I finally got my cake, and no one will stop me from eating it!

Famous last words? Probably.
Honestly though, after all the battles, all the loss, and all the heartache, I finally have what I’ve always wanted. A place to belong. I found my people, my home, and even someone who loves me without a magical bond.
Sounds to me like I get to eat the cake.
Until the Elemental Council comes up with a devious plan to put Neònach in her place once and for all. All they need is someone to be the bait for their trap.
I can’t imagine who that’ll be.

I love to read almost any genre. While the most popular authors continue to thoroughly entertain us, I've found some of my favorite series have come from new authors. My all-time favorite has to be Ben Hale's, Chronicles of Lumineia, along with all the side stories that go with it. A very close second is Michael Manning's, Mageborn Series. I've found several gems within some of the Anthologies I've purchased. One of these introduced me to Michael Ploof's, Whill of Agora Series, which kept me reading for weeks.
Of course, I'll always enjoy one of Robert Jordan's new releases or a re-read of Elizabeth Peter's, Amelia Peabody Series. But it thrills my reading soul to find a new and interesting twist, such as Kel Kade's, King's Dark Tidings or Donna Augustine's, Karma Series.

This incredible conclusion to Yvette Bostic’s Call of the Elements urban fantasy was completely and utterly epic!

Our heroine is the extremely powerful Alisandra, otherwise known as AJ. She’s bold and snarky, but she’s also genuinely kindhearted and compassionate.

AJ has honestly grown so much over the course of the series, and no spoilers, but I was actually really happy with how her story ended.

This world is so unique, and that’s a huge part of the reason why I love escaping to it. I’m feeling bittersweet now that the series is over, but I’m glad I gave it a chance!

I received an advance copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters were all very relatable and AJ’s inner dialogue felt very realistic. I loved that we got to see her doubts in her own abilities and power, and I felt that the magic system in the story was really unique. I would have liked to see more of it.

I felt that the last few chapters were a little anticlimactic, but overall the story was very well done and the ending was all the good vibes.

I am a bit biased as I helped with the proofreading of this last book, but I loved how it all came together! I find sometimes in long fantasy series that are building to a final showdown that it can feel anticlimactic as it comes to a head too quickly. I did not find that here. I think she did a good job of not making it easy on the characters, but not dragging it out also. The inclusion of the last chapter of the previous book at the start was inspired, I have never seen that before but I appreciated it as a reader.

Another home run with this book. It is an amazing continuation of the last book. It is like you are still reading the last book. I highly recommend this book and series. I had problems putting it down.

GET READY FOR THE AJ STORY!

Written with an easy flow to transition of story line imagery and perceptions.
Throughout, strong emotional portrayal from unknowns to love underwritten.
Characters are written through raw grit.!
I look forward to reading more in the future, from Yvette Bostic.!

“Alisandra!” Lodron’s panicked scream was the last thing I heard before Zane and all my friends disappeared.”

Finally we are at the end of this series, and maybe poor Alisandra can rest. LOL! This series ender is filled with betrayals, secrets, love, friendship and so much more. We get to see how they are finally rid of the baddie, and their adventure to make it there. Even if I’m a little salty about who AJ ended up with (not my favorite, of course, but I’ll deal LOL!), this is a great ending to a great series. Fans of this series will be very happy with this latest installment. I’m excited to see what the author has planned next. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

AJ started this journey as someone who has been severely disfigured all her life to finding out she had been under a spell and was actually related to the mages and fae. Life has never been easy for her in any of the books.
She has had many ups and downs, losing those she loved, getting new loves, being manipulated and winning those battles. She keeps on going no matter what. With her elementals she has very strong magic and has also gained powerful allies. All of this is needed to fight the Neònach and stop her from taking over everything.
AJ is part of a prophecy that says she will free everyone but she has no idea how. Again, seeming tricked by one of her elemental companions, no one really knows what will happen.
AJ is a wonderful character, resilient, brave and will do anything for her friends and family.
This book is one big journey through different realms, different magic, friends and enemies. It’s non stop.
Lots of action, some surprises, suspense, OMG moments.
This is not a quick, light read but it is enthralling.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every book of this series and this is a grand finale.
Definitely will be recommending and reading more books by Yvette Bostic.

This book picks up where the last one left off - literally. You start the book with the last chapter of book 6. The Dionadair are still keeping the world safe from threats. And they are still trying to figure out a way to save Earth and the Fae realm from Neonach. They must find a way to cross into Tom Laigh and find allies among the inhabitants there as well. But not everyone agrees with their plan. The Elemental Council is threatening exile or worse if they enact their plan to go on the offensive.
AJ is finally so close to defeating Neonach and her army. She is also finally learning it’s ok to ask for help and that she does not have to do everything. She still pulls a lot of the weight, but has her team to help her out. And she is making surprising new allies along the way as well. But all is not always ok with her and her elementals. Dusha is keeping secrets and invading her privacy while she is with Lodron.
There is a lot of speculation in this book about who may be aligned with Neonach. At times, AJ and the others have no idea who they can trust. Can they even trust the Elemental council? Is one of their own working against them? But there is also a lot of trust, especially between AJ and Lodron as well as AJ and Mal. Even between Lodron and Mal. There are some definite breakthroughs with trust issues in this book as well.
There is so much action and crazy battles in this book. You will definitely be kept on your toes waiting to see how they can defeat Neonach. AJ must try things on a much grander scale than she has before. And once we get close to the end of the book, there are many secrets revealed! (Like what’s going on with her tiny lizard form!) The fae’s darkness is explained and all the bad guys get what is coming to them! And when this is all over, we find out if AJ will finally be able to get her HEA.

That was certainly a grand finale! What a way to end the series! The final battle looms. It will reveal many surprises. None of which I'm going to spoil! You'll have to read it yourself.

The book starts with the last chapter of book 6, for those of us who forget to refresh our memories before diving in. I've never seen an author do that and I have to say it was very muchly appreciated.

The series, in general, is very well written. There's a ton of action and fighting scenes. The dialog and banter will keep you hooked. I love how fierce AJ is and Lodron is her perfect match. I also appreciate her relationship with Mal as they make perfect field partners. He looks after AJ when Lodron cannot. I'm a little sad that it's over but hey I can always go back and read it again!

While I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book, I would have bought it anyway. It’s non-stop but doesn’t feel rushed. I love the way AJ thinks. The way it is written really brings out her personality. The characters and storyline keep you turning the pages. There’s even a great twist. Reading this book has made me want to go back and read the entire series again from the start. There is also a different series by this author which interacts with this one and a scene in this book made me want to read that series again as well. Basically, I can’t find anything wrong with this book (which is rare for me).

Am I disappointed it’s the end? No, because I know whatever this author comes up with next will be just as good.

Chaos' Accord: The Final Battle by Yvette Bostic delivers everything I wanted in the Call of the Elements finale—action, heart, and long-awaited answers. AJ has grown so much since book one, but she’s still got that signature snark (and just a bit more caution). Watching her navigate friendships, power struggles, and a love that isn’t forced by magic made this book feel so rewarding.

The stakes are sky-high with the Elemental Council scheming and Neònach still lurking, but what really had me hooked were the lingering mysteries finally being unraveled. And let’s be real—I needed to know why she can’t mimic birds!

If you’ve been on this wild ride from the start, this book is the perfect send-off. Magic, love, and a grumpy dragon? Sign me up!

Loved this series!

This series was outstanding. Some parts made me cry, which I don't like, but I could not put it down. I'm so glad I finished all 7 books. Alisandra grew throughout the series and I love where she ended up and who she ended up with. Thanks for the great read, Yvette!

Aj is still in the thick of it all only she doubts in her own abilities and power.
Finally we are at the end with a wonderful conclusion of the series, maybe now AJ can catch a break I think she deserves one.

Can she believe in her self and do what she must?
