Roxy Rich writes psychological thrillers that will mess with your head, in the best possible way. Loosely based on true events (because real life is often more twisted than fiction), her stories take a deep dive into social injustices, especially those faced by women. Expect grit, heart, and the kind of realism that makes you wonder just how close to the truth she’s really getting.
While most of her work explores the raw and often brutal realities of human behaviour, Roxy occasionally veers off into darkly sarcastic tales about serial killers. You know, for balance.
She lives in the wilds of Somerset where she home educates her kids, writes brutally honest fiction, and dreams of salt water and gills, because she’s pretty sure she was a mermaid in a past life. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her swimming, chasing sea breezes, or side-eyeing society's hypocrisy like it just spilled red wine on her white carpet.
If you like your thrillers bold, smart, and laced with a wicked edge of truth, Roxy Rich is your next favourite author. Dive in, just don’t expect to come up for air anytime soon.
Literally just finished this at 12:58am and I legit almost have no words....🤯 Then for the last sentence of the book to say, 'To be continued.' 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I don't cuss but WHAT IN THE HELLO KITTY?!?! Ma'am.
Yall. The ride that this was. Whew. Talk about intense! The triggers are HEAVY with this one. I mean HEAVY HEAVY. She gives the warning in the beginning of the book of what it includes (she legit states, 'Please do not read if you have a delicate constitution.' Basically TREAD LIGHTLY! Move forward at your discretion).
I'm scared to say if I'm ready for the next one because if it continues from this one, the MC is going to make sure that someone gets got!
Let me take my tail to bed. I knew that I should've stopped reading! Let me stop lying; I was TOO close to the end to stop. MAN THAT WAS WHEW (Yes, I'm screaming lol) 😱
Addicted is the fourth book in the working girl series. And yet again Roxy Rich has knocked a well written novel with an emotional intense novel about the world of drugs and abuse. One cant help but feel nina's pain as shes being captured by the Butcher. And abused by him and his men til all nina wanted to do was die. Roxy gives an in depth account of how the drug world works. My heart broke for nina. Once youve read this novel you'll need a bath and counciling if you know anyone whos been through the drug world on the receiving end. But don't get me wrong this novel is well worth the read. And the plot and characters are very well written. Id love to see roxy series on the big screen.
I…. Have no words lol. Wow, what a rollercoaster 😅. What started out as an adventure, tasting freedom and meeting new people, went sideways veryyyyyy quickly for our poor Nina. She must endure things that most people couldn’t begin to grasp. This is a very dark read but it’s so enticing that you’ll just have to keep reading once you start. I’ve finished the book 2 days ago and I still think about it regularly it really made an impact on me. 5 star read no doubt!
