This is my first Geri Krotow Harlequin book. I met Geri at a book signing and she is an accomplished woman who has led a really interesting life. Her military service lends itself well in this book with a former Marine leaving behind her military career and joining the family security and protection business. Pulled from her usual cybersecurity and investigative tasks to protect an accountant working for a lumber business, Willow finds herself in a situation where nothing is what it appears to be. Much of the book is dedicated to a romance, it is a Harlequin after all. Probably one of the better Harlequin books you’ll read.
