All it took was one phone call and my life changed forever. I left Alpine Peak twelve years ago with no intentions on coming back. The plan was to pay my respects to my father, mend my relationship with my mother and get back to the city. I never expected to reconnect with the boy I used to baby sit as a teenager, run into my crazy ex-boyfriend and find the person who killed my father in a hit and run accident. I had no idea that the worst night of my life would lead to me never wanting to leave.
DECLAN
It was just another normal day until she walked past me on the street. My childhood crush. I hadn’t thought of her in at least a decade. One interaction with her and I couldn’t focus on anything else. She was the perfect escape from reality. Not even the downward spiral my brother was on could distract me from getting closer to her. She left all of those years ago without looking back but this time I’d make sure she stuck around.
Nicole Kennedy has spent most of her life living in Phoenix Arizona but always dreamed of trading the hot desert for the fresh, cold mountain air. Now residing in Northern Colorado with her husband and three dachshunds she’s fully dove into her dream of being an author. You can find her writing heartwarming stories with a touch of sadness and a whole lot of spice at her favorite coffee shop. When she isn’t writing or reading her favorite romance novels she’s probably eating wings, tacos or pizza while watching hockey.
I enjoyed this debut novel! Set in a small town with a touch of suspense, it beautifully explores themes of grief and loss. When Paige receives the heartbreaking news that her dad has passed away in an accident, she returns home after 12 years away. There, she reconnects with Declan, the boy she used to babysit—now a charming 25-year-old, and their chemistry is undeniable. Things take an interesting turn when Paige’s ex starts bothering her, and Declan steps in as her fake boyfriend to help her.
Paige is such a strong, independent woman. She left her hometown at 18 and didn’t return until her father's sudden death. She's always been the one who held everything together, taking care of her brother and mother while pretending she doesn’t need anyone. But underneath, she has a softer side and longs for someone to lean on. Declan, on the other hand, is just the sweetest guy with a loving family and a promising career. When he sees Paige again, he falls for her hard. I loved how protective he was! Gradually, he helps her feel safe enough to open up and rely on him.
Their relationship develops so wonderfully throughout the story. Both characters face their challenges, but they work through them together, which is heartwarming to see. There’s also an intriguing mystery that kept me on my toes. The raw emotions and struggles that both Paige and Declan experience make their journey feel so relatable. The strong themes of friendship and family ties added a lovely warmth to the book!

First and foremost, thank you Nicole, for making me cry now twice reading your book. Being able to read Final Goodbye as a beta reader and now an ARC reader I must say is such a wonderful opportunity. Especially when the book, the plot, the characters is all so damn good. Declan and Paige had me smiling, giggling, gasping and crying throughout the book. It was so easy to fall in love with both of them.
After 12 years, Paige goes back home to Alpine Peaks after finding out her father has tragically passed away. She was nervous about being back in the small town, but it didn’t even cross her mind that she would come face to face with Declan, who she used to babysit.
The real life emotions throughout this book I feel like made the story even better. We have loss of a parent, parent/child relationship, addiction, just to name a few.
Declan is forever my favorite book boyfriend moving forward. His personality, his character, his good looks, his loving attitude, and his protectiveness blows any other book bf out of the water. Paige is also my favorite FMC known to man. She’s kind, she’s loving, she’s hardworking, and honestly she’s a badass.
If you’re looking for - Small town romantic suspense - No third act break up - Fake dating - He falls first - OPEN DOOR SPICE 🥵 - Age gap (she’s is older) - Grief & healing This should be your top read of 2025, and forever.
P.s. I am SCREAM CRYING that I was mentioned in the acknowledgments 🥹 thank you for allowing me to be apart of your debut novel! I am forever proud of you girlie 💜
I never thought I would be lucky enough to be a beta reader. I remember when my girl @nicolekennedyauthor was throwing around the idea of writing a book, and I was asking her a bunch of questions because I want to write one too. Now here we are, months later, and her story is freakin amazing. Thank you for letting me apart of your writing journey, you have out done yourself. I honestly believe this book should be on everyone’s shelves when it comes out.
With that being said, Final Goodbye will be out on March 25th. This book contains your newest book boyfriend 🤍
I will update this review once we get closer to the release date, BUT MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!
This was just such a miss for me. There was zero character development for either of the MC’s. The MMC had no storyline other than being obsessed with the FMC. Everything felt like a forgotten plot point. The whole book was told to me, there was no ‘showing’. The dialogue was awkward at best, and cringey at worst. I kept seeing this book, and people talking about the spice, but I really didn’t like those scenes either. There were a lot of paragraphs that were so redundant it felt like the author was trying to hit a word count by repeating herself in slightly different ways. The ‘twist’ was obvious from the beginning. I REALLY didn’t like that the ‘villain’ was the villain because he had BPD. It felt like a cheap dig at an already marginalized group for no apparent reason. There were a lot of heavy topics in this book. Death, drunk driving, BPD and none of them were handled with any sort of care. The whole thing was just an overall miss in my opinion.
Nicole wrote a side of grief that I've never read before in a way that from personal experience, I know you just can't write it this deep, and at this level without having experienced it yourself. I can't explain how healing it was to read about a character who felt this complex side of grief and i don't think I'll ever be able to thank the author enough for that, your story made me feel less alone.
Final goodbye is full of emotion and has this mystery element that will have you unable to put it down.
Alpine peak was such a charming small town setting with an even more charming MMC.
The way he was her best friend and her comfort while also being so protective and possessive. Not to mention the girls' night he set up! ✨️SWOON✨️ Also, I'm trying to keep this spolier free, but two words: Maple syrup🥞
Final Goodbye was such a fun and addictive read! I loved the characters! They felt so real and relatable, and it was refreshing to see the representation of a genuinely healthy relationship at the heart of the story. The spice was absolutely piping hot (seriously, 🔥🔥🔥), but it never overshadowed the emotional depth between the characters.
The pacing was perfect: a fast start that hooked me from the very first page and kept me flying through the chapters. It’s one of those books you don’t want to put down, and before you know it, you’ve finished. If you’re looking for something steamy, swoony, and full of heart, this one is definitely worth picking up!
I absolutely loved this book! I loved the relationship between Declan and Paige the development between the two was so natural. The spice was spicing and Declan’s dirty mouth was fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The Final Goodbye should definitely be added to your TBR! Can’t wait for the next one!!!
Declan and Paige had me dreaming about Alpine Peak and the Cooper boys 🥰
I love a small town romance + fake dating story. You could think that after a while they all start to resemble one another, but Nicole managed to spin a fresh story with a unique fake dating tie-in. Her relatable characters set in a small town scene, encountered real life emotional moments and heartwarming connections. Such a brilliant start to her writing career, plus a wonderful start to this duology 💞
This dual POV had me feeling tense, gasping and almost crying from the start. But I soon was grinning & giggling the more Paige her story developed with protective, kind & sweet-talking Declan capturing her (and my) heart. Declan is exactly what the best book-boyfriends are made off !!
Kinda figured that someone from the side-characters would be involved in her dad’s accident, but oh my .. I did not see that twist coming at all. High suspense levels for sure. 🌲 Can’t wait to return to Alpine Peak to dive into Myles and Sophie’s story !
Big thanks to Nicole Kennedy for a chance to read this ARC of her debut novel
✨A Stunning Romance Filled with Heart, Healing, and Small-Town Charm! ✨
“Final Goodbye” is everything I didn’t know I needed in a small-town contemporary romance! From the very first page, I was completely swept up in Declan and Paige’s journey—a story that perfectly balances sweet, steamy, and deeply heartfelt moments.
Paige is a heroine you’ll root for from the start—strong, layered, and carrying the weight of her past with grace. Her journey of healing and self-discovery is beautifully written, and Declan? Oh, Declan. He’s younger, yes, but his maturity and quiet devotion make him the perfect counterpart to Paige. Watching him fall first and hard will have you clutching your chest and grinning like a fool.
The book doesn’t shy away from deeper topics, either. The therapy representation is both honest and refreshing, giving weight to the characters’ struggles while showing the importance of healing. Paige’s grief and Declan’s patient understanding add a layer of authenticity that had me rooting for their happy ending even more.
And let’s not forget the town of Alpine Peak itself—it’s practically a character in its own right! It’s the kind of place you’ll wish you could visit (or move to). 🏔️🍻🎶
Highly recommend for anyone who believes in small-town magic, and love that feels like home. 5 stars aren’t enough!
I really liked this! It was such a good, solid debut! I love a small town romance (I mean, who doesn’t?) + a wee suspense element .. it hit all the spots!
Paige is returning home after 12 years away, following the death of her father. She’s hoping to reconnect with her mother and younger brother, whilst dealing with her own grief and trying to hold up everyone else, too.
Enter Declan Cooper, the boy? (Man?) she used to babysit … he was such a sweetheart and really fell tits over ass for Paige. I loved the way their relationship developed. They both had their own personal things they were working through, but their open communication and honesty made them come out stronger on top! Their chemistry was insane, and I loved the switch Declan made.. a gentleman on the streets, and filthy in the sheets is the perfect way to describe him!
The suspense element was done well, and I thought the author focussed on the grief / healing process well; its not all linear and everyone does it differently. I feel like these characters were super relatable, their journeys and the way they worked through them. I also really liked the friendships made here too. I’m excited to read Sophie and Myles’ story, soon!
This was fantastic! I just finished my ARC of this and wow!!! It gave me all the feels, the swooning, kicking of my feet, the laughing out loud, the tears, and of course the spice was spicing 🌶
I fell in love with Paige and Declan right from the start, this story was just so good!!!
I loved this story! I truly ate it up in less than 24 hours! I can’t believe this was Nicole’s debut?! The writing was so good.
I really was just sucked into their story and this world. Paige was seriously so relatable in many ways, and I loved how strong she was but also how she allowed Declan in and never pushed him out. Also, Declan??? I swooned HARD over this man!! I’m obsessed with him and everything about his character. The emotions that were pulled out of me reading this.. I was on a bit of a rollercoaster there but I loved every second of it!
And the spice? 🫠 I’ll always love a ‘spit on it’ moment but when she says it??? GIMME ME
Small Town Romance Fake Dating Age Gap (she’s older) Grief/Healing He Falls First No Third Act Breakup
📖 Final Goodbye by @nicolekennedyauthor 📍Colorado • Age Gap (she’s older - 5 yrs) • Small Town Romantic Suspense • Grief & Healing • He Falls First • Fake Dating • Open Door Spice • Crazy Ex-Boyfriend
Paige comes home after 12 years of being away after receiving the news that her father passed away. She’s nervous of running into her past but was not prepared to run into Declan, who she used to babysit. With thoughts of staying home to rebuild relationships with her family Declan has her dreaming of things she’s written off. He also comes in clutch when her past comes barreling towards her.
Declan has it all. A supportive close knit family, a career in the family business and his dream home, but there he’s not without his own battles. He’s a protector through and through. He never thought he’d see his childhood crush again and now that he has he will do anything to keep her home.
This book had me from the beginning and still hasn’t let me go. Nicole’s scene development was stunning. I could literally visualize being right there with the characters. The real life vivid emotions, y’all… loss, addiction, struggles with losing a parent, parent/child relationship, and so more, these emotions were so beyond real and portrayed exceptionally.
Oh and the communication and self recognition!! Can we take a moment to just take a breath and appreciate the heart to hearts. *chef’s kiss!*
Also, Myles and Sophie… 🥰 I know it’ll be heartbreakingly beautiful and I can’t wait! And let’s not forget about the twist!! Or french toast 😉
This is a story I will read over and over again. I keep thinking I need to go read Nicole’s backlog and then remember this is her DEBUT NOVEL. Y’all, she’s a must read author! She holds nothing back!
This book comes out March 25th and you need to add it to your TBR now!
A single phone call sendes Paige back to her hometown of Alpine Peak for the first time in 12 years. With the sole intent to pay respects to her father, Paige never expected to reconnect with a boy that she used to babysit in her teenage years or find out family secrets that were hidden from her. Declan is equally taken aback by seeing his childhood crush and that one interaction makes Paige his sole focus; a distraction from the downward spiral his younger brother is currently on. Paige doesn't want to stay and Declan wants to make sure he's a reason that she stays.
From the first chapter, this book had captured my heart and never let go as our FMC, Paige, found out that her father had tragically passed away. This heartbreaking news reflected a similar call that I received when I lost my own mother and father years ago during college, leading me to somber homecomings. Paige is so strong of a character; being resourceful, hardworking, and leading with a big heart. However, she does have a softer side and wanting someone to lean on. You could feel how nervous she was about coming back to her hometown, especially finding some loose ends that she didn't think were dangling. But she gets through them with some help from friends and a green flag MMC.
Declan's character, personality, attitude all make him a strong male character. He is protective of those closest to him and Paige is instantly added to that list after their unexpected reunion. Declan is not without his flaws, but he handles them in such a mature way that he doesn't let his darkness take him over. He becomes exactly what Paige needs, helping her feel safe enough to open up and let him help her through her struggles. Both characters work through their challenges, which was heartwarming to see.
Nicole Kennedy wrote such an amazing book with strong characters who I can't wait to reunite with and a great plot that is expertly written. The depth of real-life emotions - including loss of a parent, parent/child relationship, addiction, grief - made this story better as the reading continued. Declan and Paige had me smiling and laughing from start to finish. It was so easy to fall in love with them and watch their story unfold. I look forward to the next book in the series!
Drop what you’re doing and add this to your TBR immediately!
Final Goodbye has everything you could possibly need in a romance! Set in the beautiful mountains of Colorado-the story of Declan and Paige had me captivated from the beginning. Nicole was able create a story where I not only can perfectly visualize the picturesque setting of Alpine Peak but eloquently bring the characters and their story to life. A raw telling of finding love after loss, conquering inner demons, discovering strength when all seems lost, and displaying vulnerability-laying it all on the line in the name of love.
The FMC, Paige, has found herself back in the smalltown she willfully escaped from over a decade ago. The sudden death of her father brought her back temporarily but it was the unexpected love she found that had her staying. I love Paige and how she was able to navigate the loss of her father and find happiness in all that Alpine Peak had to offer.
Declan, the MMC, had me swooning the entire time. His sweet, thoughtful, and protective demeanor was one thing, but his panty dropping one liners and his way around the kitchen has me MELTING.
Highly recommend Final Goodbye for your next small town romance! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry your eyes out, you’ll be blushing like crazy and smiling like a fool.
Out 3/25!
Tropes ❤️reverse age gap ❤️small town romance ❤️he falls first ❤️plot twists ❤️grief/healing ❤️he likes to eat ❤️protective MMC ❤️fake dating ❤️no third act breakup
I cannot even express how much I ADORED this book. First of all, its author, Nicole Kennedy, took a risk on this simple bookstagramer, and sent me a print copy, which is NOT cheap for indie authors. And I’m SOOOOO glad she did because it is a book that I will be thinking about for a LONGGGGGG time.
These characters are ones you want to root for, be actual friends with, and never say goodbye to. (Pun not intended…sort of 😆) They are kind, they are loyal, and they will SLAY for those they love.
The MCs, Paige and Declan are simply the best. Paige returns to her hometown after finding out her dad was killed in a hit and run. They have the cutest of meet-cutes where you find out Paige used to babysit Declan, and his younger brother Myles. (However, further into the book, you find out she’s only 5 years older than him.)
What’s ever BETTER about that is that I LITERALLY have a friend who married a boy she used to babysit and she’s 5 years older than him. FOR REAL. (Of course I had to tell her ALL about this book!! 😉)
LOTS of other fun and shenanigans ensue, and in the end I found myself grinning and giggling. This amazing book NEEDS to be more hyped because it’s SOOOOOOOOO stinkin good!!!
Now onto book 2, Final Temptation!!! Thanks again Nicole for trusting me with your precious characters and words, this book was AMAZING and I will be reading EVERYTHING you write until Kingdom come. ☺️☺️☺️
I was lucky to be on Nicole’s Beta Team and now reading her ARC is just amazing!! I had so much fun reading her debut novel, I still can’t believe that Final Goodbye is really her first book. SO GOOD!!
Paige returned to her hometown because of a tragic loss in her family, back home she runs into Declan who she used to babysit back in the days.
The story line feels so relatable, the characters have amazing personalities - I really hold them close to my heart. The way Nicole sets the scene makes you feel like beeing right there with the characters in Alpine Peak 🥹 The most emotional setting and chapter was chapter seven for me. My heart hurt so much for Paige and I was bawling my eyes out!!
Paige has such an amazing character development and Declan is a Golden Retriever boyfriend with a sailors mouth🥵
All in all Final Goodbye has the right amount of emotional heart break, banter and spice 🔥🧇 You also get to meet amazing side characters which make you want to dive right into the next book! (I can’t wait for book number two!!)
5/5 ⭐️
𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 - he falls first - age gap - small town romance - fake dating - spice - protective mmc
@nicolekennedyauthor I am so proud of you and your debut novel! I am so happy I got to be a part of your journey 🥹💕
Nicole knocked it out of the park with this debut novel! This story had me hooked from Chapter One.
Paige temporarily moves back to Colorado after the unexpected death of her father. She's trying to navigate this loss, being back home, taking care of her mother and brother, while figuring out what's next for her.
Declan falls hard and fast when he runs into Paige, his old babysitter. He is a sweet golden retriever of a man, and I loved how raw he was with his feelings. His protectiveness over her will have you swooning just as much as his dirty mouth and kind gestures. The banter, tension, and spice between these two were SO good! I'll never look at maple syrup the same way again 🥵
I wasn't expecting the twist this book took. It was emotional, suspenseful, and just an all-around amazing small-town romance. I can't wait for what I hope is Myles and Sophie's story in book two!
▪️Small town ▪️Romantic suspense ▪️Fake dating ▪️Reverse age gap ▪️He falls first ▪️Grief & healing ▪️No third act breakup
Final Goodbye by Nicole Kennedy is an emotionally charged romance that blends mystery and personal growth. Paige returns to her hometown of Alpine Peak after twelve years to settle family matters, only to reconnect with Declan who she used to babysit as a teenager. What starts as a brief visit quickly turns into a journey of healing and rediscovery as the two confront their shared past and the tragic death of Paige's father.
The relationship between Paige and Declan is the heart of the story. Declan's persistence and support help Paige open up about her past and their chemistry grows as they work through their emotional baggage. Their bond deepens not just as a romance, but as a partnership that allows them to heal together. Declan's unwavering support and Paige’s vulnerability make their relationship both heartwarming and real.
Final Goodbye is a heartfelt captivating read. The romance between Paige and Declan is a touching reminder that sometimes returning to the past can lead to unexpected yet meaningful new beginnings.
Wow, just wow. This book was everything I needed — heartache, healing, and love all wrapped into one beautiful story. It was absolutely perfect. I adored Declan and the way he loved Paige so fiercely. His unwavering devotion, patience, and the way he stood by her side through her grief completely stole my heart. Watching Paige navigate her pain while Declan supported her every step of the way was so emotional and beautifully written. Their bond felt so real, and I loved that no matter what they faced, they chose each other — no third-act breakup needed.
Nicole’s writing was phenomenal. She captured every emotion so vividly — the heartbreak, the healing, and the love — it all felt so authentic and raw. Nicole, you’re a queen for creating these unforgettable characters and a story I didn’t even know I needed, but now can’t imagine being without. This book will stay with me for a long time!
Final Goodbye wraps you up like your favorite hoodie—only it smells like a rugged mountain man and whispers flirty one-liners that’ll short-circuit your brain. Set against the stunning backdrop of Alpine Peak, Colorado, this story delivers grief, growth, gossip, fake dating, and enough sexual tension to steam up your glasses.
Paige returns home after her dad’s passing, planning to settle affairs and dip out—until she runs into Declan. The boy she used to babysit is now 25, hot as sin, and has zero chill about how much he wants her. Fake dating quickly turns into real feelings, and whew… the slow burn? Delicious.
What really shines is the emotional depth. Nicole weaves loss, family drama, and healing into a story that still finds room for laughter, longing, and love that feels real. You’ll swoon, sniffle, and smile through every page.
Oh my goodness gracious, this can’t be Nicole’s debut book because - THIS BOOK! I adored this book and the roller coaster of emotions I endured to get to the end!
If you love books that keep you guessing, then this one is definitely for you!
Paige has come home after her dad has unexpectedly passed away. As she is trying to make sense of her emotions, she runs into Declan. Sparks fly, and even though they are “fake dating” for her benefit, it’s way more than that.
I want to tell you more, I want to shout to the world everything that takes place in this book, but I can’t. I want you to read it and fall in love with it too! I am now going to wait impatiently until book 2 graces my kindle.
Until then, if you love 🏔️ He falls first 🏔️ Romantic suspense, with a twist you don’t see coming 🏔️ Reverse age gap 🏔️ Crazy ex-boyfriend 🏔️ Protective MMC who says “baby girl”
I am so sad to be done with the Final Goodbye! From the first chapter I was immediately hooked and couldn’t stop reading it!It was one of those books that had you thinking about it when you weren’t reading it. I couldn’t stop thinking about it!
Paige is headed back to her small town home to help take care of her family and reconnects with Declan. I absolutely loved Declan and the way that he cared for Paige. He was protective and so supportive of Paige and what she was going through. The mystery/suspense was such a great aspect to the story and really kept me engaged.
This was such a great debut novel! I cannot wait to see what Nicole Kennedy writes next!
𝐼𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒… - Small Town Romance - Fake Dating - Age Gap - Fake Dating - Suspenseful Twist - No Third Act Break Up - All the Feels
First of all, I just want to say a big congratulations on your debut novel. I am so thankful to have received an arc and watch your journey as a new and upcoming author. 🫶🏼
I was excited to dive into the small town of Alpine Peak. I loved the dynamic and growth between Declan and Paige. There was always something to keep me reading. I love myself some suspense and mystery in a good romance book. I had to know what happened that night! It had me on a roller coaster of emotions.
Declan. Declan. DECLAN. My book boyfriends list just keeps getting bigger and bigger. 🥹
It was the perfect amount of romance, banter, spice, and suspense.
- Dual POV - Small Town - Age Gap - Fake Dating - He Falls First - Grief & Healing
So freaking proud of my friend for writing her first book!!! A story about finding love and healing in the midst of an unspeakable tragedy, this was an emotional journey from start to finish. I loved how our FMC was strong while still being vulnerable, and how supportive and tender the MMC was. Their relationship felt refreshingly healthy and non-toxic.
And the spice? Pure 🔥🔥🔥.
I will say I think I'm even more excited for the two side characters that are getting their love story in book two -- their dynamic in this book already had me giggling maniacally, so I just know I'm going to EAT IT UP. 😍
A small town romance with a lot of realistic life issues. Declan and Paige will forever hold a piece of my heart, together they will maybe rule the world? 😇 it’s nice to see an age-gap the other way around (she is older).
If you want to meet the sweetest guy ever, say hello to Declan. Maybe a golden retriever, but don’t let it fool you 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This author was a hidden treasure, I am definitely gonna read the next book in this serie💜
What a beautiful emotional roller coaster. Declan is a man women can only dream of. The spice was great- that man’s mouth 🥵Jesus… def had me blushing… and he’s younger 🫣 ughhh lawdddd Jesus. loved the story development, the character development, the plot twist, the self growth the independence and the found friendship and family healing that came with this story. Such a beautiful read.
My hands gripped the steering wheel as I cranked up the radio, blaring Animals by Nickelback through my truck speakers.
I was selected to be an ARC reader for this book and am so grateful for the opportunity!
I’m not exactly sure how I feel after reading this. I will preface this with “not every books is for everyone” and maybe that’s the case with this one for me. I will also add to that in sharing my own father passed away 8 years ago (albeit under very different circumstances) so I might be viewing this from a very different POV than other readers.
One of my main issues with the book is it felt like there was a lot of telling and not a lot of showing. There are huge chunks of exposition especially between the two main characters with long monologues that get a little repetitive. It didn’t feel as layered as it could have been and because of that I kept getting pulled out of the story. Even with the twist in the last part, it never really felt like high stakes? Yes her ex was unhinged and stalking her but I wish had been more of an active threat? He felt like a forgotten plot point for a lot of it?
I also really wanted more depth to Declan. He’s the perfect book boyfriend but I didn’t understand his ‘why’ or his motivation. He seemed to have lived a lot of life by 25 living in a small town but you never really understand that history. The zero to 100 possessiveness threw off the pacing in the book and I never understood the anger he had?
Additionally, and again this is my personal opinion and I am not here to yuck someone’s yum, but I can’t handle it when the romantic interest calls their partner ‘baby girl’ or ‘baby’ repeatedly. Like multiple times on the same page. It pulls me out of the scene immediately but again, that’s just my opinion.
It’s an entertaining story and I’m glad I read it. It does show that people grieve in a multitude of ways and there isn’t a right or wrong approach but that it’s important to have people you can rely on. But overall this book just wasn’t for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Cute and fun while it talked about loss and grief and honestly also betrayal. HEA for sure. And I am always here for age gap stories 🥰🥰🙌🏼✌🏼 It’s a fantastic debut novel I would totally read again! Thank you 🥰✨
