It takes more than wild promises to get to happily ever after. Especiallyfor us… I thought my best friend forgot about the marriage pact we made when we were kids.
She didn’t.
See, Tori needs to prove to her dad that she’s committed to staying in our small town and taking over his medical practice. What better way to do that than getting hitched here?
It would benefit me, too. After all, proving to mybrothers that I was committed to running the family business had become a struggle.
So, I agreed to a fake engagement of sorts. And now, I’m in trouble.
Big trouble.
Because being with her like this? It’s made me long to turn our fake relationship into a real one.
Tori is smart. Driven. Distractingly hot. She’s perfect. There’s really only one thing keeping us apart.
Too bad that one thing is me and the fact that I’ll never be good enough for her…

5 Star Review Wild Promises (The Wilde Brothers #4) by Lea Coll
This is Xander and Tori’s story and was a fantastic addition to The Wilde Brothers series from Lea Coll.
I fell hard for Xander, he is my idea of a book boyfriend as he ticked all the boxes for me. I admired Tori and everything she achieved.
I loved the development of their relationship as they moved from friends to lovers in what started out as a fake relationship and the completion of a pact they made when they were teenagers.
Ms. Coll had me invested from the start with characters that were easy to relate to and easy to like.
This is a well written, entertaining story that left me with a smile on my face.
In this friends-to-lovers romance, Xander and Tori rekindle their friendship after Tori left for medical school and never returned to Telluride. Sidetracked by her job at a busy NYC emergency room, she lost herself for a while, forgetting her own goals in order to support her surgeon boyfriend's goals and work toward what she 'should' want. When circumstances change for Tori, she returns home and remembers what she loves about small town life. Having reevaluated her goals, she has decided to embrace her hometown and return to her roots. Ideally, she would like to take over her father's medical practice once he decides to retire.
Xander has always lived in Telluride. He loves his family, their lodge and his job teaching skiing at the resort. In outward appearances he is an easy-going person with an eye to having a good time. What none of his family sees is the man devoted to his job and the tourists at his family's resort. Having always heard from his family and others that he's just out for a good time, Xander has begun to believe the hype and lost confidence in his ability to help make his family's business successful.
Xander has had a crush on Tori for years, becoming estranged from her so that he didn't have to hear about her new life and relationship in NYC. No one else has ever measured up for him...he is looking for a serious relationship, but wants someone who is a friend first and romantic partner second. His brothers see his lack of a relationship as an unwillingness to commit, not the mature decision to seek meaning and family that it really is.
In order to show their family and friends that they are both serious about settling permanently in Telluride and building a future there, Xander and Tori fall back on a teenage pact to get together if they are still single at 30. For Xander, this is the opportunity to change his relationship with Tori from friendship to partnership - something he has wanted for years. For Tori, this is her opportunity to show her father that she's planning to stay and that he can count on her to take over his medical practice. Her father doubts that she will stay and is looking at potential buyers to take on the practice instead.
Neither Tori nor Xander are brave enough to open up to the other when their fake relationship turns into something real. They've been friends for so long that both are terrified to lose that friendship. With that long history, this couple knows each other from the inside out, making the transition to a romantic relationship a little bit scary but a lot easier. The best part of this story for me was Xander allowing others to see his true self - the more serious side that is devoted to his family and their business, the man who is supportive and encouraging to his students and has a giving heart. His brothers were missing the magic that Xander brings to the world. I was so happy when he was able to win the woman of his heart to make his life complete.
Four stars for this small-town friends to lovers romance.
This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.
This is the 4th story in the Wilde Brothers series and is the story of Xander and Tori. These two are lifelong BFFs who lost touch a bit when Tori went away to college and medical school. They made a pact when they were young to marry one another if neither was married by the time they were 30. When Tori comes home and they begin to reconnect they realize that their long ago marriage pact might be able to help them with the future they both want. Things become complicated by the fact they fall back into their easy friendship and now have secret feelings for one another.
This is a great story and I absolutely LOVED getting to know Xander! He wasn’t what I expected at all. Growing up a middle child he had no pressure of being the smartest or most ambitious, he could simply be. He grew up the charming, fun loving, flirty brother that didn’t take life too seriously. While that was great, he didn’t take himself too seriously either and never really developed ambitions or dreams for himself. No one expected much of him so he didn’t expect much of himself.
His brothers didn’t take him seriously or respect him and when they wanted him to step up for the business, he couldn’t because he didn’t know how. When the brothers realize this, they basically threaten to take his job away if he can’t figure out how to contribute at a higher level. This was when my heart hurt for him. Watching him have to deal with his brother’s dismissal of his abilities and disrespect was rough. I was SO glad that he had Tori in his world to help him see what others wouldn’t – a great guy with a great heart and more than what is on the surface.
Tori is a sweetheart too. She is the polar opposite of Xander. She is smart, uber-focused and ambitious. But Tori has an issue too. She grew up wanting to become a doctor, work with her father and eventually take over his practice. After medical school, she chose to work in a hospital and not return home. After breaking things off with her guy, she moves home for her dream only to find out that her father has made other plans assuming that she isn’t serious about his business any longer. No one thinks she is here to stay, especially her father so these two friends hatch a plan to fix their issues.
This was an amazing best friends to more story! You just knew that they belonged together and wanted them to hurry up and figure that out for themselves. I absolutely loved that they brought out the best in one another and worked to help others see the wonderful person that each of them was. Their friendship was so solid and the chemistry? Wow! But for me it was just how wonderful they were with each other and truly wanting the best for the other.
I love these Wilde brothers and can’t wait for more. I love seeing current glimpses of previous couples and hints for future couples. Keep writing these wonderful families Ms. Coll and I’ll be there for all of them!
This wonderful friends to lovers romance touched my heart, made me smile and also made me want to shake a few characters to wake them up to what was really going on. First, Xander’s brothers, Eli and Oliver needlessly made Xander think that he would be out of a job at his family’s resort. They didn’t bother to examine what his job really entailed, the customer reviews that highlighted his skills and value to the resort or to even coach him on taking a bigger role in the business. They bought into his reputation of being a player, assumed he lived a carefree life and was irresponsible. Nothing could have been further from the truth, but their dismissal of his contributions to the resort, especially his rapport and connection with the resort guests, wounded him and made him doubt himself. They made him believe that he wasn’t enough for them or for Tori. Thankfully, Tori was on his side and helped him navigate the period of insecurity that his brothers caused for him. She made him see that he was worthy, and that he was an asset to the family business. She believed him when he said he was not the player everyone thought him to be and saw his insecure, vulnerable and sensitive side that he did his best to hide from everyone else.
Secondly, I wanted to shake Tori’s dad. Yes, Tori had a change of direction after finishing her education, but he didn’t believe she was home to stay and really didn’t talk about any alternatives to selling his practice. It was a case of letting his past hurt and disappointment at her decisions to set the tone, instead of really talking things out with his daughter. Thank goodness, she had Xander to support her and encourage, and even concoct a plan that would show her parents that she was committed to staying in her home town. Xander even went further to help the situation between father and daughter, though he knew that Tori would be displeased by his actions.
Lastly, I really wanted to shake Tori and Xander. They both had been attracted to each other for years, even secretly crushed on each other. With her return home, they finally had the chance to come clean with each other, but instead chose to hide their feelings again. When their fake dating turned intimate, they still didn’t find the courage to tell each other. Yes, I just wanted to give them a good shaking. I have to say, though, that Xander truly stepped it up in the epilogue to show Tori the depth of his love. It truly was heartwarming and rather swoon worthy.
I won’t hesitate to recommend this excellent book.
Childhood Friends Make Wedding Pact This is the fourth book in the Wilde Brothers series. Tori and Xander were best friends. When they were seventeen, they made a pact that if they weren't married by the time they were 30 that they'd marry each other. Xander saw Tori when she came home at New Year's Eve. He had feelings for her but she was an emergency room doctor with a surgeon doctor for a boyfriend and lives in New York. He feels less than her since he teaches ski lessons at his family's lodge. He doesn't see that he has value to his family business and it doesn't help that everyone thinks he's a womanizer and doesn't take the family business seriously. He just feels like it's easier to let everyone feel that way about him. But now his older brothers want him to settle down and take his place in the business seriously. Meanwhile, Tori goes back to New York and finds her boyfriend has been having affairs - just because he thinks he can. She packs up and goes home. She had dreams of helping her father in his family practice but finds out that he's decided to sell his practice. Now she's not sure what to do. She talks to Xander and they decide that they might be able to make use of their wedding pact and let people think they are serious about each other and in turn their families would take them serious. Sounds like a good idea until they both secretly figure out that they have feelings for each other. I really liked this book. You don't have to read the previous books but I encourage you to do so. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series that was teased at the end of this book. I was given an early copy of the book to read and review. I'm leaving my honest review.
Wild Promises by Lea Coll, book four in the Wilde Brothers series, is a wonderful, heartwarming, reuniting of best friends, fake relation, and friends to lovers story. Tori and Xander made a promise to each other when they were seventeen years old that if neither one of them were married by thirty, they would marry one another. They have since both gone their separate ways; Tori a doctor in New York. Xander giving ski lessons at his family’s resort. Their story is one of friendship, passion, trying to find your place in the family dynamic and a love that has always been there and was kept as a secret.
Xander, the middle Wilde child, has a reputation for being a player and not being serious about anything. He feels pressured to find a way to help at the family's resort and be a productive part of the business; more than he already does. Tori returned home after her relationship fell apart and is hoping to work with her dad in his practice but he doesn’t believe that she wants to take over his small town practice. They decide to help one another get what they want, with Tori moving in to Xander’s apartment. A fake relationship is a great idea until lines are crossed and feelings get involved.
Ms. Coll wrote a wonderful, heartwarming, best friends to lovers story filled with passion, heartfelt moments, clever banter, sizzling heat, emotional depth, and small-town charm. I loved the development of their relationship as they moved from friends to lovers in what started out as a fake relationship and the completion of a pact they made when they were teenagers. I'm looking forward to the next Wilde brother getting his story.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
OMG, Wild Promises is one book that you cannot miss. Ms. Coll does it yet again with her brilliant writing skills, addictive storyline and relatable characters. With each book in this series, we are given a beautiful story of two people who were made for one another. In Wild Promises we are given the story of Xander and Tori, two friends who made a pact when they were younger that if neither one of them were married by thirty, they would marry one another. Their story is one of friendship, passion, trying to find your place in the family dynamic and a love that has always been there and was kept as a secret. Xander is the middle Wilde child and has a bit of a reputation for being a player and not being serious about anything. He feels pressured to find a way to help at the family's resort and be a productive part of the business. Tori is back home after her relationship fell apart and is hoping to work with her dad in his practice. The two of them arrange to help one another attain what they want. A fake relationship is a great idea until lines are crossed and feelings get involved. Wild Promises is a heartwarming friends to lovers that will have you feeling all the feels and will put a smile on your face. Xander is a man who knows how to take care of the woman he loves and shows Tori it all the time. Tori is a woman who is ambitious, smart and a person that everyone loves. The two of them are opposites but have a chemistry that sees the two of them as perfect for one another.
Our residential lover-boy finally getting his HEA. Tori and Xander have been best friends since they were kids. But as they got older life happened and their friendship suffered a bit due to it. But when things go south for Tori in NY, she finally comes home to start her life as she should have done years before. But getting your dreams come true might not be as easy as you hoped and when Xander offers his help, she accepts it not knowing her life will never be the same.
Xander has had a crush on Tori seems like forever and now that she's back, he's more than wiling to help her make her dreams come true. In the process she's there to support him while he's trying to prove to his brothers that he too contributes to the family ski resort. Spending time together is not a problem but when feelings they have for each other start to come out, all bets are off and they make a go for a real relationship.
Its been a hot minute since the last time i felt a connection to a male leading character, but i could see myself so much in Xander. His struggles to prove his worth felt a bit to close to home and i was rooting so hard for him to get the girl and the respect he deserved. With the little epilogue at the end, i'm so invested in the last Wilde brother and it will be torture to get my hands on his story buuut until then we have something new and exciting happening next and I can not wait to start reading.

What a great read. I am loving this series so much. Xander was so misunderstood. Everyone saw him as a playboy and someone not interested in the family business of running the resort. All could not be further than the truth. He never corrected people’s perception of himself. But now regrets it because his brothers are questioning his ability to take his part in running the resort. The truth is he does not feel that he is good enough and feels he brings nothing to the table. He is happy being a ski instructor and being with the people than behind a desk. Tori is back and ready to take over her fathers medical practice. But it is not going according to her plan. To show their families that they are ready to take on these responsibilities they decide to form a fake relationship. What Tori does not know is Xander’s feelings for her are true. He wants a forever with her but he afraid to tell her how he feels because he feels he has nothing to offer her. He doesn’t see himself as worthy like Tori sees him. He doesn’t see the man beneath what everyone else thinks they see. She sees the caring, passionate, responsible man who has every right to be part of the resort. They help each other in finally achieving what they want in love and in business. Their friendship has never gone away. Through their friendship they discovered a love that they never had with anyone else. A love that was just theirs. A forever love and a happily ever after.
I am loving every installment of this series !! The Wilde Brothers have it all together .. once they each realize they can find true love and happiness just like their parents.
When you make a pact with your best friend when you are a teenager and the time limit is coming up to expire and you both find yourself going to be 30 years old, single and still trying to find yourself in adult life even when you are a doctor and business owner .. you do what any teenager would do .. Fall in Love with your BEST FRIEND !!
Even though Tori thought she found her forever in NYC after becoming a doctor she knew in her heart deep down Hugh wasn’t her forever !! So when she went home because she knew that is where she belonged she hoped her best friend would still be her best friend after not speaking for a while.
Xander knew he needed to get his act together before his bothers kick him out of a job that he has loved since a little boy so when an opportunity arises he grabs it or her and gets to work to save his dreams from falling apart.
And so a LOVING friendship arises and grows and grows and grows BUT what happens if there dream jobs are not at stake anymore and there hearts are ??
Boy these two make you want to scream at the pages and say .. talk to each over, love is LOVE any way you slice it !! Phenomenal installment !! Can’t wait for Killian and Natalie .. I think the hate will be off the charts !!
When Tori Clark is betrayed by the man who she thought loved her, she quits her job and returns to her hometown. As a doctor, will her opportunity to work with her father still be available or has he decided to sell his practice? Also, there is her best friend Xander Wilde and their pact to marry if they were still single at the age of thirty. Will he still be single and will he welcome her home? Xander, the Wilde Resort ski instructor and outdoor event coordinator, is dealing with his brothers’ belief that he is not truly involved in the family business. Now he learns that his long-time friend, Tori, is coming home. As they meet and discuss the recent events in their lives, she mentions the pact from years ago. Is there a chance that if they act as if they are now in a committed relationship, that her father will believe that she plans to stay this time? Will she help Xander see how much he has done on behalf of the resort of which his brothers are unaware? Will their fake engagement, lead to so much more for both of them? A beautiful reminder that you might be making a positive difference in other’s lives, in small ways, without ever having expected anything in return. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review.
I’m not sure how this author manages to make me really like someone, then want to scream at them when they’re not seeing the latest person to find their forever. And trust me, you’ll want to scream a bit. But then it’ll all be straightened out. Brothers are usually well-meaning, even if their delivery and message suck. And that’s very much the case here.
Xander is 100% not what you’d expect. I had some inklings before now, but he proves who he truly is early in, and he doesn’t play games with those he loves. And Tori is at the top of that love list. She just doesn’t realize it. Then again, maybe he needs to see her love list himself so he can understand just how worthy he is of love, too.
This starts as friends, even though Xander has always wished for more. And it progresses in an excellent way. Maybe a little too much confidence is had sometimes, but when you’re afraid that it’ll all fall apart, Xander and Tori will surprise you. So will his brothers. And I already can’t wait for Noelle to put an arrogant brother in his place. I’m pretty sure that’s going to be quite the ride.
Wild Promises is book 4 in the Wilde Brothers Series and this is Xander Wilde and Tori’s second chance, fake to real love story. Tori and Xander were childhood friends and when they were seventeen they made a pack to get married to each other if they weren’t married by the time they were 30. Xander has never forgotten the girl he pledged to marry even when she moved in with her surgeon boyfriend in New York so how will he react when she comes back home and now she is single ….. Tori moved to New York to study to be a doctor and she has been working in as a emergency room doctor but when she catches her boyfriend cheating on her she decides to move back home and take over her fathers medical practice. Problem is her father has already put feelers out for buyers for the practice. Maybe the marriage pact will help both Xander and Tori and prove to both their families that they are home to stay and having the ski resort and the medical practice as their priorities. Wild Promises ticked all my boxes, I fell hard and fast for Xander who really wasn’t the man his family thought he was and I adored Tori but it was the camaraderie this family share that takes this book to another level. This is a well written, entertaining small town romance.
It's the age old question can a man and a woman really be just friends? In the case of Xander and Tori the answer is yes, until they started pretending they were more. Of course to be fair Xander already had a crush on Tori. This friends to lovers romance is the 4th book in the Wilde Brother's series. Xander is the fun time brother, the easy going, go with the flow, good time guy. Except that's not what he wants anymore. He's ready to prove to his family he can do his part. Tori has been in NY with her boyfriend from college chasing down his ambitions as a surgeon while he's been chasing down all the nurses in the hospital behind her back. Now Tori's headed to put her dreams back on track if she can convince her dad she is ready to put down roots. For these two bff's who better to help make all your dreams come true then each other? Reading how they fortify their friendship, fall in love, struggle to communicate over the fear of losing one another and finally..... Well read for yourself it's worth it I promise. I have voluntarily left this review.
Tori Clark left Telluride for college and medical school with the intention of returning to practice medicine with her father in his small town medical office. However she met a surgeon who dazzled her and took her off course for a few years until she caught him flagrantly cheating with a nurse. Beautiful, blonde and curvy she returns to Telluride but finds her dad intends to sell the practice to gain retirement funds and is deflated until she again meets her best childhood friend, Xander Wilde and they are still attracted to each other. Secretly each have crushed on the other but dared not reveal their true feelings being afraid it would hurt their friendship which is special. This is a very well written romance which tenderly describes the long suppressed love each has held for the other and even though they begin to make love on a fake relationship basis it won't be able to remain so. The love scenes between them are very hot and become smoking hot! A wonderful read as both lovers help each other and find their soul mates. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.
I’ve been absolutely loving watching the Wilde brothers find love, and I was beyond excited to dive into Wild Promises, the fourth book in Lea Coll’s Wilde Brothers series. This one follows Xander and Tori in a brilliantly hot, passionate friends-to-lovers romance that starts as a fake relationship—but let’s be honest, the minute Dr. Tori returns home after catching her boyfriend cheating, the sparks between her and Xander are anything but fake.
Both Xander and Tori are navigating complicated family expectations. Xander is determined to prove to his brothers that he’s an asset to the family resort, while Tori is back to take over her father’s medical practice as he prepares to retire. Their agreement to fake a relationship is meant to help them earn their rightful places in their respective family businesses, but as their undeniable chemistry ignites, it quickly becomes clear that nothing about what’s happening between them is pretend.
Once again, Lea Coll delivers a delicious romance packed with passion, heartfelt moments, and a captivating storyline. Wild Promises is the perfect mix of sizzling heat, emotional depth, and small-town charm—an absolute must-read for fans of fake-dating tropes that turn oh-so-real!
Xander and Tori were good friends growing up and made that marriage pact - the one about not being married before 30, they will marry. Xander thought it was off the table until Tori unexpectedly returns home to Telluride after breaking up with her long time boyfriend in NYC. They are both on a mission to advance their careers - Xander wants to prove to his brothers that he is an equal contributor to the family ski lodge business, Tori wants to convince her dad to sell her his medical practice. They think posing as a couple might help convince people they are serious. This is a romance novel so you have to go with the premise! I found Xander’s character to be a little insecure/immature at times but I did like how they supported each other and cared about each other.
I have read all the other books in the series and like them. This would work as a stand alone but I do recommend the others.
In this the fourth book in the series, Xander Wilde, the supposed playboy of the Wilde brothers gets the feeling that his brothers don't take him seriously but he doesn't know what to do to change that. When his childhood friend, Tori, comes home from New York where she is a doctor, they talk about their childhood pact to marry each other if they were both single by the time they turned thirty. Xander sees this as a way to show his brothers that he's responsible and Tori thinks that it will help her dad know that she wants to stay in Telluride and work with him at his medical practice. But what starts off as a fake relationship, soon brings up the feelings from their youth and they become impossible to ignore. But without proper communication, everything could fall apart.
Fun friends to lovers romance, with Ms. Coll's usual easy style of prose that flows effortlessly and keeps you rooting for love!
After leaving her hometown to pursue her education and her career as a doctor Tori has recently returned when her relationship ended. Now that she is back, she wants to become part of her father’s medical practice but that means convincing that her return is permanent. The only way that she can think of to convince him is by marrying Xander, her childhood friend.
Xander wants to play a bigger role in the family business however he is having difficulty showing his siblings that he is an asset. He believes the best way is to show them he is committed to the business and his hometown and what better way than marrying Tori but living together will force them to face what their feelings for each other truly are.
Emotion and romance combine as both Tori and Xander are so supportive of each other. What began as an arrangement to accomplish their dreams professionally leads to the love and life they have always wanted.
I have been waiting for Xander's story. His best friend, and secret crush Tori, from childhood has moved back home to prove to her father she can continue the practice. Xander loves being the ski instructor, but his brothers feel he should be more involved in The two of them made a pact that if they weren't married by 30 they would marry each other. Both afraid to reveal their feelings decide they would fake their relationship by her moving in with him. How can you not love Xander, he's nothing like his playboy reputation but everything you want in a boyfriend. It isn't long before fake becomes real. Lea is knocking it out of the park with the Wilde Brothers. Now we have a cousin ! I am loving this series.
Another solid addition to this series! Xander and Tori were best friends growing up and made a pact that if neither one was married or in a serious relationship by their 30th birthday, then they would get married. Tori breaks up with her long term boyfriend and moves back home. Xander is going through a crisis if his own. His brothers are demanding he get serious about the family business or he might not be there any longer. Tori and Xander decide to enter into a fake relationship to have the people in their lives take them more seriously. Their relationship was nice to watch unfold. I really enjoyed reading their journey to happiness!
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Tori and Xander was undeniable and sizzling. They were made for each other.
I loved how their fake engagement quickly had them both thinking over their feelings and wondering what if? Xander is such a great guy, and he was always thinking that he doesn’t deserve Tori, but she shown him that it’s far from the truth.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a fake engagement, small town, best friends to lovers romance then you’re going to love it.
Wild Promises is the fourth book in the Wilde Brothers series. This story features Xander, the fun and carefree Wilde brother. This is my favorite book trope - best friends to lovers in a fake relationship. Xander’s best friend, Tori, returns home and reminds him of a marriage pack they made to each other when they were younger. This was an enjoyable steamy, heartfelt romance. I loved their unexpected chemistry and how they navigated through their family's expectations, perceptions and discovering their own self worth and happiness. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I’ve loved reading Xander and Tori’s story and it’s a great addition to the Wilde Brother series. This is book 4 in the series but can be read as a standalone. As always with Lea’s books, it was beautifully written and well paced with a delicious slow burn. I was hooked from the start and couldn’t put it down.
I loved the chemistry between Xander and Tori, you could feel it simmering on the pages. I loved watching their friendship develop into something more than just a fake relationship, they both deserved their HEA. Both of them were likeable and easy to relate to. They’ve been in love with each other for as long as they’ve known each other but have never told the other one how they feel.
Overall a heartwarming passion filled story that I highly recommend you add to your tbr.
The fourth book in The Wilde Brothers series brings a best friend to lover romance to life. Known as the carefree and fun brother, Xander feels like his sibling doesn’t take him seriously. When his best friend Tori returns home them embark on a fake relationship that turns their world around. Will they be able to convince each other that it’s just temporary? One click to find out in this newest addition to the series that doesn’t disappoint. I love their heartfelt moments and their will to be together to prove that family expectations aren’t everything when you have the one on your side.
Another amazing and steamy Wilde story! I loved that Xander and Tori were best friends first. They made a pact when they were young that if neither of them were married by the time they were thirty that they would marry each other. Xander never thought Tori would remember it, let alone want to follow through with it. Now that she is home from New York after a recent breakup, Xander starts to think about that pact. It would help them both. Will something started out as pretend become real? Will Zander and Tori's dreams finally come true, or will insecurities and hesitation tear them apart?
Zander & Tori’s story is my favorite Wilde book so far!! There is so much more to Zander compared to how people perceived him & Tori had the faith in him no one else did. Once again you will experience all the feels, especially the emotions these two go through to prove themselves to their families. This author has once again written another heartwarming, heartfelt & heart breaking story that you will love and I highly recommend this book & series!! I’m looking forward to meeting Walker in the next book!! I voluntarily read for an honest review.
I have been seriously waiting not so patiently for this book! I knew this one was going to be worth the wait…and I wasn’t wrong. Tori and Xander made a promise to each other when they were seventeen years old. If they were not married by their thirtieth birthdays, they would marry each other. They have since both gone their separate ways. Tori a doctor in New York. Xander giving ski lessons at his family’s resort. When Tori ends up coming home these two both have the same problem. Tori’s dad doesn’t truly believe that she wants to take over his small town practice. Xander’s brothers don’t take him serious…at all…in all honesty they don’t respect him. So how do these two show everyone how serious they are about being responsible adults…a fake relationship of course! This was an adorable best friends to lovers read, because boy oh boy did these two belong together. They had fun banter and killer chemistry. I have to say I have been waiting for Xanders side of the story because I knew he wasn’t a slacker.. knew those brothers were not giving him enough credit. This family is extremely entertaining and this series does not disappoint. Each quick paced book brings another layer to this fun series. The characters bring it every single time and I’m already looking forward to reading the next book!!
These Wilde brothers are to die for. I totally loved Xander and Toris story in this besties to lovers fake romance. He truly was a sweetheart and it took Toris faith in him for everyone to see that he wasnt the quintessential playboy that everyone thought he was. I loved how their friendship blossomed from their trust in each other to falling in love. Definately an excellent addition to this series.
