RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SPICE: 🌶️.5
CW: death of a parent (past), terminal illness (past)
TROPES: billionaire & middle class, single dad, workplace

So glad I was welcomed into the ARC team for this one! Listen, I'm very easy to please with romance books. I used to be a Wattpad reader and writer and this gave me such nostalgic vibes. Is it perfect? No, of course not! But there was fluff, serious topics, and some very mild spice which is good enough for me.

SYNPOSIS
Rose has her whole future planned out--marry rich and someone with a prestigious family. She's destined to be the COO of AWP and obviously needs to marry someone to fit in with her life. Her best friend, Junie, tells her to join a dating app for elite members of society to get her mom from trying to set her up with countless people and her chesting ex. But uh oh, Rose downloaded the wrong app!

CHARACTERS

The characters were likeable except Malcolm. He's a creep and needs to find someone else to be a pest to. Cynthia did bug me a bit but she came around.

SPICE
The spice was admittedly not my favourite but it was a good change from the recent romances I've been reading. It was more sweet and definitely not as descriptive as I'm used to.

OVERALL
I'm excited for George and Junie's book. The writing definitely has room for improvement but all writing can really!

Thank you to the author, Anna Lenore, for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

When I first saw the ARC sign-up for this book it had me at single dad and dating app. I met my husband on a dating website several years ago (not an app, because we are THAT old). He was a widowed single dad, so this story really called to me.

The banter was perfect. I was rooting for Rose and Nate, but I also found myself highlighting the interactions between George and Junie. Those two definitely need to get their own story.

This is my first book by Anna Lenore, but as soon as I finished it I started looking for her other books. I immediately started reading The Promise and I am already hooked.

Available March 25, 2025 on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited! I highly recommend getting this added to your TBR to read on Kindle Unlimited or getting it preordered on Amazon.

Full disclosure: I recieved an ARC copy for a review. Thankful for being selected to recieve a copy. This review may have spoilers. You've been warned.

Blindly yours explores falling in love with the person instead of the manipulated personas we portray and social restrictions placed on us by family and society.

Midwestern city girl, Rose Astor, raised in an upper-class wealthy family mistakenly signs up for a dating app, Blindly, which hides the identity of its users. Rose, trying move on from a previous relationship with upper-class clingy cheater Malcom, finds herself falling into an online friendship with user BigSpoon92, only to discover, unexpectedly, that her new friend was actually her grumpy working class building manager, Nate. Once their personas are revealed, follow Rose and Nate as they deal with the surprises revealed about Nate's relationship history, navigate Rose's family expectations, Malcom's interference, and determine if their relationship can work inspite of the societal expectations placed on them.

Thank you, Anna Lenore, for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book had me hooked right from the start. Rose and Nate are such a perfect match, and their dynamic had me mentally kicking my feet in excitement the whole time. I especially enjoyed the concept of the Blindly app and loved reading their text exchanges—I’ve always been a fan of books that include texts, and this one did it brilliantly.

I also appreciated the exploration of the rich vs. poor dynamic, particularly how Rose struggled with her luxurious life compared to the simpler life that Nate offered.

I’m so excited for the next book! I absolutely love this cast of characters.

This was my first opportunity to read an ARC (Thank you Anna Lenore) and Blindly Yours did not disappoint! A quick, easy read with a sweet and engaging romance, this story pulled me in from the start. The dating app premise was fun, and the chemistry between the main characters felt natural and charming. I loved the lighthearted yet heartfelt moments throughout. Like many others, I’m already excited for George (the brother) and Junie’s (the best friend) story—can’t wait to see what’s next in this series!

This was so cute! I wasn't sure what to Expect when I started this book the premise was intriguing but I wasn't sure how it would go but I love the every second of it!.

Nate and Rose are on two opposite side of life, literally she's from a very rich snobby family and hes a middle class widow with a adorable daughter it's not the type of relationship you would think would ever work but it does.

They were really great together I can't wait to read about roses brother next!

I’m so glad I was picked to be an ARC reader for this book! I have never been an ARC reader before, and it’s safe to say that this was such a good book to start that journey with.

A blind dating app (seriously, you don’t even see pictures of the people you match with) collides two people from totally different ways of life together. Rose is wealthy and seems to have it all. Nate has a seemingly rough exterior and lives a more quaint lifestyle. However, he is ready to open up his heart to someone new after a long time of mourning. All I can say is I’m so happy Rose downloaded the wrong dating app!

The spice was more mild and scarce than many of the other books I have read lately, but the plot was so upbeat and enjoyable — I hardly cared! You could feel how much Nate and Rose cared for each other as you read. As for other characters, the author did a great job of really making you really like certain people while feeling like you needed to hate others (Malcom, I can’t stand you)!

Overall, the book kept me intrigued to the very end. It was a quick-paced read that I definitely recommend, especially if you’re currently in a reading slump that you want to get out of!

This is a super sweet story with an MMC that’s so lovable. Rose annoyed me a little in the beginning but she grew on me by the end of the book. Nate was just great from the start and I really felt for him when we learned what he’d been through.

The spice was more sweet and slow than anything too descriptive.

Overall the writing was decent and I did enjoy the book.

Blindly Yours was a fun and great read. I loved Nate's character so much. He was so strong and supportive plus an amazing dad to Kara. She showed Rose she was worthy of love and not just a pawn to better her family's worth.

First I want to start off by saying that I’m so thankful to get to be an ARC reader for this book and get to read it before it gets released to the general public. This is my first ARC read and I can honestly say I think this was the perfect first book to get to be apart of as an ARC reader. This book got me hooked so fast and got me out of a slight reading slump because I didn’t want to put this down! There were so many times where I couldn’t help but grin as I read this book due to the cuteness of Rose and Nate (and sweet Kara of course!).

Rose and Nate are the unlikely couple that you can’t help but root for; Rose is a people pleaser (especially her family/Mom) who comes from old money, while Nate is a blue collar single dad who’s still healing from the loss of his wife. Once you put the two of them together you can instantly tell that they bring out the best in each other and help each other grow into the best versions of themselves. They back each other so that they can step out of their comfort zones and still feel safe. Overall a super cute book and I highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Anna Lenore for allowing me to read this ARC. What a great book! I’m sad that it’s over! This is my first book by this author and it did not disappoint.
***possible spoilers below

The story about love within different social classes and how it can work! I fell in love with Nate and Rose and would love more of their story in the future. Looking forward to reading her next book about the Junie and George and I’m hopeful hey catch a glimpse into the life of Nate and Rose.

Some spice which I thought was well written! I like some smut in my romance books and this one was done in a tasteful way and didn’t over power the story.

Nate was so lovable and was an incredible catch. He was dealing with the loss of his wife while navigating fatherhood and attempting a second chance at love.
Rose standing up to her family and finally giving in to what she wants was nice to read. So much growth in her adult life.

Anna’s writing draws you in immediately and I couldn’t put this book down. A must read! Can’t wait to read more by her!! Thank you for allowing me to be on your ARC team.

This book completely stole my heart! Such a fun & cute read!!

Two people from completely different worlds find their way to each other and I'm here for it.
A city girl and a country boy falling in love...It's a yes from me.

The fact that Rose and Nate unknowingly connected on a dating app while
meeting in real life at the same time—screams "meant to be".
I absolutely loved Rose’s character development and her journey to finding the life she truly wants. For so long, she was searching for love in all the wrong places, but in the end, she found it where she least expected—with someone who truly saw her. And NOT Malcolm.
Nate is THE sweetest, kindest, softest man ever. In the best way possible! He deserved to find happiness again. He had so much love to give. Speaking of love, Kara is the luckiest to have such an amazing dad. And she was such a scene-stealer—I adored her and her big personality from the very first moment!

My favorite part of the book was the way Rose and Nate pushed each other out of their comfort zones and went out of their way to make each other happy.

I’m already counting down the days until the next book. I NEED it.

ׂ╰┈➤ I recommend this book to anyone who loves:
• single dad
• forced proximity
• property manager x financial adviser
• blind dating app
• city girl x country boy
• heartbreaking past
• slow burn

💜Blindly Yours 📦
Book 1 of the Astor Trio Series
Written By: @annalenoreauthor

Overall: 4/5
Overall plot: 4/5
Character development: 4/5
Pace: 4/5

Thank you, Anna, for letting me read this ahead of the release date.

Rose Astor is someone who has everything planned down to a T by her parents. The weight of someone’s last name, bank account, parentage means everything in their world but when her boyfriend cheats on her, she’s struggling to see how she’d find someone with that pedigree that measures up to her parents’ (more like mom’s) ideal partner as well as what she’s looking for in a partner. Until her best friend suggests she signs up for an elite dating app, but she signs up for the wrong one and finds herself liking the person she blindly matches with.

Nate Hale is finally able to step back into the dating world after a tragedy that was out of his control. When there’s a ceiling leak at Rose’s office, Nate’s usual person is on holiday, so he goes and fixes it as his company’s the one who maintains that office building.

Both have prejudices and he makes fun of her expensive shoes, and she snarks right back while he fixes the leak. Until Rose has to make a house call for one of their VIP clients in the blizzard and as luck would have it, Nate’s the one giving her a place to stay until the storm is over. She sees a different side to him as well as meets his daughter, Kara, during this time and they have the best time. They find out who each other are and decide to make a go at it.

I really enjoyed how heartwarming it was when Rose bonds with Kara, how they have the most understanding and ADULT conversations even though feelings are hurt, and especially when Rose figures out who she is beyond what she’s been accustomed to and that she and Nate’s worlds’ aren’t quite as far apart as they might seem.

Overall, I’d recommend this book if you like to read a sweet and spicy blind dating app, opposites attract romance.

Thank you Anna Lenore, for giving me the ARC of this beautiful book! God, I was grinning like a fool the entire time while reading it. I couldn’t put it down for even a second and finished it in one sitting.

Rose and Nate’s story begins when Rose accidentally signs up for the wrong dating app and matches with Nate. They come from completely different worlds, Rose is from a wealthy family while Nate is a middle-class single dad raising his daughter. The story beautifully explores how despite their differences, they fall in love and create a place for each other in their lives.

I’m usually not a big fan of the "death of a partner" trope, but this one was executed so well. I loved seeing Nate heal from his trauma of losing his wife and finally move forward. I also adored how he helped Rose realize her true self and supported her throughout. In the same way, Rose encouraged Nate to step out of his comfort zone and filled the missing piece in his life.

The pacing of this book was just right, making everything feel so realistic. We see their relationship grow from the very beginning and with time it only becomes more beautiful. Their banter, sweet moments and heartfelt conversations were so soft and tender. I loved every bit of it. The text exchanges during the dating app phase were so sweet and enjoyable!

The side characters played a crucial role in the story. Rose’s parents had shaped her entire outlook on life, almost like a cage and I loved how Nate helped her break free and stand up for herself. Kara was such a sweet little girl and her scenes with Rose were adorable. I also loved how their bond developed over time. Nate and Kara’s father-daughter relationship was another beautiful highlight. And Rose’s moments with her brothers? So good! I can’t wait to read more about this trio. Also, Junie and George’s glimpses have me so intrigued, I can’t wait for their book!

Overall, I absolutely loved this book and you all need to give it a chance! If you enjoy single dad romances, dating app meet-cutes and the grumpy x sunshine trope, then definitely add this one to your TBR. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Blindly Yours (out March 25!) was a fun read whose premise sucked me in right away. It had a hint of You’ve Got Mail vibes as the main character, Rose, joins a dating app- Blindly. She thinks she is signing up for a dating app that is for singles of a certain income-level, and is surprised when she realizes the app doesn’t include a profile picture option! Rose finds herself caught between trying to live up to her parents’ expectations in life, which includes finding a partner who has money and status. Though she likes working at the family firm, she can’t help but wonder how life could look if she wasn’t always focused on wealth and prominence in the community.

Rose also finds herself oddly attracted to her grumpy rude maintenance man Nate as her worlds end up colliding in ways she next expected. Nate is such a sweetie- he is a single dad who has suffered tremendous heartbreak. I love Nate and his daughter, and the way Rose and Kara interact so naturally.

Special thanks to the blizzard that changes everything for Rose! I enjoyed the story, and the predicaments Rose gets into! The spice comes a bit later in the story, maybe about 70% into it. I loved seeing Rose realize what is truly important to her. She finally learns to follow her heart and stand up to those who try to control her.

This is the first book I’ve read of Anna Lenore’s and I was really impressed with her writing style. Everything flowed so nicely. Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down!

I am very grateful to have received an ARC. Something told me to go ahead and read this and I am glad I did. The beginning of this had me hooked. This story was so cute and filled me with so much happiness for the couple. My emotions were all over the place. I had a few moments where I teared up. I highly recommend this and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Rose lives in a world where her family has high expectations. She works for the family business and loves her job. Her personal life could be better. Her cheating creep of an ex is still trying to get her back after months apart. Her mom? She tries hard to get Rose to take him back. She has it in her head that her children can only end up with someone that is socially acceptable.

Nate has gone through severe trauma and has recently entered the dating world. Two years after losing his wife to cancer he is ready to open his heart to someone. With a grumpy exterior with a smushy interior he is bound to find someone.

After a night out Junnie tells Rose she needs to get back out there and recommends a dating app. That night Rose accidentally signs up for the wrong dating app, Blindly. This dating app follows the concept from ‘Love is Blind’ on Netflix. People will go based on the persons profile and it goes from there. Navigating through the app unsure of whether to see what happens with her connection, Rose is conflicted with this leading to potential heartbreak.

Is the potential rift with her family worth it? Can they make it work being from two totally different worlds? Is she truly happy living in this “perfect” mold?

Rose has grown up in a wealthy family, and with that comes expectations. Her mother’s expectations are that she marry someone equally as wealthy, with a good last name – even if it means that they have cheated on her. When she meant to join one dating app, she accidently joined a different one where you don’t get to see who you’re talking to. And there she started talking to “Big Spoon.” This Big Spoon seems to be so different than anyone she’s ever been with. Meanwhile, at work, her ceiling springs a leak. With that comes the grumpy repairman, Nate. She can’t wait for him to be gone. Then they are thrown together during a blizzard. Some revelations come to light. Will Rose do what’s expected of her? Or will she follow her heart?

This book literally made me smile from ear to ear. It made my heart sing. This was my first introduction to this author, but I can tell you, this won’t be the last book I read by this author. I love reading books about dating apps for some reason. Maybe it’s because I used to use them and never found any good luck, or maybe it’s because I know what it’s like to develop feelings when just talking over one. Whatever it is, I enjoy reading the witty banter.

What made this book SO different from others is that these characters were actual adults and acted like actual adults. They weren’t perfect. But they were open and vulnerable. They had the hard conversations. There was no reason to suspend belief in this book because everything written was believable.

I loved reading Rose realizing who she wanted to be and what she wanted out of life instead of living it for others. And Nate was so sweet and understanding. Her brother George had some great words of wisdom too.

Romance readers, you NEED to read this book!!!

💬 Oh man, this book was just so freaking sweet. I really enjoyed reading it- I basically read it in one sitting.

It was just so refreshing to read a book that was relatively low angst where there was no miscommunication to be found and they work through their problems and discussed their reasonable issues like adults. It it was sweet and sweet and just gave me all the warm fuzzies! I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy angst and sometimes I appreciate a miscommunication trope but I guess I just needed this book in my life right now.

The texting sections were really great too. Honestly, that's not something I really noticed or pay attention to in books but something about this stood out to me.

But alo the way I cringed at the secondhand embarrassment when they discovered they'd been messaging each other on the app 😩 hahahahahaha

And ermahGAWD Nate 🥹 and all he's gone through 🥹🥹🥹

I don't know really what else to say, this was just such a well written, satisfying read. The characters were believable and I really connected with them, I was cheering hard for Rose and Nate during the third act drama and just all around it was a cute story. Now I need George and Junie's story 👀

Blindly Yours was such a quick read! Mind you, I finished this in a day and a half—which, honestly, is a huge win for me. The plot flew by, from casual chats on a dating app (which totally gave me flashbacks to the good ol’ Omegle days) to deep convos and then, bam, they’re engaged! Things escalated real quick, but like, in the best way possible. 💍

Now let’s talk about Nate’s glow up. From grumpy handyman to certified softie? I was so here for it. Like, yes sir, show us those feelings! Bonus points for being upfront about his past too. And can we appreciate how honest he was from the very start? He literally laid down what he was looking for through the app. Some Bumble guys could never! 😅😂

And Rose. Wow, I adore her! Especially when she stood her ground and went after what she truly wanted. Even if it meant going against her mom. We love a queen who refuses to let anyone dim her light. Like, YES girl, fight for your happiness! 💯🫵🏼

Also, Kara? Literal sunshine. Her giggles, her energy like she was such a warm presence, not just to Nate but also to Rose (especially during that unexpected sleepover thanks to the storm). And when she was okay to call Rose “mom”? I melted. 🥹💖

A love like this. Finding someone who really gets you, pushes you outside your comfort zone without making you feel guilty for it? That’s rare. And honestly? It hits different.

Thank you Anna Lenore for sending me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I went into this with no expectations and was hooked immediately. This was the perfect easy, fluffy read after finishing a heavy 4 book series. Hallmark movie vibes for sure.

Rose is trying to move on from her cheating ex, so when her best friend tells her about an exclusive dating app for “elites” she decides she’s going to join. Only one problem, what was the name of the app? Rose only remembers the letter the app started with and accidentally joins the wrong app, Blindly, which is for people looking for a “blind date”approach to dating and doesn’t allow sharing pictures until both parties agree.

Nate is the grumpy and hot repairman that is fixing Rose’s ceiling after a leak. But there’s a lot more to Nate than meets the eye. Widowed and with a daughter to take care of, Nate has recently begun trying to date on a new app called Blindly.

When Rose and Nate realize they’ve been messaging each other on Blindly, they can’t help but think about how different are…not to mention, in completely different tax brackets.

This was such a sweet story with some very heartfelt moments. You can’t help but root for Nate and Rose!

Also I can’t wait for Junie and George’s story

I wasn’t sure what to except when I started this book. I was excited that it was based in Minnesota which is where I live. I got to one part about the Dairy Queen in Annandale and texted my cousin immediately because my grandpa lives there and we used to walk to that DQ!

Rose lives in upper class society working downtown. Her mom is insistent on setting her up with someone who makes a lot of buy and owns expensive things. She recently broke things off with Malcom and isn’t interested in anyone her mom wants her to be with.

Nate is widowed with a young daughter. He owns a company and his employee was on vacation so he has to go fix a leaking ceiling where he runs into rose for the first time

Rose wants to try using a dating app and downloads the wrong one. Her and Nate start talking and build their relationship without knowing what the other looks like (think love is blind) and find out later that they had met.

This was such a fun, cute story that I really enjoyed! I can’t wait for the next one to come out to read!!

from start to finish, the story felt easy to sink into. the pacing was smooth, the conflict wasn’t unnecessarily heavy, and the romance between Nate and Rose just clicked. i’m not usually drawn to the single parent trope, but this one might’ve just turned me into a fan 😍 there was something warm and comforting about their dynamic, and the spice was just enough to keep things interesting without overdoing it.

one thing i appreciated was how the characters' careers were portrayed — no overwhelming jargon, just enough to understand their world and stay focused on the relationships that mattered. the writing struck a good balance between plot and character growth, and i found myself rooting not only for Nate and Rose, but also for Junie and George (can’t wait for book 2!) 💖

the way everything came together in the end felt just right — no unnecessary drama, just a satisfying resolution that made sense for the characters. it was one of those reads that quietly sticks with you in the best way.

I was delighted to receive this book as ARC.

Nate and Rose's love story feels so modern and realistic. Running into a match from a dating website is something that could happen to anyone. Add in the element of not knowing that it is the person you are talking to, and a compelling story is born. I enjoyed that we did not receive Nate's perspective in the story until Rose knew who he was. It created suspense the story that is not typical in a HEA book.

I was glad that Rose did not wait to long to decide to go on a date with Nate after he kissed her. I think the book would have dragged if we had to go back and for with a will she or won't she story line. Instead, we were able to watch them date and deal with the recursions of that.

I do wish the characters were a little older. The timeline for Nate's previous marriage, and having a 7 year old felt a little tight.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Some slight spoilers in this review*****

This book sucked me right in. I read it over 2 days. Such a fun love story with some tragedy in the back story. So many touching and real conversations throughout.

Rose and Nate come from very different backgrounds. She’s the child of a very wealthy family, successful. Although he’s successful in his own right, he’s from a very different world.
They meet on a blind dating app and hit it off. But they’ve also met in real life where their interactions were less than favorable.

Her ex brings a challenge to her on a daily basis and her meddling mom made me want to scream, but it added a realness to the story that I loved. I very much recommend this one!
The way their relationship develops and the update one year later was the perfect ending in my opinion.

Thank you Anna Lenora for the ARC read, now excuse me while I go find more of your books.

After reading a ton of dramas, mysteries, and thrillers recently, I needed a pallet cleaner and this book was seriously perfect. It gave me the same giddy feeling I used to get reading YA as a teenager, but with spicier adult themes. There are a few things I think I’d have changed, like age the characters up a couple of years, (you can tell now when a Gen Z aged character is written by a millennial :) ), but it didn’t deflect from the storyline. I’ve read quite a few romance novels in the last year, and this was by far one of the better ones.

All in all, this was a super cute book, and I’d gladly pick it up again and re-read when I am wanting something light, quick, and heartwarming.

This book starts with such an interesting premise where the FMC Rose joins the wrong dating app to find a partner who would fit into her life and her parent’s expectations for her and instead she starts communicating with a man who she almost instantly clicks with but doesn’t know his identity. At that same time she starts to notice Nate, a grumpy man who comes to her office to take care of a leak in the ceiling. Even beyond the romance which was lovely, Rose truly finding who she wants to be with and defending her choices is what kept me engaged with this story. I look forward to reading other books by this author. Thank you to author Anna Lenore for the opportunity to read this arc early for my honest review.

Thank you to Anne Lenore for choosing me to be an ARC reader for this book.

If you are looking for a cute romance, this is definitely your book. You get to meet Rose, a young girl who is part of a large wealthy family, looking for love after her breakup from a douchy Ex-boyfriend. Sets up a profile on what she thinks is a high profile dating app, but ultimately turns out to be a blind dating app where she falls for an unsuspecting guy, who turns out to be the grumpy fix it man who steps in when their original handy man goes on vacation. It’s one where you know what’s going to happen from the beginning but so cute and clever that it has a hold on you to the very end! Can’t wait for more from Anne Lenore.

I’m so thankful this was my first ARC, I was really excited and not disappointed at all.

I fully believe Anna was teasing with the characters and the development of their relationship because I was convinced it was pretty predictable for me (spoiler alert, it was not). I really liked the couple and Rose’s growth along the book but I would say they were both grumpy lol.

Also, this was just a couple pages in, but when the name of the book is introduced I thought it was really cute and hilarious.

I would just advise, as I totally get it was on a modern setting, that the messages supposed to be on the app have a little more design or be on bubbles cause even though I knew they were messaging it looked messy on the pages (downloaded for Kindle).

What I wouldn’t give to have this dating app come to life! When Rose downloads the wrong dating app but ends up meeting the perfect match for herself, but needs to come clean to her family… what could go wrong?
Future COO Rose Astor decides to give online dating a try, instead of downloading the site singles app, she ends up getting Blindly, a new app that matches your without knowing what the other looks like. Fun witty banter, heart warming family moments, tears, and laughter is what you’ll find with their texts back and forth. A snowstorm ends up putting these 2 in quite a predicament but can the heart win out?
This was so cute, charming, and an easy read. I loved most their banter and friendship that instantly formed between Rose and Kara. So sweet and a perfect match.

Could not put it down!

I was skeptical about Rose (fmc) at first. I judged her and almost dismissed her. She grew and I got to see who she was under all those layers.
I really enjoyed the character development between Nate and Rose throughout the book as their love story unfolded. The premise of online dating without a photo and them both being from different walks of life (country vs city living, money/status differences) was really interesting and engaging to read about. It reminded me at times of Abby Jimenez’s Part of Your World (which I loved). So if you’re looking for a lighthearted read that you can breeze through look no further!
