Elara is a 17 year old human girl living with an uncle she knew nothing about. But don't worry, she turns 18 before anything sexual happens with the hero. She has a thing for all things dark, including death. She meets Rhett, a 200+ year old bisexual vampire, in the small town they both recently moved to. They fall for each other instantly but when the truth comes out about Rhett being a vampire, things come crashing down.
Fortunately, they find a way to be together. <3 The ending surprised me! I wasn't expecting it to end like that, lol. But it worked!
When it comes to Natalie Knight, I've come to expect high heat... but this novella didn't give that!! There's a few sexual things that happen in the book but the main characters don't have sex until the end and even then it's just one sex scene. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it's a cute paranormal novella and I enjoyed it.
