Even while knowing the ending the story is so fun. There’s just something exciting about the way Agatha Christie writes Poirot and how he comes to the solution of the case. Agatha Christie’s writing really is phenomenal and the flow of the story is excellent.
I’m not sure why this edition isn’t included with all the other editions on Goodreads (I’ll probably drop a 5 star rating on the regular edition as well), but the cover is very nice and it’s a good looking addition to any bookshelf
I absolutely loved reading the Deluxe Collector's Edition of Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. While I'm not an Agatha Christie fan, this book may have won me over. The story was familiar. I love the entire Hercule Poirot series. Some of Christie's more offensive biases were absent. Most of all, the book itself was lovely. It had a hardcover with a beautiful embossed illustration on the front. The front and back inside end papers had a detailed map of the train. The quality of the paper was excellent. The outside edges were printed with gold and black: top and bottom with a centered dagger, front with the words "THE MURDERER IS WITH US - ON THE TRAIN NOW". I'm not sure if other collector's editions of Christie's books exist, but I'm definitely going to look into it. This edition of Murder on the Orient Express was a pleasure to read.
