Another beautiful story by Linda Goodnight! I am reminded once again of why she is one of my favorite authors. She is such a gifted writer. She sets the scene with just the right amount of description and detail, creating lovable, relatable characters, awesome clean romance and chemistry between Eden and Rio, and above all she is always careful to present the gospel of God’s love and redeeming grace very clearly throughout the story. I love Eden’s devotion to God and her servant’s heart. I also appreciate her biblical conviction regarding dating someone who isn’t a believer and that she holds to her convictions, even when it’s difficult. I also loved the secondary characters and the wonderful ending. Thank you again, Linda, for honoring God with your beautiful stories!
Covert operative, Rio Hendrix, is currently on forced leave and attending his foster brother's wedding. Due to a run-in with Eden Carnegie, he ends up injured. Eden is determined to bring Christmas joy back into Rio's life.
The story was excellent. I really enjoyed getting to know Rio and Eden, as well as all the secondary characters. The Christmas theme with its various activities truly added to the fun in the story. There was a strong element of faith and a very satisfying ending.
Pretty good for a usual sappy Christmas story. Made more interesting with his career background. Of course, opposites attract and all ends well. Tra la la, ho ho ho and all!!
Loved this Christmas read. Eden brings so much Christmas cheer and Rio who has had a lot of stuff happen in his life needs Christmas cheer even though he doesn’t want it.
