When she was in high school Damien Lewis had a huge crush on good looking, all-star hockey player, Kalen Coolidge, but he had no idea that she exists. Well until one night at the country club when he mistakenly thought she was his current girlfriend and made her feel incredible. But she knew it was only one moment in time, so she moved on with her life to a college in Boston where she stayed. She never imagined he would come back into her life years later at a local community theater. There was no denying the instant attraction especially after he came to her rescue one night. Sahara knew she was taking a chance when she took it to the next step.
Kalen had made it in hockey, he was now playing with the Boston Bucks NHL team and loved it. His love life though wasn’t around, he wasn’t ready for it and there was ghosts in his past. But the night he met and then “saved” Sahara he felt the connection between them. He takes a chance and goes after her even if it means not telling her everything. They each have their own secrets that they are hiding from one another. Will they be able to work it out or will the past break them apart forever?
This is the next book in the Boston Buck series and was a page turner right from the start. There is no question that their relationship is hot and spicy right from the start. Could not put it down until I got to the end and can’t wait until the next one. Cathryn has this way of catching your attention and holding on to it.

Me aburrió tanta escena sexual.
No me gustó cómo se le perdonó al padre de Kalen lo que hizo: su esposa tenía cáncer y estaba muriendo, y el pobrecito del hombre sufría tanto que metió a un hombre en la habitación de al lado (donde estaba su esposa) para tener sexo. Luego, cuando la señora murió, mandó a sus hijos lejos y se casó con Miles, el amante. El tamaño de traición que hizo, no solo le fue infiel a su esposa moribunda, sino que lo hizo en su casa, en la habitación de al lado, donde ella escuchó todo. Después se casó con él, ¿y se supone que eso merece perdón? Me molestó cómo todos le decían a Kalen que ya lo superara y perdonara a su padre, que aunque lo que hizo estuvo mal, debía entender que él también estaba sufriendo. Ese señor no merecía el perdón.

These two hide their baggage well! They start out for one, then decide to continue for fun, and of course, feelings grow. But we know that there is some things that haven’t been disclosed, and that tension plays against their relationship. We still love them though, and they are just so darn cute and perfect together. When it all falls apart, your heart breaks for them. When it all gets pulled back together, all the happiness for them <3

They went to high school together but traveled in different groups. But they were both aware of each other. Kaleb was the hockey hero already drafted by the Boston Bucks NHL team. Darien Lewis was a book nerd.
Fast forward to after college and the two are thrown together when Sahara as Darien is now going by her middle name is introduced to Kalen by his sister. She recognizes him immediately but though she seems familiar, he doesn’t place her!
Is this a chance to reinvent herself to be the woman she always wanted to be?
