Grosse déception cette série ouin
J'ai ADORÉ Le péché originel de Takopi et je m'attendais a surkiffé cette série mais ptit flop
Trop brouillon, personnages pas attachants, trop de plot twists qui perdent le lecteur plus qu'autre chose et la fin est vraiment retombée comme un soufflé...

Having had time to fully digest it, I offer my true review:

A 48 chapter series. Dude wakes up from a coma, has amnesia, as does the rest of his family. Is it real? Is it a dream? Is it both? Is it neither? And, when you get right down to it, do any of those questions actually matter?

This manga has caught a lot of flack from people. Admittedly, a good portion of it is deserved. However, most of it seems to revolve around the resolution of the plot, the point of which escaped them*. It's basically the Under the Silver Lake of manga.

I was going to give it a 7/10, but I will instead give it an 8.5/10 sheerly out of spite.

Buone le premesse da thriller, quando ho iniziato a leggerlo sei mesi fa, che hanno retto per i primi due volumetti fino a diventare un pasticcio con crateri di trama e personaggi che piagnucolano in continuazione.
Forse perché vedevano che la storia colava a picco settimana dopo settimana?
E poi: protagonista insulso, piatto come una tavola, personaggi mai completamente analizzati e con cui è impossibile empatizzare. Per non parlare di questi fantomatici "peccati capitali", un'esca presente solo nel titolo dell'opera.
Leggo qualcosa soprattutto per la trama, non importa quanto i disegni siano s/gradevoli, ma lì si entra nel campo dei gusti personali.
Qui manca davvero tutto, non mi avvicinerò a nessun'altra opera di Taizan 5.

This Is How You Lose The Shonen Jump-Axe War (with disgrace) (went from something really promising and up to my alley, to "GOTTA TRUST THE PROCESS" cope, to "look into my eyes babe this is not you" plea).

They turned this manga into that triptych horse drawing meme.

This series is such a mess. The author had a bunch of good ideas, but absolutely couldn't put them all together well. The work as a whole feels like a response to the way family is depicted in teen media. It's about how we get the family we get and maybe that's fine. Maybe you don't need to cut off your blood relatives. Maybe a found family wouldn't actually be any better because all relationships are flawed and complex. I think those are really interesting ideas to explore, especially in a work targeted at adolescents. That being said, the story is hard to follow, the plot has gaping craters, and the attempt to make the work into a thriller undermines many of the themes.
