tyson is one sexy motherfucker and i can’t get enough of him. he literally did everything while thinking of malory. this man always puts her first and he’s the definition of obsessed 😍 he is the camorra’s hitman while also conspiring a revenge on malory’s family. he didn’t harm malory in anyway because he was just simply obsessed with her from the beginning. when he was assigned to take out her father, he found out about malory and from then on he kept watching her and falling deeper. when he brought her to the cabin i literally was on my damn knees. the whole cabin was designed to fit her needs. from the fridge being stocked with veggies and vegan food because he knew she likes to be vegan to the rooms and painting canvas to the woods. this man is the most golden retriever stalker ever, this man is filthy, this man is unhinged, and this man IS MY MANNNN 💥💳💥💳

Our FMC Malory, is awoken in the night by dare I say a polite intruder wearing a balaclava. He drugs and kidnaps her, though reading the story one can’t help thinking this is more of a blessing than detriment.
Our MMC Tyson, a hitman has stalked her for two years, on some vengeance trip against her father. However, he didn’t expect to learn he had feelings towards her. Their relationship builds slowly, into something of beauty. Regardless, he has kept secrets and their past catches up with them in an explosive way. No spoilers.
This is a slow burn to start until about ¾ of the way through, there are elements of mafia influence despite this and Tyson’s profession, for me it wasn’t that dark though in all honesty I read some pretty dark and pitch black books. Also, parts were again for me, predictable. I’d say this was a good read for those wanting to take baby steps. I did enjoy reading the story and I adored Nero 🥰

I had the pleasure of reading this book and I absolutely loved it! I loved the mmc and fmc’s personalities and it was nice seeing their relationship develop through the story however, where can I find myself a Tyson please? I absolutely loved the mmc and seeing the different sides of him and how he was so sweet and obsessed with the fmc and treating her like a princess, he was playing with my feelings 😩as for the spice, whew, why did it get hard to breathe at times? The actual plot itself was quite good too and I like that it wasn’t heavily mafia based compared to some books and didn’t take away from the romance side of the book. The only reason I gave it 4 star instead of 5 is purely because of personal preference as I prefer my books a little more unhinged and gory and mafia romances generally don’t get dark enough for me but as far as mafia romanes go this was definitely one of my favorite ones 🥰

This man… THIS MAN!!! He didn’t just steal my heart he took a whole damn piece and walked away. The hugs, the kisses, the touches, the way he can’t even be in the same room without holding her, and how he’s always ready to protect her from any pain… God, I want that! I can’t settle for a man who gives less love and tenderness than Tyson. He’s officially my fictional husband now.. Period. ♾️⭐️

The Dark obsession follows our MMC Tyson, a mafia hitman. Seeking retribution, Tyson kidnaps the daughter of the man who has wronged his family, Malory. What started out as an act of revenge, quickly turned into a dark obsession.
When Malory wakes up to a stranger kidnapping her, she is nothing short of terrified. Her father has kept her locked away from the world for 21 years. So when her captor takes her to a cabin in the woods, she can’t help but wonder if she’s never felt more free.
A hitman. A stalker. A golden retriever. All in one. We love that in an MMC. Tyson is 🔥
We see a lot of growth from Malory as we progress through the story. From the beginning she is very timid, shy and naive. The longer she is with Tyson, the more comfortable she becomes with every facet of life and you see her grow as a person. By the end she is a strong-willed and free from the chains of her past.
It started off a little bit slow for me but once the plot & plot twists kicked in, I was intrigued. & the spice was 😮💨

A $talker has his sites on the daughter of a man who wronged his family. It turns into an intense obsession when he ultimately kidnaps her with every intention of keeping her forever.
This was a fun read all in all. There’s some editing issues, mostly in the first half, a lot of inner dialogue that felt like it could be cut down and the plot twist was unexpected but the mmcs commitment was a little too much 😅 when she asks if he would have cared and he says no…. Didn’t need that part lol iykyk but still I read this book in almost one sitting. The spice was great, the relationship was fun and the plot was overall engaging. If you enjoy dark romance and extra spicy reads definitely check it out!

✧ 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 ✧
For me, the book was very light and enjoyable, and it made me feel butterflies while reading. It suited my taste perfectly, even though I categorized it as light dark, but it turned out to be completely different from what I expected, in a beautiful way. I loved the routine of the protagonists, Tyson and Mallory; there was a strange balance between them, and everything in the story was organized and sweet, despite its dark tone.
The part that attracted me the most was Mallory herself. She didn't try to escape or do anything stupid after being kidnapped, and I loved that.
As for Tyson... that was the beautiful problem. His obsession, his possessiveness, and the way he looked at Mallory all of these things made me feel butterflies in my stomach, even though I wasn't supposed to like them. But the reality? Tyson is, literally, the kidnapper who made me wish I was her hero.
الكتاب بالنسبة لي كان خفيفًا جدًا وممتعًا، خلاني أحس بفراشات وأنا أقرأ. كان مناسب لذوقي تمامًا، مع أني صنّفته كدارك خفيف، إلا أنه طلع مختلف تمامًا عمّا توقعت، بطريقة جميلة. أحببت روتين الأبطال تايسون ومالوري، كان بينهما توازن غريب، وكل شيء في القصة كان مرتبًا ولطيفًا، رغم طابعها المظلم.
الجزء اللي شدّني أكثر هو شخصية مالوري نفسها. ما حاولت الهرب أو تسوي تصرفات غبية بعد اختطافها، وهذا حببته جدا.

For me, the book was very light and enjoyable, and it made me feel butterflies while reading. It suited my taste perfectly, even though I categorized it as light dark, but it turned out to be completely different from what I expected, in a beautiful way. I loved the routine of the protagonists, Tyson and Mallory; there was a strange balance between them, and everything in the story was organized and sweet, despite its dark tone.
The part that attracted me the most was Mallory herself. She didn't try to escape or do anything stupid after being kidnapped, and I loved that.
As for Tyson... that was the beautiful problem. His obsession, his possessiveness, and the way he looked at Mallory all of these things made me feel butterflies in my stomach, even though I wasn't supposed to like them. But the reality? Tyson is, literally, the kidnapper who made me wish I was her hero.

This book follows Tyson and Mallory. Tyson is a hitman who is out to get revenge on Mallory’s father and in order to bring Mallory’s father to his knees he was going to use Mallory. Initially Tyson was just going to take Mallory off the chessboard immediately (if you catch my drift) but that changed entirely the moment her laid eyes on her. That man was an utter goner he was absolutely head over heels and was going to do everything in his power to make Mallory his, and this is where Tyson’s plan changes in which now he takes Mallory captive in the hopes she will also fall for him as he does for her.
This book is definitely a bit of a fast burn, and the chemistry between these two is definitely undeniable. There are quite a few twists and turns in this book that had my jaw on the absolute floor👀
Finally, I just want to say thank you to the author for reaching out to provide a copy of this book because it was most definitely right up my street and I look forward to exploring more of this world in the near future ✨

I swear he has became one of my favorite book boyfriends. The way he loves Malory made my heart melt for him so many times. This cold heartless hitman has nothing but a soft spot for his girl. The way Malory was finding herself throughout was amazing. She became the person she always wanted to become, and was having all her dreams come true all because of Tyson. This will be a story that will always be on my mind. 10/10 read for me and I can’t wait for the next books in this series to come out ❤️

The Dark Obsession by K.T. Archer is an incredible Dark Romance sure to keep you guessing and begging for more.
The story follows Tyson and Malory. Tyson is obsessed with Malory and infuriated with her father. So as a form of revenge, Tyson takes Malory in the middle of the night to a cabin he created just for her. But Malory was shocked to find out that Tyson didn’t want to make her a prisoner, he wanted to make her his. As the two navigate through their complex pairing, we watch as two people heal together and find true happiness in each other.
Tyson is my favorite character in this book. He is complicated in the greatest of ways. We see an incredible amount of development in his character, because who Tyson is at the beginning is not the same Tyson at the end. Both Tyson and Malory struggled with emotional intimacy. Tyson has closed himself off to it and Malory has never explored her own emotions. They are locked inside of their own feelings that have been so forbidden for so long.
What I really enjoyed about the storyline was how perfectly it fit together. The events that take place make sense for the story as a whole. Nothing felt rushed or even accidentally left out. Archer did an excellent job laying out the storyline and the character interactions within that storyline. Honestly, every loose end was tied up and there was no guessing involved with the story. I really enjoyed the fact that the emotional intimacy was front and center with Tyson and Malory.
Malory’s story really stuck out to me. As someone who is neurodivergent, I really felt a connection to her. A lot of her habits are the same as my own and I really enjoyed getting to watch her blossom like she did. It was a beautiful experience to see someone like me represented in a romance novel.
In summation, if you find yourself contemplating whether or not you want to read this book, then read it! It’s an excellent book that’s easy to get lost in. I’m not a huge fan of Mafia Romance novels, so the fact that I love it as much as I do should say something. I can’t wait to continue this series and delve deeper into Archer’s world.

Wow I honestly didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did! From the moment I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down.
Imagine this: a dangerous masked stalker, who also happens to be a hitman for the mafia, breaks into your room, kidnaps you and takes you to a cabin.. only to slowly reveal himself as a kind of “cinnamon roll”??? Omg I did not see that coming. Despite the dark circumstances and his brutal background, he was surprisingly tender, caring and he did everything for her. I was SO confused but I loved it!
I’m a big fan of dark romance books with emotional layers. And I always love it when the “emotionless” MMC turns out to feel deeply. This book delivered exactly that. The first 70% focuses mainly on their growing bond, and the last 30% shifts into more action and suspense. The twist near the end genuinely surprised me and added an exciting layer to the story. At first, I struggled a bit with how quickly Malory fell for Tyson, it felt a little too fast and too easy. But once I accepted that, I really appreciated their relationship.
What didn’t work for me was Tyson calling her “little one” in nearly every sentence. I didn’t like that.
I also wish the plot had a bit more depth, especially in terms of the mafia storyline. I wish it would’ve been woven more throughout the whole book instead of only in the last part. The middle section dragged a little bit compared to the strong start and the great ending.
Still, I rated it 4⭐️, I really enjoyed it and I’ll definitely be picking up the next book when it releases! I can’t wait for it! 😍

If you want light darkish romance with 5 chili peppers worth of heat, then you’re in the right spot. If you are looking for plot heavy mafia romance, then this won’t be your jam.
Tyson lady-naps Malory in the dead of night for revenge against her father. Malory is a submissive, sheltered, and innocent in every sense of the word. She doesn’t put up much of a fight… well except that one time. But she mostly just accepts her new home. Tyson doesn’t take Malory with the intent to harm her. Oh no, he wants to consume her whole. 2 years of stalking her awoken his obsession. He wants to make her father pay, but he fully intends to keep her safe from everyone but himself forever.
I would say the most plot you will see if the first couple of chapters, and the last couple of chapters. Everything in the middle is just a lot of spice. I guess you could probably also categorize it as relationship building. 🤭
It has some loose mafia ties, but ultimately I would categorize this as hitman, captive, and stalker romance.

The plot was all clustered towards the end where as in the middle nothing happened in terms of the plot
His character was not consistent I get the whole mean to everyone but you be he seemed kind of schizophrenic… where did the anger and aggression go.. I think u can still play at the nice to only u vibe but have more consistency to the character characteristics like the integral parts at least

Hell yea, bc not only does this man kidnap this woman he’s stalked for two years, but he spent that time hacking into her Pinterest board and hand building a cabin designed exactly how she likes so she’d be comfortable… we love a thoughtful kidnapper 😭 Tyson is insane and I love him, that is all:)

That was an intense ride!
Tyson Corso was the definition of obsessed hero. Completely his opposite, Malory Hayes had a very cold and sheltered upbringing. So when these two collide (or kidnap) sparks fly.
It took me a while to connect with the story and characters but I enjoyed it.
I liked that Tyson gave Malory time and space to adjust the reality of him and never forced her to do anything. Their little moments were sweet.
I liked Rafe too.
This book was very steamy.
One thing didn’t like was Tyson view about incest. I also wished there were more to Tyson’s revenge. Epilogue was nice.

If you like Mafia Romances this is the book for you!
The MMC Tyson is over the top, obsessive, possessive and slightly unhinged.
The FMC Malory went from being sheltered little thing blind to the ways of the world to becoming a g*n wielding baddie!!
ALSO THE SPICE…. 🤭 and if you like pew pew play there’s a very spicy scene in this book!!!
The plot twist at the end!!! I did not see that coming I actually thought what the FMC thought….
Read it to find out what I mean hehehe 😈
Although I enjoyed this book overall I struggled to get through it a little bit as it just felt it went on for too long… there was a lot of romance and smut which was GREAT but it had very little to do with the revenge plot.
For majority of the book I was dying for more info on Tyson’s Revenge Plan or at least more mafia action but the book didn’t get EXCITING until 75% which just felt a little dragged out.
I typically like my books much much darker and more unhinged but nonetheless it was a good read and I enjoyed jumping into this universe!

omg it had so much potential ...... but it just dove to quickly for my liking cus from the first page hes in her bedroom ready to kidnap her 🙂yes ..... there's no build up to the kidnap point i saw this recommended on TT and my god was i disappointed..... The name really fascinated me and i thought it might be *dark* let me tell you its not and some rating it 4.5 shocked me i DNFd this so quick because i couldn't connect w the characters

My Opinion: I love a good stalker romance, so this book immediately caught my attention. The premise sounded intriguing, and the characters had potential. Unfortunately, the execution fell short for me and, as a result, it had several issues.
First, the writing felt unpolished and was often quite repetitive. Having said that though, it wasn’t all bad. I liked the codependent dynamic between the hero and heroine, and the spice was also pretty good. I also thought the hero’s dog Nero was an adorable addition.
Hero: 3/5. Tyson is a hitman with a tragic past. Not only did he grow up with a father that abused him and considered him weak, but he was also the one that found his mother after she had committed suicide in his room. I have very mixed feelings about him to be honest. I enjoyed his obsession with the heroine and his constant need to be around her and touch her, as well as some of the really sweet things he did to make her happy, but for a lot of the book I struggled to figure out if he actually loved her or if he just wanted to possess and own her. I also found the “sociopath” label inconsistent. He was portrayed as having shut off his emotions due to what he experienced as a child, but his behaviours didn’t convincingly align with that description.

Malory (21) was raised in a very restrictive household where she didn’t have a lot of freedom, so after she moved on from being scared of the hero, a part of her was actually relieved to have been removed from that stifling environment. She was quite timid at first, but once she realised the lengths that the hero went to in order to make her comfortable and happy, she opened up and came out of her shell. I also had mixed feelings about her too though. I usually really appreciate a shy and quiet main character because I feel I can relate to that, but in this case, I wanted more from her. I wanted her to just be a little less submissive towards the hero sometimes and to speak her mind instead of just shutting down when he occasionally pulled away. I did like how accepting she was of him and his troubles though, and this might be a bit controversial, but I loved that this wasn’t one of those books where the heroine spends half the book trying to escape and resenting the hero for kidnapping her and keeping her captive. Instead, Malory just sort of accepted what was happening and made the best of it, which I think made her quite unique in this subgenre.

Let me just say the spice in this book is immaculate like 5🌶️
I love how the tension builds and how dominant Tyson is. I mean it's pure smut from almost the first page.
It was so much more than just a mafia romance, honestly the mafia parts came towards the end but I guess it past of a greater story.
I can't wait for the next one and Raffaele seemed hot as hell. I just didn't get the horse references.

This was a great read, ideal for those dipping their toe into dark romance or for anyone who doesn’t want anything too dark. There is a little bit of violence but nothing major. The spice however? There was a whole load of that and I was here for it. Tyson is obsessive/possessive a massive walking red flag but you can’t help but love him and Malory his captive is super sweet and sheltered and a massive introvert but feels like she can be herself around Tyson. Looking forward to the next book!!

Obsession and tension. Two of the best combinations!
Malory and Tyson's chemistry is unreal and spicy! From Tyson's obsessive, possessive nature to Malory's sheltered living to bada$$!
Enjoyed the immediate spice and had a good plot but could've used more. I did enjoy getting to know both characters and look forward to the next part!

The plot was so good to me. Their banter and chemistry was just fire. I loved Malory's growth and development through out. Tyson is the definition of a doberman book boyfriend. I loved this obsessive energy. I can't wait for the others!
Honestly my only issue which led to the 4.5 is the grammar, spelling, and some of the formatting.(it kept distracting me from the story.

I loved this story!!! There were a lot of typos, but the story line kept me coming back for more!! I LOVED Mallory and Tyson!!!
