Soter Sara - per RFS
.

Haley & Wes have a special place in my heart. I love how their story began when they were in second grade. And how it grew with each year, even when they had to start over again. This story had so much love, pain, laughs and so much more. 💜

Haley West has only ever loved one guy and after breaking her young heart when he left to join the military, she struggled to put the pieces back together and carry on.
Wes Tanner’s heart belonged to Haley- it always had but now he was back from war, he faced his greatest battle- one he couldn’t afford to lose – because the prize was the only one that mattered and the fight was to win his girl back.
Young love had been kind to both Haley and Wes, they were devoted to each other throughout high school but when Haley discovered at the Prom that the love of her life had enlisted and neglected to let her know of his plans, she was devastated. How could he leave her – walk away and not have told her what he was up to?
The years may have passed and life has worn them both well but sometimes a broken heart is just not meant to heal. When Wes returns, the feelings are back for them both but is it too late?
Tortured by the events that he has suffered whilst on tour with the military, only one thing will sooth his tortured soul and that is the prospect of his happy ever after with Haley but plagued by doubts, Haley knows that she can love Wes again – hell, she never really stopped but can she trust him not to break her heart?
The end result was never in doubt for this pair, it was pretty well destined from the first page
I loved the path Haley and Wes took us on, their journey while not exactly angst filled – was not straight forward. They both had to learn to trust and move forward, recriminations aside – the love they had shared as youngsters stood them in good stead for a their life together.
Haley’s sisters and their families are present again in this book and it was good to catch up with them.

Haley has only ever loved one boy. She and Wes had been an item since they were very young and while in high school, they were devoted to each other and she just knew that they would get married and live happily ever after. Wes must have felt the same way as she did though otherwise he wouldn’t have enlisted without telling her, right? He broke her heart and as she struggled to put it back together. Six years and she never heard from him but now he’s back and she isn’t sure if she can trust him not to break it all over again.

Wes Tanner had only ever loved one girl but after a scare that caused him to rethink their relationship, he made a drastic decision. One that cost him the only girl that he had ever loved. Now that he’s back, he didn’t even have to see her to know that he was still in love with Haley. She’s all that he’s thought about. Can he convince her that he made the right decision so that she will take him back? He’s determined to not take no as answer.

Haley West is the youngest sister and it was her story that I had wanted to read the most. She had always intrigued me because she always seemed to have a secret side. She had always been funny and poked fun at her sisters when she caught them doing something with their boys. I liked the book and even though it didn’t live up to my expectations, I couldn’t help but to give it 4 stars because the series in a whole was amazing and you get to see what’s happened with Alex and Lauren.

New Beginnings!!!

Haley West and Wesley Tanner had a beautiful friendship and romance growing up.....The former always thought that she and the latter would get married but when Wes enlisted in the army after their graduation... Things have never been the same between them again.

Haley locked her heart away the day Wes left for the army, it took her years to finally go out with someone other than Wes and she started seeing Tom Blake. Wes came back to Fairplay with one mission in mind to win Haley back no matter what.

Wes had some nightmares regarding the tragedy that befell him and his army brothers, Haley was able to help through them....no matter how much Haley loved Wes she just couldn't put herself in that position again of getting hurt by him which is understandable. It took some time and lot of work for Haley was able to trust Wes again.

At the end of the day, Wes and Haley was able to start something new and stronger than what they had in the past.

P.S Loved how Haley was able to get over her fear of storms in order to get herself and her nephew Ricky to safety.

When Haley has something in her mind not even Wes can stop his woman, "then his hands were over her, roaming over her skin as she yanked his shirt open, sending his buttons flying in all different directions. "Haley, my god," he gasped, trying to slow her down. But she needed speed. She needed him now." Wes is the type of guy that doesn't like to be far away or just plain away from his woman, "but tomorrow, you're coming home with me for good." He smiled. "I don't want more than one night without you by my side." I enjoyed reading this book, thank goodness all the books in the series are about different characters and are stand alones because I haven't read the other two in the series yet.

I liked the other 2 books in this series but this one I didn't care too much about. Why is it that in most romance novels the man walks away and eaves for years then comes back and expects everything to be the same. Why is it that these women just wait around for years for these guys and not be in any realationships while he's out doing whatever with who knows who. I'd like to read a romance novel with a stronger female character instead of some woman who would wait her whole life for some man to get his crap straight.

Haley has loved Wez since forever, then out if nowhere he joins the military and leaves her alone.
She's broken hearted and it takes her a long time to pull herself together...
Then just as she moves on, in walks Wez.
Wez has regretted leaving the love of his life, since the day he left and has on goal.. To get her back where she belongs..
Right by his side.. But it won't be easy, he knows it's going to take everything he has and even then, he's not sure he's going to succeed..
My heart broke for Haley, Jill pulls at your heartstrings in this book..

Great romance!!! loved it!! was great to finally finish all the personal stories of the west sisters!! I can't wait to see what the other books in the west series have to offer!! but these first three defiantly set the bar high! there were some guilty pleasure parts, and some parts could of done with out. but a great romance. I rally liked how jill sanders used the war in Afghanistan in this book! I have a little bit of a thing for men in uniform. but I liked how she did show the repercussions that can happen to the men that fight for our country! overall a great romance book!

This was the first book I have read by Mrs. Sanders and I am hooked. Even though this was book 3 in a series I was able to read as a stand alone which I liked. When trust is broken can it ever be repaired? Wes broke Haley's heart years before and now he returns to win her back. Can Haley forgive Wes and give him a second chance or will circumstances beyond their control keep them apart forever?

Another great story in the West Series --- Haley's first and only love was Wes. At age 17 after a pregnancy scare Wes left for the Army and never kept in touch. Only Haley found out the day before he was leaving. Fast forward to 6 years later and Wes returns home injured but ready to get Haley back becasue he realized what he had and lost. Great story about how growing up makes alot of difference and how first love can impact a life.

Haley and Wes loved each other since 2nd grade. However, after high school, Wes joined the military and left Haley with many unanswered questions. Upon Wes' return from the service, he wants to pick up where they left off and Haley is very hesitant. It's a very sweet, romantic read. I love how the series continues on with the sister's lives as well. The story covers many emotions and obstacles - but luckily, love conquers all! Received from author in return for honest review.

Good read

This book has less drama than the first two and no mystery, just one big tornado and lots of emotional concerns. The hero is sexy and a hunk back home from war. The heroine is trying finally trying to break out and forget after 6 years. Then they collide and the game is on. Recommend.

Another great read, but this one lacked a little. Coming back from the war sometimes have traumatic effects on people. I expected a little more drama from Wes, the way you described his nighmare, the things that happened to him. I expected more from that. Not just a few nightmares and throwing a cane and not wanting to take meds. Other than that the story was great.

This is book 3 in the series and follows the last sister, Hayley, and Wes her best friend since second grade.

This story looked at the issue of trust in a relationship. The dynamics in this story are different than the first two books in the series.

Parts of this story made me tear up, giggle and question. I love how these stories and this town are playing out. Jill is a genius.

Oh I love the West sisters! I love that in each book that I've read I also got to see what was going with the other two girls! Haley's story was no different. I love reading the love she has for her sisters and of course her animals. Also love seeing her with her high school sweetheart. Haley and Wes's story was so beautiful. I loved it!

This is a super sweet with a touch of steamy, cowboy series. There was a little suspense and drama and a lot of romance. This is the third book of the series a must read.
