Shepherd Cries
The war between Heaven and Hell has ended… because Hell won.
The world lies in ruin. Ground has become ravine, mountains have inverted. The very blood of slaughtered Angels rains down from the sky. A black sun and crimson moon loom drearily.
Our narrator awakens from a deep slumber to find himself a shepherd of sheep; giant pink carnivorous ones. With time, he speaks to them and learns that Lucifer and his six kings of Hell rule in their Dominions between the remains of Heaven and Earth.
He also learns that he fought for Lucifer in the war - and was sentenced to Purgatory for it.
So our narrator asks What was his betrayal? How did it go so horribly wrong?
‘What was my name?’

Weird, but fun. Could have done with some serious editing/proofreading, though.
