Sierra: Adventures of a Young Pop Journalist

Rate this book
A young pop journalist arrives in town with a bagful of serendipitous tales. She soon learns the town is both good and evil. Pursued by a white knight prosecutor and a black hat defense lawyer, she escapes into the company of an older cynical ex judge with his own skeletons. She tells him stories of an enchanting magical world of music concerts, a mad-hatter landscape artist, roving musicians, a defrocked monk, errant angels, and a lonely woman’s quest for love. Over time, the judge cannot wait for her to visit. But sadly, due to an unfortunate twist of fate, their beautiful friendship is ended. For the judge, it’s a little too final. He is lost without her. He mopes about, wishing more than anything she will return to tell him one more story.
