“Never bet against a Daddy as deadly as me…”

She is a twenty-two year old poker player who loves to raise the stakes. He is a notorious mafia assassin who kills without a second thought - except for maybe this once...

Ellie
Ellie Everett made a name for herself in online poker.
She is young, innocent, but takes risks that most experienced card players would never dream of.
But Ellie has been playing in underground private games that are far too dangerous for a country girl in the city – and now she is in real danger as the head of the Colazzi clan puts a hit out on her.

Paolo
Paolo Colazzi has killed rival gangsters since his teens.
Now in his forties, killing is simply what Paolo does.
But Paolo’s latest target makes him think twice. This innocent girl is sweet, sassy, and all kinds of sexy too.
Killing her would surely be one sin too far... wouldn't it?

Paolo risks everything to keep Ellie alive.
And as the danger around them increases to boiling point, both Ellie and Paolo must work together to make things right.
But only if their red-hot chemistry doesn’t get them both killed first…

This steamy & spicy Mafia romance features explicit Daddy Dom/little girl (DDlg) scenes, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, and dark themes. But rest assured, it also comes with a guaranteed HEA. It is the first book in the Colazzi Mafia Daddies series and can be read as a standalone.

The start of the Colazzi Mafia so you might want to hang on don’t blink and you might want to make sure you are buckled up because this is going to be one crazy ride usual mafia antics betrayal, jealousy, lies, secrets, murder, and throw in a little maybe even a lot of violence while we are at it but also a little love so buckle up 😊! Ellie is sweet but innocent to a point she plays poker online pretty good at it well in fact she is really good at it she takes risk that have paid off but then she lets it all go to her head taking it to the city playing in underground private games where the steaks are much higher, much more dangerous and this time it places her in real danger with the Colazzi family who puts a real hit out on her. Paolo sexy as all get out dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day has been taking care of those who needed to be taken care of every since he was a teenager now as an adult it is nothing, playing poker well that is a man’s game and when a little girl thinks she can outsmart him well now she the big bad wolf to deal with. But what he didn’t expect was his mark to be a little girl one he wanted to teach a lesson not a lesson in death but one over his knee a few times especially with her sassiness, oh, and the naughtiness kept him on his toes but keeping her safe became his number one goal, will she trust him enough considering he put the hit out on her, will he tame his little girl, will she become a better poker player, and have they found happiness on common ground?

Ellie, 22 and a country girl at heart, is in a poker game that could give her the biggest win of the year. That was a year ago. She is a little and has a cuddly rabbit stuffie named Ace
But she's a little with no daddy. She's getting ready to meet up with two of her little friends.
Paolo is a hit man. He's been doing it since his teens. Now he has a target on his back. It was the way things worked in the business. But he was missing something. A little of his own.
His cousins Nico and Luca are also daddies but have no littles. It could be they have yet to meet the one or the fear of commitment. Who knew? But life went on.
He has his new assignment. He is to take out a civilian woman. He goes the next day and spots her. But instead of taking her out he saves her. Now he has to figure out how to keep the two of them alive. This is his little. He is her daddy. Now he must use all his wiles to safe them.
Will he be able to? And why did the head of the clan want her taken out just because his son was in debt. Something isn't right. Now he needs to find out what the truth is.
A cute but dangerous story of finding love in the middle of danger.

I really wanted to like this book, but it just didn't work. I struggled to get through it. While the male lead Paolo was decent, Ellie was just obnoxious and whiney. The actual mafia action was basically nonexistent. I've read this type before and when you make the female character extremely childlike throughout it ruins the book. She's supposed to be a poker player and that's unbelievable. It's never really explained what she did to get a hit put on her. While the three males in the story could have been strong, their story was hurt by the three whiny female characters. Wow, I'm hooked I hope all the other books are like this, intense, dark romance, dark Mafia, with a blend of feisty, sassy, sweet, mesmerising, passionate, little girl, and a splash of DDlg. When Paolo Colazzi was given an order he does the dirty job by pressing the trigger but something stopped this dangerous, ruthless, dominant, man, he likes to be called daddy unfortunately as a hitman he didn't comit now his life is in danger to. She stands by him to try for happiness.

This book was a serious test of patience. The third-person narration was terrible, and the characters’ names were repeated so often it started to feel like I was reading a script that forgot what pronouns are. The DD/LG relationship? Zero buildup. One minute they meet, (when he goes to kidnap her) the next they’re full-blown in a dynamic with no emotional connection, no tension, nothing…I kept thinking maybe it would improve, maybe there’d be something to redeem it—but nope. I hate-read my way to the end just so I could officially be done with it.

This was a different sort of DDlg book to what I'm used to.

It felt like most of the intense interactions between the MMC and the FMC revolved around spanking. There seemed to be quite a lot of Little scenarios with the FMC's friends and a smattering of scenarios with the MMC. I felt quite removed from the intimate scenes.

This book was a cute daddy romance. Would recommend if you are into the genre. Loved the idea of the playground for littles.
