Wow this is very dark on HEA? Not so much…. but this opens into a series so be prepped. The story is interesting and yes very messed up- but still a good hook! Things get a little confusing at the rave but it comes to a pinnacle and now need to continue to see what happens with the characters. DARK

Heartless is centred around two characters, Tokyo, our FMC, and Kai, our MMC, They are half siblings. Nothing could prepare you for the obsession they hold for each other. It's intoxicating. They are everything. This story is full of secrets... secrets that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It will keep you raving till the end.

The depth to Tokyo gives me chills, and i can’t wait to find out more about her and her big brother Kai. I’m sure there is much to uncover here, but what we do find out is SHOCKING! They are hot, obsessed, and ready to play the ‘game’. The world building here is something that will leave you gasping. It conjured up the most vivid picture in my head and had me walking through it with the characters.

This book! Just hit the spot. There is so much to unpack. It's a dark taboo that ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger. Let’s talk about this wild ride.


First off I love Tokyo. She is apologetic her. She gives two fucks. Expect one person in her life, Kai. Kai is just delicious. Both have a tragic backstory and the relationship is taboo. Why you ask? Well, you have read the book. To find out.

All is not what it seems and honestly, twists that I didn’t see coming. I had to lift my jaw off from the floor.

The author painted a vivid picture and captivated me from page one. I can't wait to see what happens next and how she is going to spin that shocker of a twist. On my dark scale, it’s medium grey.

Luna is the queen of horror and this is everything I was expecting and more! Kai has become an MMC crush with his bad boy, drag racer vibes and Tokyo has me feeling all kinds of ways. I felt the weight of her stresses, her need to escape, and her battle between what she wanted in life.

The rave itself was WILD! How her mind comes up with this stuff I’ll never know!

That ending had me literally screaming and I did NOT see it all coming.😫😂

I’m officially invested in this series and cannot wait for more.

Heartless by Luna Wicked is a dark romance novel. Wow what an ending. Let me first start with that. While it was it left you wondering it was definitely a wow ending! The plot was a well written dark romance. I really thought the characters were written in a way that really drew them out on the page. It made you as if you knew them and cared about them.

The main characters are Tokyo and Kai. The dynamics between these two keep you on your toes. All the push and pull. The story is loaded with chemistry and for some a touch of the forbidden. I enjoyed all of the twists and turns of their story.

The story was really good and I look forward to more.

Wow! This book was a rollercoaster ride. I never knew exactly where the story was going to go. All the secrets and lies. All the new shadowy characters. Call me intrigued and ready for more. I was not expecting the story to end like it did. I am still in shock and disbelief. I really hope there is more to this story. It cannot just end like that between Tokyo and Kai. Their relationship was spicey. I need more like right now. I was excited to see Xena and Roman again. I cannot wait till we get more from them. I just adore them.

Uhm, what happened OMG. This is a quick, smutty, angsty novella with plot twists you won’t see coming at all. Whew.
Tokyo is a bombshell, a girl who loves from the dark corners of her heart and will stop at nothing to protect those she loves. And oh boy, if that isn’t her best quality, but her d*mnation too. But as a baddie, I trust she will be even better in the upcoming book.
Kai, he’s so schmexy and while he’s the b a d boy who loves to race, I think he’s a softie lowkey ngl. But I love when a MMC is a softie for her only so it’s a win imo. I just want for him to finally feel whole.
Gosh, this is too good. And the visuals/descriptions/etc are so cool, very unique too.

This was so good! I was instantly hooked from the Prologue! Shit gets crazy real fast.
I loved the street racing and rave aspect of the book. As someone who used to go to street races with her husband and now attends raves with said husband, it's always fun to see those parts of our lives that we also enjoy, in a book.
This was fun, sexy, dark, and suspenseful with a hint of gore. I ate this shit right up.

Ooooh this was NIIIICCEEEEE!! Nothing gets me going better than a dark, taboo, 🩸 bath!! You’ve got Mr tall dark and handsome with tattoos and piercings and Miss spunky, hair colored, badäss in a taboo situationship that is followed very quickly by squid game meets The Most Dangerous Game… so good. A Valentine’s Day Rave turned deadly. This book was packed full of music, speed, lies and secrets. A rollercoaster of events and emotions that kept you begging for more. A drama filled tab00 that Luna nails every single time.

Tokyo is fierce, determined, and willing to fight for the one she loves. You can’t help but love her and her strength that she has.

Kai is that fiercer overprotective brother and kinda lover. He is guarded when Tokyo comes back because he left him and hurt him once before. He wants to keep her at arms length, but no one else can have her either.

The passion these two have for one another is electric. They shouldn’t want each other, but they both do. I couldn’t put this book down and wanted even more. And that ending…ahhhhh…what?! I am so excited to read the rest of this series.

i'm literally sat here like 😳 at the end.. that cliffhanger is not what i was expecting but oh my lord am i excited for the next installment in this series because it's just getting good i tell you that,the taboo,the thriller aspect of this... im obssesed,one minute i hated characters,then i loved them,then they were dead to me (lol ifykyk) & i think i passed away and blacked out at some point during this....

i never expected a good story in such a small amount of pages but the plot is mind blowing good,the actual STORY is what set luna apart as one of my new favourite authors to be honest,although very spicy & i mean i would 100% love for these scenes irl tbh because DAMN,if you loved masked men,taboo & lots of unaliving you are going to LOVE this so much✨🥹☠️🔪🩸

luna has written such an incredible story line & although i hated stacy pretty much through the whole thing,stupid bitch that she is,i loved everyone else,except lalo,he gives me sketchyyyy vibes but the BETRAYAL in this is what literally sent an arrow through my heart (ifykyk😜) floored i tell you and im not invested to reading every single book in this series because literally up there with one of the best thriller,dark ish romances ive ever read & the fact of its big brother & little sister is just my favourite tbh,don't hate the player hate the game,i love me some taboo,shame free here too,of course x

And let me tell you absolutely nothing could prepare me for the obsession they hold for each other. It's literally almost intoxicating. They are litterally everything. This story is jammed full of secrets... secrets that will definitely leave you on the edge of your seat. It will keep you raving till the end. I didn’t want this book to end and I was sad when it did.

The depth to Tokyo’s character literally gave me the chills, and i can’t wait to find out more about her and her big brother Kai. I’m sure with the secrets between them there is a lot we have to uncover about the half siblings. They are hot, obsessed, and ready to play the ‘game’. I have to say the world and character building is something that will leave you gasping. It conjured up the most vivid picture in my head and had me walking through it with the characters. And that is something I thoroughly enjoy in books when I can read something and picture the characters so openly and the world they are in. Oh my god I am quite literally addicted and I need more. Hello hello my girly girls!

I've never read a book with a Valentine's Day theme, this would be my first one, and there's nothing better than starting with something dark and forbidden.

So let's talk a little bit about it, it was definitely an interesting and an easy read. If I’m being honest at the beginning it was a little hard for me to see how everything was connected, but it wasn't so much because of the characters but rather because there were certain things, that made me wonder…Why? As the reading progressed, the tension between the characters advanced with it, to a point that I can only say WOW. I won't lie to you, I love a good tension and even more when we know it's something forbidden or improper.

As for the ending, when it comes to a Luna wicked book, she knows how to make it so that I always end up wanting more. I need to know Why the ending, and many other things that I won't tell you about because I don't like spoilers, though. Take note that for a short book I feel like the spicy and the plot had a perfect balance and the ending leaves you with your mouth open.

📍Do I recommend it?

Hell Yes!

If you're looking for a book for Valentine's Day, but maybe you don't want a soft romance but something darker or maybe you want a short book with unusual themes or even a little bit of what you might call Forbidden…This is the book for you! 🤭🤔

Well this book is a whirlwind. So many twists and turns your head will be spinning and you won't know which way is up but oh my goodness, this book is so good.
It starts off dark from the get go. Both the FMC and MMC have tragic backstories and you really feel for the characters. It is rather taboo but the story has you hooked. The FMC is chaotic, loves danger and is everything you'd expect from someone who hasn't processed their trauma. The MMC is very loyal, protective and such a sweet soul but at the same time also riddled with past trauma and chases a high to numb the pain. What I like about the way the author writes, is the fact a lot of her characters are at the stage of they have been through a lot and aren't quite ready to deal with their past. As someone who has been in that stage, it really helps me see just how much I have grown as a person and the sorts of behaviours I used to exhibit that I could have ended up much worse off than I actually did. This book as like with her other books, highlight the dangers people who don't process their trauma put themselves in and I love how raw it is and how no two people are the same. It makes them that much more real. And the plot twists are shocking, you do not see them coming so they hit you like a freight train. And that cliffhanger at the end, really leaves you needing to know what happens next. Another amazing story from the author. Look forward to seeing what comes next.

Another banger by Luna K. Wicked. Had me in the mist of trying to figure out everything when it came to Tokyo but I love her so much, she’s so precious to me. And of course we have our baby golden retriever Kai, never doubt that Luna will write a MMC that you’d like to be real for real. Right as I hit the 50% mark everything went haywire. The plot twist at the end had me shook like WHAT- Luna, me and you need to talk after this because how dare you do that to me. Do I highly recommend? YES! But of course do read the TW/CWs since this is dark read, happy reading!

Welp, Luna did it again. This book was another display of how talented Luna is as a writer. This one was less dark than the other books I’ve read of hers, and far more twisty. It’s still taboo. It’s still hella spicy. It’s more erotic thriller than anything but there’s some horror and some romance, it’s got it all. Within the first couple pages I was completely hooked and binge read this book in one sitting. I don’t know how she packed so much plot and so much spice in under 200 pages, but she did. And I GASPED and was kicking my feet at the end like whatttttttt HOW YOU GONNA DO US LIKE THAT!! I need more and I need it now.

While this book is definitely the first in a series, I am really glad I read Frozen Obsession first. I love a sneaky character crossover.

Way too many annotations for a novella, but here are a few favorites that won’t get me banned because I highlighted way too many spicy ones haha:

This book was AMAZING!!! Luna has done it again!! I have yet to read a book she’s written that I don’t love! This is short but filled with all the darkness and trauma, and just as taboo as her other books and definitely worth reading! There is street racing, clubs, mysterious men hiding in the shadows and over all just a WILD ride. It follows Tokyo and Kai. They are half siblings (or are they?). Tokyo has been away for the last five years when she does come back she brings a questionable past with her.! Kia is a racer and still lives in their father’s home. He is also very OBSESSED with his little sister. He was done for the moment he open his door and found Tokyo standing there finally back after 5 years of silence! And the Ending!!! That ending!! I can’t even put it in words!! Go read this book you’ll love it!!
