughout the last four books but we finally get to truly dive deep into who they both are and why. They are both carrying wounds that never fully healed—betrayal that cut too deep, heartbreak that reshaped who they became, and years of being told they should expect less from love and life. Arya was humiliated and abandoned at the altar, blamed instead of comforted, and slowly pushed into the shadows of her own world. Nathan is a billionaire marked by loss, living under the weight of guilt, certain he’s the villain no one stays for. Ugh, these two will break your heart so beautifully! You feel their pain and grief so soul deep! When fate slams them together, they SEE EACH OTHER. What begins as a single moment of rescue spirals into a connection that is so raw, consuming, and impossible to escape. He’s protective, obsessive and no matter how hard he fights it, she is just too much of a temptation to turn away. Trust me, they both try! She tries to help as his publicist and falls in the midst. Their connection and chemistry, it is EXPLOSIVE!!! Pure fire!
Bring in all our friends from the past books and a few new ones which add so much to the whole story.
Grab the tissues! What truly makes this story cut so deep is Nathan’s pain. This strong man who “seems” to have it all carries a self-loathing, numbing his demons with alcohol and convinced he’s undeserving of love or redemption. But Arya sees past the scar and refuses to look away. Through her, he’s slowly loved back to life, one fragile moment at a time. And in turn he loves her to the depths of her soul. Simran, you wrote a beautiful ending to a FANTASTIC series! You MUST read all these books!

Fractured Games by Simran is a fiery and emotionally charged conclusion to the Arranged Games series, delivering everything readers have been building toward with intensity, angst, and hard-won love. As the final installment, it raises the stakes both emotionally and professionally, tying together themes of reputation, power, and vulnerability in a way that feels satisfying and earned.
Arya is a heroine you instantly root for. After public humiliation and heartbreak, her journey is one of reclaiming control, self-respect, and strength. She is sharp, resilient, and refuses to be diminished, even when faced with a man who is used to dominating every room he walks into. Her chemistry with Nathan is explosive from the first encounter, and their dynamic thrives on banter, tension, and emotional push and pull.
Nathan is the definition of a morally grey billionaire done right. Beneath the polished public image is a deeply fractured man who believes he is undeserving of love. His internal conflict adds depth to the story, making his mistakes feel real and his redemption meaningful. Watching his carefully constructed world unravel as Arya challenges him at every turn is one of the most compelling aspects of the book.
The billionaire x publicist setup adds a delicious layer of forced proximity and power struggle, especially as their past collides with their professional present. The fast burn romance is intense, the secret hookups are addictive, and the misunderstandings fuel the emotional tension without feeling repetitive. What truly stands out is how the story balances heat with heart, showing two broken people learning to trust not just each other but themselves.
As a series finale, Fractured Games delivers closure while still packing an emotional punch. It celebrates growth, accountability, and the courage it takes to choose love even when you believe you are unworthy of it. A strong, addictive ending to the Arranged Games series that will leave romance readers satisfied and a little breathless.
This is the final book in the Arranged Games series, and it left me feeling both completely wrecked and healed at the same time.
@_authorsimrann delivers a painfully beautiful depiction of Indian society as I know it all too well, one where superficial standards and rigid expectations are placed on people simply because of the constant question of “what will society think or say.” That pressure hums beneath every interaction in this story, shaping choices, fears, and the weight the characters carry long after the damage is done.
At the heart of this book are two deeply scarred individuals. A jilted bride who has already been humiliated by love, and a billionaire whose name is stained by a steamy public scandal that does nothing to work in his favour. Both are forced to navigate life after everything they thought was secure has been ripped away. Fate, however, has its own plans. In bringing them together, it quietly allows them to save each other’s lives, long before either of them realises what the other truly means.
This quote from the book perfectly encapsulates Nathan Singhania. He is a man constantly battling himself, torn between desire, guilt, fear, and self destruction. Watching him unravel and slowly rebuild is one of the most compelling parts of this story.
Thankfully, Arya Chopra stands as a refreshing and powerful female lead. She refuses to bend over backwards or make herself a fool for a man ever again. Very much a “fool me once” kind of woman, she challenges Nathan at every turn and forces him to pull his socks up rather than saving him at the expense of herself.
Throughout the book, we are shown to heart warming moments that have you wondering, “when is it my turn,”🤭 alongside spicy scenes that leave you thinking, “can I be next.”😈
Trigger warnings include: serial assault alcoholism suicidal thoughts
Fractured Games by Simran is an emotional, scorching, and deeply vulnerable finale that proves love can bloom even in the darkest corners of guilt and grief.
Nathan and Arya are both broken, scarred by betrayal, heartbreak, and the lies they’ve been told about what they deserve. She was left at the altar, blamed by her parents, and shut away from the world. He’s a billionaire haunted by loss, convinced he’s the villain in everyone’s story. When their paths collide (quite literally) he saves her from a creep at a bar, and from that moment, their lives become dangerously tangled.
Their chemistry is instant and explosive. He calls her “angel” and “little minx,” praises her with growled “good girl”, and ruins her with filthy tenderness. From a one-night stand in a bathroom (while her ex is in the next stall 👀) to a brutal “no attachments” agreement, they fight their connection as much as they crave it. But Nathan’s protective, possessive nature shines through — when someone hurts her, he doesn’t hesitate to make them pay.
What truly makes this book hit hard is Nathan’s pain. He hates himself, drowns his demons in alcohol, and doesn’t believe he’s worthy of love. Yet Arya sees the man beneath the scars, literally and emotionally and loves him back to life. When he finally says, “You’re mine to protect, pamper, fck, spoil, and love,” it’s both a vow and a release.
With its perfect mix of spice, heartbreak, and healing, Fractured Games is a stunning conclusion — dark, tender, and unforgettable.
This book is a slow-burn dark romance, and as its title suggests, there is a gradual development of the relationship between Nathan and Arya. Nathan's change is not instantaneous but follows a series of subtle shifts; originally cold and controlling, he becomes protective and then chooses to do things for her instead of forcing his actions on her. Arya who is still a kind and navie. Who finds good in other and keep things at bay her subtle rebellion plays a big part. This books shows that how absence of parents love and affection turn their children into a total different kind of person and I don’t think they deserved this specially after wht arya tha gone through she faced such a big heart break at the altar it was not something which one can forget no mattwr how old the scars are of the past and nathan lost his hope of light his brother because of his father still both the brothers found their way to reach other they deserved to be loved after facing the rejection from your parents and then Iris left him it was really hard for him but He still when through it and find comfort and love in arya where they both healed each other’s heart and make themselves realise that they are worthy of love the way how arya try to understand him and Nathan start taking care of her instead of controlling her actions it was very touching however, is the absence of instant redemption, as the romance focuses on tension, power imbalance, and emotional conflict before there is even a possibility of trust. Dark romances with complex developments involving the characters are a must-read.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephaine's Book Reports.
This is the story of Ariya and Nathan. It is also the conclusion to the Arranged Games Series. If you love a heroine that has to overcome and build her life back, then you are going to love Ariya. She has been publicly humiliated and heartbroken. Now is the time for her to regain her self-worth and find strength in that. Now she is facing a man who is used to being the dominating force in every room he is in. The man is Nathan and he is a powerhouse of a man. The connection that they have is explosive and dripping off the pages of this book. It is electric and you are going to love it. They have some serious banter and this emotional push that just captures your attention, and you can't stop reading this book. I love a good morally gray man and Nathan is the very definition of a morally gray man. However, he is really great at hiding the man who really feels like he is not worthy of being loved. I loved that Arya challenged him every chance she got. This is a book that you don't want to miss. You are going to love every second of it.
Honestly this book gave me everything, every emotion, every feel and i can certainly say this book will by far be in my top 5 of 2026. What else do you need you get a story that makes you go through a roller coaster, it is not often you find these types of reads not only you got sadness, pain, heartbreak, anger and downright madness you also get the best things love, happiness, funny, enjoyable. I fell in love with the both the MMC and the FMC like both of their stories heartbreaking and yet so beautiful like Phoenixes rising from their ashes and I wouldn’t want it any other way. This your sign that you should read this book but if you need more convincing i will give you that by simply adding a few quotes to convince you. This book honestly when you give it a chance wont put you down the same way i couldn’t put it down .
“I need to know,” “Know what?” “ What you taste like.”
“Don’t you ever turn your back to me and run away because i will chase you every single time.”
And a lot lot more but I don’t want to give you the best ones so read it and trust me it is amazing. 5 stars……
Thank You Simran and thank you BookFunnel for the ARC of Fractured Games.

I just want to start of saying, I did not like Nathan at all in the previous books and I was really going in thinking I‘ll change my mind. Unfortunately that was not the case.
Nathan was pissing me off the whole book, with the whole push-and-pull. It was tiring to read. It did start to get good after he pulled his head out of his ass and became a bit likeable and redeemed himself.
Arya was just a plain doormat, with no self respect and just looking for the first dick she could find. The way she was so desperate for Nathan and his dick was just tiring to read. I get that you could be attracted to someone but does not mean that that attraction makes you forget about moral and principals and how to act in front of someone all together. She was just unlikable, sorry.
I was provided with an advance copy of this book by the author for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
We meet Nathan and Arya in previous books in this series but they definitely weren’t loved characters. But boy did they get their redemption in this story!
Nathan and Arya meet one night where he saves her from a situation and they keep running into each other where he’s saving her. Arya definitely wants to pursue him but she’s coming out of a long term relationship gone bad so she’s nervous to open herself back up. They find themselves meeting in a very different circumstance in a boardroom where he just hired Arya for his PR. Tension is high but they agree to a no strings attached arrangement. Nathan has a lot of internal demons he’s fighting and doesn’t want to drag Arya down with him.
But hey we know the only way to put a pep in a stubborn guys step is for him to see you with another man 😏
I love this series and am glad these two got their redemption story!
Fractured Games showcases genuinely solid writing — the prose is smooth, the emotional beats are easy to sink into, and the chemistry between the leads is the strongest element of the story. Simran handles attraction, tension, and those intimate moments with skill, creating a flow that keeps you turning the pages.
Where the book stumbles is the plot itself. Certain story choices feel unexpected or slightly out of place, almost as if the narrative is trying to fit several tropes at once. Some twists don’t fully align with the characters’ established arcs, making the overall progression feel a bit strange or uneven at times.
That said, it’s still an enjoyable, engaging read with memorable moments and heartfelt writing. Readers who love high-emotion romance, dramatic tension, and character-driven storytelling will find plenty to appreciate here.
arc review thank you valentine for providing me with this arc
Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. This book was so filled with emotions.
I am so in love with this book!! like I can't express how much in love with this book I am right now. I just finished reading it and omg!!
The emotions i felt while reading this book??? I don't even remember how many times I cried reading it. It was a lot. Like Nathan Omgg Nathan!!!
The fractured in the title??? Yeah that's what Nathan and Arya are Fractured. Two Fractured Souls healing each other. The way this book is so well written. Likeee Nathan and Arya are everything. Like EVERYTHING. I love them so much!!
It's been a while since I read a book that made me feel so much!! It was just so good. Oohhh and the plot??? the plot twists??? I was like what??? Why??? How??? This book has me at every chapter. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up!!!
Trust me pick this book up. You'll thank me. I promise!!
This book ruined me in the BEST way. I did not even cry I SOBBED.
Honestly I did not realise the depth of their stories and of their emotions, thoughts and feelings until I read this book.
I remember being first introduced to Arya in like chapter 1-2 of scandalous games and shes just seems like this irresponsible younger sister who is forcing her oldest sister to settle down but oh how wrong I was. I am sorry my Arya :((
And Nathan? Well, I have always loved him until iris and Kian's story were he was almost the villian but then he kind of redeemed himself a bit (only A BIT). I remember my jaw DROPPING when I finished illicit games and found out that this book is Nathan's story. And Nathan, my man. I LOVE YOU. KIAN IS STILL NUMBER 1 BUT YOU ARE STILL UNIQUE AND DEFO MY NUMBER 2.
Overall, this book was a refresher for me and I was excited to see things from their perspectives, especially Nathan's!
Fabulous read that literally has it all! It's a billionaire romance, its got its share of scandals, the family drama is off the charts, Nathan and Arya have amazing chemistry, and the emotional pull of this read hits so hard towards the end.
I love the tiny touch of dark in the way Nathan dominates Arya at first and he is so perfect at possessive and mine. These two definitely bring out the best in each other as their relationship progresses, it's super cute the way they're both falling but Nathan admits it and embraces it so wholeheartedly with a dash of humor first, how far both their parents are willing to go to force them to be exactly what they want has your blood boiling, and the healing that happens for basically everyone, except the crappy parents, towards the end, twists included, is cathartic and heartwarming. A great read that keeps you thoroughly entertained and completely absorbed through the whole thing.
Arya and Nathan story was good! Simran writing was amazing and very fast paced i read the whole book in just a couple of hours, the details, the emotion the plot and the spice omg the spice was so hot! Fractured games was a roller coaster of emotions trust me you're gonna feel a lot of them reading this book, happiness, sadness, anger, love are gonna hold your hands down to the very last page. I loved Arya immediately she's sharp, smart, resilient and I loved the growth that she had. So I have mixed feelings about Nathan I genuinely don't understand if I like him or not he just annoyed me almost the entire time and i know that he's a complex character but I feel that the whole push and pull was just to much for me Besides that i really enjoyed this reading Can't wait to read more about this author!
This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series, and this is Arya and Nathan’s story. Arja has been a good girl her entire life, and she was not prepared to be jilted at the altar in public, and becoming a laughingstock, which has her going into hiding for months, while Nathan is broken, and powerful. Arya recognises a kindred spirit when she looks into Nathan’s eyes, but can they heal each other? This is a well written fast paced, emotionally charged story, with heartbreak, tension, survival, conflict, secrets, good girl / bad boy, enemies / lovers, opposites attract, healing, trust, humour, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, dark romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
After reading Illicit Games, I couldn’t wait to see how Nathan redeemed himself and I was not disappointed. He is morally grey and dang, is he so dirty in the best way! And when it comes to Arya, these two can’t keep their hands off each other.
This book delved so much into Nathan and the reasons behind his actions. I was not ready for the emotions that spilled from the pages. Because again, at the end of Illicit Games, who knew this man could be redeemed. Seeing the side of Nathan that is easy to love, no words can explain. And the transform of Arya from a broken woman to this strong, fierce woman was everything.
The push and pulled between Arya and Nathan is great, the chemistry is electric and the banter is to die for.
Nathan and Arya have the prefect enemies to lovers vibes. But at the same time a great meet cute. He’s her knight in shining armor not once or twice but 3 times. They decide to bang it out on the 3rd time to get the chemistry out of their system. It fails. But then they meet again when he has a scandal and needs his image fixed and she is hired as his publicist without either of them knowing.
The dynamics of this relationship are fire!!! The sexual tension is amazing. The spice is very much spicing.
He totally falls first just doesn’t admit it. He’s scared to.
I gave it 4/5 because it took me 200 pages to really get invested into it.
ARC REVIEW Having loved the author’s previous books, I went into Fractured Games with high expectations—and it delivered the same emotional intensity while pushing the romance into darker, more addictive territory. Her signature style of flawed characters, slow-burning tension, and emotionally charged power dynamics is very much present here The romance is edgy, emotionally messy, and deeply compelling. As a long-time reader of this author, I loved seeing how her writing has grown more confident and bold while still staying true to what made me fall in love with her stories in the first place. If you’ve enjoyed her earlier books, Fractured Games will absolutely work its way under your skin—and stay there
Grab your tissues when you pick up this book! I don’t know if I’m just more sensitive now or what but I swear I had tears in my eyes the entire time, whether it was happy or sad. I do think the plot was a little thin compared to the spice. The plot still flowed and ended well, I didn’t see some things coming but others I was oh yaaaa I knew that. honestly the spice was really *chefs kiss* so it was evened out.
Fractured Games by Simran, comes out January 12th!
“Don’t ever run from me.” “Why?” “Because I’m used to you running to me.”
I really love and enjoy that the two MC’s is the villains in other people’s stories but when you get under the surface you see that everything is not black and white. So when you don’t know the whole story it’s much easier to paint them as the villain. Arya and Nathan’s story is really well written, it takes you on an emotional journey that will break your heart and make you feel every emotion through the book. This I another amazing book and I can only say, that if you haven’t read this series then this is your sign to start now.
