Tengai-ya is a lonely place that exists behind a fog of strange and spooky rumors, and none who know the place wish to enter. But after his drunken father agreed to become its property manager, high school student Ryohei ventures beyond Tengai-ya's foreboding front gates. There, he will shed a little light upon its dark cloak of mysteries, and help a newfound friend repair the wrongs inflicted upon the world.
Got this out of the library. It's pretty typical magical-story fare, but still entertaining. The artwork is somewhere between Full Metal Alchemist and Oh My Goddess. I hope the library has more of the series.
It's a fantasy story telling of your usual high-school boy who suddenly gets chosen as one of the people who can enter Tengaiya, a place that is said to be full of mythical stuff. He then met this girl, coming out of a meteor, who has a mission to save the world(?)
The flow need a lot of work, bcs we dont see yet the urgency of 'saving the world' in this vol. 1. However, there are some interesting characters that you can root for in this book.
Picked this up in the library because there wasn't really anything else that interested me.
Not that great of a manga, enjoyable and easy to get through yes. But the story just wasn't quite right and didn't leave me feeling that i wanted to go out and get volume 2.
