Grosse déception cette série ouin
J'ai ADORÉ Le péché originel de Takopi et je m'attendais a surkiffé cette série mais ptit flop
Trop brouillon, personnages pas attachants, trop de plot twists qui perdent le lecteur plus qu'autre chose et la fin est vraiment retombée comme un soufflé...

Having had time to fully digest it, I offer my true review:

A 48 chapter series. Dude wakes up from a coma, has amnesia, as does the rest of his family. Is it real? Is it a dream? Is it both? Is it neither? And, when you get right down to it, do any of those questions actually matter?

This manga has caught a lot of flack from people. Admittedly, a good portion of it is deserved. However, most of it seems to revolve around the resolution of the plot, the point of which escaped them*. It's basically the Under the Silver Lake of manga.

I was going to give it a 7/10, but I will instead give it an 8.5/10 sheerly out of spite.

Buone le premesse da thriller, quando ho iniziato a leggerlo sei mesi fa, che hanno retto per i primi due volumetti fino a diventare un pasticcio con crateri di trama e personaggi che piagnucolano in continuazione.
Forse perché vedevano che la storia colava a picco settimana dopo settimana?
E poi: protagonista insulso, piatto come una tavola, personaggi mai completamente analizzati e con cui è impossibile empatizzare. Per non parlare di questi fantomatici "peccati capitali", un'esca presente solo nel titolo dell'opera.
Leggo qualcosa soprattutto per la trama, non importa quanto i disegni siano s/gradevoli, ma lì si entra nel campo dei gusti personali.
Qui manca davvero tutto, non mi avvicinerò a nessun'altra opera di Taizan 5.

POPKULTUROWY KOCIOŁEK: After five volumes filled with unanswered questions, the sixth volume faced a very difficult task. It not only had to conclude the story but also answer questions that the author had deliberately been raising for a long time. Added to this were all the previous dreams, awakenings, family conflicts, and subsequent shifts in perspective. In such a case, the ending could easily disappoint. And unfortunately, it partially did. However, this doesn't mean the ending is bad. Quite the opposite. I consider what Taizan 5 wants to say in the final volume to be meaningful and valuable. The problem lies more with the path chosen to reach this message.

One of the most important questions that recurs throughout the pages and frames of volume six is: is it better to live in an ideal world, a dream, or accept reality with its pain, conflicts, and disappointments? This isn't a new question. It's appeared numerous times in literature, film, anime, and manga. Taizan 5 doesn't attempt to be overly revealing in this regard. It simply skillfully integrates this problem into the story of a family constantly struggling to function normally. Family relationships take on even greater significance here than before. The Ichinoses cease to be figures in a grand mystery. They become people who must learn to communicate with each other. They must accept that conflict doesn't mean the end of a relationship. That closeness doesn't mean constant pretense. That honesty sometimes hurts, but its absence can cause even greater harm.

It's a shame the finale doesn't give this issue the space it deserves to fully resonate. The sixth volume is short, and as a result, some of the resolutions feel rushed. After so many complications, I expected an ending that would allow me to calmly put all the pieces together. Instead, I received a relatively simple ending, but one preceded by a very complicated path.

Is it satisfying? Partially. Is it consistent with the themes of the manga as a whole? Definitely. After all the previous twists, was I expecting something more impressive? Yes.....

This series is such a mess. The author had a bunch of good ideas, but absolutely couldn't put them all together well. The work as a whole feels like a response to the way family is depicted in teen media. It's about how we get the family we get and maybe that's fine. Maybe you don't need to cut off your blood relatives. Maybe a found family wouldn't actually be any better because all relationships are flawed and complex. I think those are really interesting ideas to explore, especially in a work targeted at adolescents. That being said, the story is hard to follow, the plot has gaping craters, and the attempt to make the work into a thriller undermines many of the themes.

La série était pas mal, intrigante même. Mais a un moment ça va un peu trop loin dans les alternatives... et la conclusion tombe vraiment comme un cheveux sur la soupe. C'est logique mais pas très surprenant... en fait c'est même pas tellement logique. Ça sent le "je savais pas trop comment conclure".
Bref je suis pas mal déçue.
