Lilia has sworn off men and marriage, believing love is nothing more than a fairytale. Ghassen, on the other hand, values family above all else.

When Lilia buys a ring with a magical legend, she has no idea that it will turn her life upside down. Seeking to escape the endless blind dates her mother insists on, she makes a deal with Ghassen: they’ll pretend to date until the end of the year. It’s a simple plan, but nothing is ever simple when their mothers are involved.
As Lilia focuses on her next clothing line and tries to dodge her mother’s matchmaking attempts, the line between pretend and real begins to blur. What started as a simple arrangement soon becomes much more complicated, as Lilia finds herself questioning everything she thought she knew about love, fate, and the true magic of a ring.

I read the first novel by the author and loved it so i thought i'll read her second one too.

This book felt quiet in the best way. Year End Magic isn’t about big twists or loud moments, it’s about emotions that sit with you, characters who feel real, and change that happens slowly.

I really connected with Lilia. Her hesitation, her inner tension, the way she reacts to people around her felt honest. And the dynamic with Ghassen: Subtle, frustrating, and strangely compelling. Nothing is rushed, which made it feel more real to me.

The magic stays in the background, almost like a reflection of what the characters are feeling rather than the focus of the story. When I finished the book, I didn’t feel overwhelmed, I felt thoughtful. And that stayed with me.

i just finished this book in less then 15. hours it's exactly what i needed right now it feels like a cure it's soooo romantic in such a good exciting way literally I couldn't stop reading it's makes me definitely want to know more about the character and what will happen next and of course I'm not going to forget mentioning how this author makes her book so soft and smooth in reading
if ur hesitated to buy it just don't think and get it without any doubt it really deserves ur time, if ur passing through an awful period of ur life and stressed just read it will really make you forget about everything and just thinking about the future actions

Like the author’s first book, this one is written in a simple, accessible style, making it a great choice for readers of all levels. It’s a heartwarming, lighthearted story that delivers plenty of laughs while celebrating Tunisian culture and family dynamics.

This book was sooo cute. I'm so proud of Bent bledi really 💗💗. I finished it in almost 30hours (i could've finished it in less if it weren't for college internship and education) but i really loved it. Although i can't believe that really there is a Tunisian man like ghassen (if you're there come find me) but it was good to live in delusion for a little while. Anyway i love this book with my whole heart 💗💗. Keep going 🔥💗

A definite improvement from her debut novel. Better written.
