Of all the dreams I’d ever chased, the last thing I expected was for a nightmare to be the one that came true.

I’m no stranger to survival. I’ve always acted a lot tougher than I am, but I’m a big believer in fake it until you make it. But even I couldn’t imagine the relentless pursuit of my former kidnappers, and the only thing standing in their way are four calculating and dangerous men.

Each time I think I’ve found some measure of relief, a new danger threatens to suffocate me. It’s not just about who I can trust anymore. No, everyone has an agenda—even me. Why else would I find myself attracted to the men who are keeping me prisoner?

More unsettling, these handsome, complicated men with fire in their eyes that burns hot and cold, do not appear to be in any hurry to let me go. It’s not up to them. It can’t be.

Not when I need answers. Not when I need to find my sister. Not when every moment that passes is an eternity that pushes her farther and farther away from me. I refuse to bow to anyone or anything.

I’d rather end up a casualty of the hunt than be kept hostage “for my own good” no matter how sexy my jailers are. In this twisted tableau of danger, desire, and deceit, I will take any risk to find her no matter what it costs me.

*Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the foreword in her books. Contains some dark elements including trauma in the present day and the past, as well as mature situations, and is definitely intended for 18+ This is book TWO of FIVE total.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

I need Bones to remove the bone from his ass before I do it for him and beat him with it.

I guess he technically was better in this book than the last, but he was back to calling her miss Black towards the end. Probably pissed off that she was building relationships with the rest of them or something.

The thing is, I loved this book. I love Heather Long’s writing, and how she builds the characters, and the only reason I can’t give this five stars is because the next one isn’t out yet, and not enough happened for me to be satisfied.
It was a problem I had in the last book as well. And like that one, this also ended on a cliff hanger.

If the entire book series was out and I could read them back to back I would probably give them five stars because the suspense would be exciting, but now it just pisses me off, because not a lot of «big» things happen in one book.
It’s always one big thing towards the end that gets cut off because of the cliffhanger.

I am however very intrigued by the mystery surrounding both Grace and Amorette.
I know another author has written Amorette’s story already, so I could technically figure it all out, but when reading about stuff like sex trafficking I want to be comfortable with the author’s writing style and stuff, so I don’t know if I would be able to handle it well.
Right now I am willing to wait to figure out how they end up finding each other again. I am guessing they will?

I love how Grace is involved in the missions, at least somewhat, like reading the coordinates on the binoculars so Alphabet could shoot some people and stuff. It would be boring if she was just sitting around all the time.
And whilst it’s fun to ruffle Bones’s skeleton, he needs to lighten up in the next one.
I mean, isn’t this only a five book series? Time to get a move on.

Tantrums, travel, and trust 😄
It seems there’s a web of entanglement around Gracie - it’s not clear who is actually after her and it appears there may be more than one group after her 😣
There’s some development in the plot in regards to the kidnapping and these men are determined to find out who could possibly be behind this…and how it could possibly link to her twins disappearance 🙈
Some of her savours have taken far more of a liking to her than others 😅 Boney Boy is an absolute thorn in her side and he just doesn’t know what to do with her 🙂‍↔️ Voodoo is happy to chase away her nightmares and bring some light back to her eyes; AB has become her rock and fights for her trust and place amongst the guys; Lunchbox is an overall caretaker and is determined to show Gracie she’s more than a case! 🥰 There’s an upping of the spiciness in this book and definitely a deepening of the connections 🌶️ sometimes the pacing was a little slower however it certainly picked up towards the end and that cliffhanger blew it right out 😮

We're back in graces world and we have more questions than answers about who took her and her sisters whereabouts. Whoever is behind this knew how to cover their tracks, which makes it harder for bones, alphabet, voodoo and lunchbox to keep their promises to grace. The relationships are getting steamier and I love graces snark, especially with bones. That cliffhanger is brutal, even worse than the first one! I can't wait until book 3 to see where this story leads and watching the relationships develop further.

Lure by Heather Long book 2 in Blood Brothers series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶💀💀💀
Once again, Heather has created characters that ensnare you. A story filled with angst, mystery, and action. And MVP named Goblin.
Grace's story continues with her struggles dealing with the facts, the loss and danger she in, and has started taking a toll on her mentally and physically. However, Voodoo is there during the nightmares. Alphabet is building a friendship and trust. Lunchbox wants to feed her. Bones is building up walls and keeping her at a distance but still wants to keep her safe. Perfect alphaholeness example.
Lure is setting the stage for serious action and intrigue. The cliffhanger leaves you gasping and on an adrenalin high. Own, book 3, can't come fast enough. The ex military men are swoonworthy hot and very competent. Competence is very hawt.
Tropes:
Triggers. Forced Proximity. Cinnamon roll mmc. Possessive MMC. Touch-her-you-die. Ex military mmcs. Pet sidekick. Trauma bonding.
Quotes:
“I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I’m really not good with orders.”“You’re not?” He even managed to sound scandalized. “Total shocker, Gracie-girl.” I rolled my eyes and sat. “Ass.”“Sometimes,” he said,

“I know,” he said, facing me. “It got overlooked because we were a little busy. We’re going to fix that, Firecracker. We’re going to fix a lot of things.” Meeting his gaze, I raised my eyebrows. “Can you even make that promise?” He hadn’t been able to keep the last one. “It’s not a promise,” he admitted. “It’s an oath.”

“Who did you have therapy with?” Voodoo grinned. “Boney boy.” I didn’t cheer. Much.

This book is mainly focused on the characters without a lot of action. Grace and the guys are stuck in a weird situation. Bones, Voodoo, Lunchbox, and Alphabet want to protect Grace, and Grace only wants to find her sister. The guys may have saved her, but being unable to leave has Grace still feeling like a prisoner. Finding a way to work together is important since they are stuck with each other. Compromises are made on both sides, especially as relationships begin to form between Grace and each of the men. Some relationships form more quickly and more easily than others. As they work to find out who is after Grace and who has her sister, they end up with more questions than answers. And it doesn't look like the situation is going to get any simpler anytime soon.

Packed with plot and action.

I am enjoying the plot, however, for a "why choose", it lacks yearning and spicy scenes.

I'm fully invested in the characters and the mystery. Its not until the very end of this book before we are given some passion and the possibility of more than than one love interest.

Three more books to go. Really hoping it doesn't drag out.

Sad

I made it 45% in book two and one was really good . my complaint about that is that all the guys have the same personality and they talk the same and even she talks the same sometimes. there's no relationship development .Should at have some by now. one time with voodoo and that was it a book lone and I don't know if there's more going on but I almost made it to 50% and still nothing nothing that talks about being a relationships or wanting to be in a relationship or anything like that. The guys basically watch out for her, but they are not different. The only difference is the one who Cooks, which is a lunch box, obviously . magic trick guy,the computer haker ,then one is the Boss big jerk man. But personality wise, yeah, they all talk the same. I mean, you have to go back in chapters to see whose pov it was because you have no clue. And that's bad. You can't tell who is talking in a chapter. I loved 82nd Street Vandals. Those guys you could tell they all have different personalities. every single one of them different. why are these books struggling so hard to find identities for these guys' personalities? anything that would make them differently Stand Out besides making food computer haker ,one does magic tricks a few Times, then the big boss . There's more in a personality than what they do.

Book two picks up where book one ended.

As Bones, Lunchbox, Alphabet and Voodoo pull Grace into there world, does it open the door to those all important questions, as they deep dive into the information she provided, hoping it will lead to who took her and her sister Amorette, but the further they look the more questions it raises, ones they need answers to whilst keeping their promises to keep her safe.

Grace has fallen into an easy rhythm with Lunchbox, Alphabet and Voodoo. Despite the work that they do, they always make time for her, to make sure she is well cared for and tend to her needs, whilst building trust. They know the trauma that she has endured, they can see it in her face, the way she carries herself. The fear is there of the unknown, of whether she will see her sister again. But it’s the length that her pursuers are going to, to secure her, by eliminating those closer to her, that tips her over the edge.

Bones can see the effect that Grace is having on Lunchbox, Alphabet and Voodoo, they are all gone for her. Grace is fierce and independent in her own way, nowhere her interactions with Bones, the tension is palpable, her snark and witty comments aggravate him, but at some point she’s going to push him where he’s going to do something that he’ll not be able to come back from and I can’t wait to see the fire ignite between them, cause I have no doubt it will be explosive.

The relationship between Grace and Lunchbox shifts when they share their first kiss, but shifts further between Grace and Alphabet when they get hot and heavy between the sheets. Grace is concerned about how Voodoo would feel with her being with them, he alleviates her worries by assuring her that he is ok with her pursuing a relationship with them, as long as she is happy and they’re happy and she is not being forced into anything that she doesn’t want or like.

And as Bones, Lunchbox, Alphabet and Voodoo close in on getting the answers they need from there captive, a situation puts Bones and Grace in a tenuous place, not knowing if Lunchbox, Alphabet and Voodoo will make it out alive, or will they. Because if that cliffhanger was any indication we will have to wait until book three to find out the outcome of our illustrious characters.

I love the references of the Vandals and Doc, including Vienna, Cash and Fletcher, it made for such an exciting read!

Highly recommend both the author and the book, because two thing’s I am certainly looking forward to seeing is where there story leads and watching there relationship develop further between them.

I received an ARC. Therefore, I am submitting a voluntary review.

If Goblin is seriously hurt I will bawl for days. That’s it… that’s the review. Jk!

First, thank you Heather Long and Peachy Keenas for the eARC of Lure. This is my full, honest, spoiler free review.

I continue to love the dynamic between Grace and these men, even more so now as they learn to trust each other. While Grace started as a damsel in distress, she is not helpless nor unintelligent. She is fighting a mental war of being part of a human trafficking ring AND having to fear for the life of her sister at the same time. This is not something most people could survive. Grace’s entire life is changed, and while she struggles at times, she is taking it one strong step at a time.

Now, Grace is not doing this all on her own, she has her men to help. We have Alphabet, her first true friend of the group. He has been super patient and caring with her, mentally and emotionally. They’ve created a trust that will do wonders throughout this mission. Next is Voodoo, their tension and connection is strong (and hot af). He makes sure she knows she is safe and they will protect her with everything they got. Thirdly, Lunchbox. While Grace may not have a huge appetite, he is constantly making sure she gets the nutrition and vitamins her body needs. He, like the others, also cares for her emotional and mental well-being, his way is just more through food than anything else. Lastly, we have Boney Boy. I think we are coming to a breakthrough in their dynamic soon. They each are better understanding one another emotions and reactions to different situations. I definitely feel more will come in the next book.

Overall, I am absolutely obsessed with this book and this series. I need the rest injected straight into my veins asap. The dynamic between the five of them has me begging for more. The tension is perfect, the guy’s brotherhood mentality is beautiful, Grace’s resilience and determination is admirable, and Goblin is insanely cute. This is easily one of my favorite series already. Heather… I NEED MORE NOW! (Please and thank you)

All Grace wants is to find her sister and return to her life, but that's not possible at the moment. With unknown parties after her and no trace of her sister, she's being kept "hostage" for her own safety. It doesn't matter that her captors are smitten with her and are turning their own lives inside out to keep her safe and that they are sexy and sweet, Grace is a prisoner and her world is out of control. Not something she is willing to accept.

I adore these men. They're strong and sweet and sexy with a touch of awkwardness. They are the type of men who would burn down the world for those they consider their own. I go back and forth with my feelings about Grace. I love her beauty, resilience, and her love for her sister. I respect her trauma. However, I don't love how she considers herself a prisoner. I think there should be a level of gratefulness instead of resentment. She was kidnapped, assaulted, kidnapped again, and nearly kidnapped a third and fourth time. Her future is clear without them - imprisonment and sexual torture. Stop with the attitude. I understand trauma responses don't allow a person to think clearly, but she seems rational and understanding of her situation. She needs to trust these men until they give her a reason not to. They have done nothing but save her, cook for her, care for her, and give her orgasms. She could at least respect them as much as Goblin. It does seem as if she's coming around at least.

As much as I love the characters, I enjoy the story even more. There are so many missing pieces to Grace's puzzle, and I love the way Heather starts working them out. A book with a brain is a wonderful adventure. Each new bit of information that is uncovered and added to the whiteboard gives me a thrill. The fact that the villains of the story are worthy, dangerous opponents gives me happy shivers. The ending cliffhanger was top-notch. I am desperate for more.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Grace and Voodoo, Lunchbox, Alphabet and Bones. You do need to read the first book in this series because this book takes off where we left off in Burn. We find that Grace is having to come to terms with how much danger she is in. This is affecting her both mentally and physically. As we know she is still looking for her sister and can't find her anywhere. But now there is no signed of her, someone is after her and things are not at all what she expected when she thought about finding her sister. If the guys have to keep her as their captive they will. After all, she doesn't do well at all when they aren't around and are in constant danger. I don't like how she seems to things she is their prisoner because there is so much more to it than that. These guys would do anything for her and they do. Each of them offers her something different too. Voodoo is there for her when the nightmares come. Alphabet is the man she has a friendship with and trust. That's because he has made it his mission for her to trust him and them have an unbreakable bond. Lunchbox love language is food and he is constantly feeding her. Bones, oh Bones he is the one who is a little bit of a holdout as he is building his walls really high and doesn't let anyone penetrate them. He might want to keep her safe but I'm sure she doesn't feel that since he is always keeping her at arms length. This book is full of twists and turns and will about knock you out of your reading chair at the end of this book.

I am becoming a slow burn convert reading this series. Grace is still dealing with the trauma surrounding her abduction(s) and I like how all the relationships are starting to evolve naturally rather than it being the primary focus of the book. Voodoo, Alphabet and Lunchbox have begun to orbit around Grace with Bones continuing to keep her at arms length. Although he is keeping himself at a distance to remain impartial, I can just tell Bones is going to make me fall for him so hard when he finally opens up to Grace. Grace has her fair share of vulnerable moments too as the truth is slowly being revealed but she's determined to find her sister and I liked seeing her in action rather than going stir crazy on the sidelines.

I love a shared universe and I'm always in awe of concurrent timelines and the effort it takes to move all those pieces around; I haven't finished Amorette's books yet and I'm intrigued to see how it's all going to line up later in the series. I'm so invested in who these mysterious villains are as the plot surrounding Grace and her sister's abduction thickens. I thought I had spotted some clues in book one but clearly not and I am no further forward at working out who the mysterious guy from Chapter 3 in book one is. After that explosive cliffhanger I'm hoping we get a few more reveals in book three.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

There’s very little development in regard to who is trying to kidnap Grace and who actually kidnapped her twin sister, but these men are determined to find out who is behind this. And it just gets more entangled as more than one group is after her.

This is a slow burn book, especially with Lunchbox and Alphabet. Just not Boney Boy 😆though things are a little less hostile between them. Voodoo helps keep her nightmares at bay, Alphabet and Grace’s relationship builds on trusting one another and being out in the open with information about their missions and their life, and Lunchbox is an overall caretaker. So, each of these men bring something to their relationship and I love it!

I enjoyed their characters so much! They are strong, sweet and so sexy! They will burn down the world for each other and for Grace whom they are so smitten for.

Grace has been kidnapped several times and assaulted, but I found her to be resilient and understanding of her circumstances and being under the guy's protection.

I feel like this series would be better off read back-to-back. There were little details from the first book that I forgot and when it was mentioned in this book, I was like wait what happened?

I love Goblin and how he not only supports Alphabet mentally and emotionally, but also Grace. He’s a total sweetheart until one of his people is threatened.

Also, I would’ve liked to have better descriptions of the characters, I’m having a hard time picturing them.

I enjoyed the suspense and action throughout the book. And that cliffhanger!

4.5 *

Lure is the second book in an ongoing contemporary why choose series, revolving around Grace and the men trying to protect her from those set on grabbing her and taking her to no one knows where. While the first book was quite fast-paced, the second book is a little slower with the men trying to find Intel in who’s after her. I like how realistic this makes the storyline, even though it did take me a while to get used to the change in pace.

Another change is the bigger focus on relationship building (and spice) in this second book. I like how protective these men are, while also being careful to give Grace the freedom they can in a world that seems set on getting their hands on her. I believe my two favorite men so far are Voodoo and Alphabet, although I’m still curious to find out how many men Grace will ultimately end up with.

As a character, Grace is in many ways my opposite, and even though some of her choices and decisions feel weird to me as a result, I still like her for who she is. Her dedication to her sister is admirable, and I believe she’s the kind of woman that takes a while to warm up to you, but who’s totally in your corner once she does. I’m excited to see what book three will bring for her and her men!

Can’t wait for the next book!

I am not ok. Not ok with that ending at all, I need the next book asap.
Getting closer and closer towards the end, I was dreading the end more and more knowing it would be a massive cliffhanger. It was amazing. My adrenaline is still pumping, I’m antsy as anything, and my thoughts are spinning, just from that ending. I can’t wait for the next part to Grace and her men’s story.
The twists and turns will leave you gasping, the hot action will leave you needing a cold shower, and the action will have you completely h00ked on each word. I love how fast paced this book goes.
These characters’ cameos left me curious when I first met them in the 82nd street series, and after reading Amorette’s story, I couldn’t wait to read Grace’s story. When it comes to Grace, I love how sweet and caring she can be but mostly, I love that she gives as good as she gets. The chemistry and the build up between Grace and her love interests is magnetic, but I’m eagerly anticipating for the sparks to fly between her and one of them specifically.

Cannot wait for the next book

I did enjoy this one and I hope the next book comes out sooner than August! It’s always nice to see a main fmc who’s got a strong personality but I get really tired of the “and I’m a badass kicking ass and taking names. I’ll get revenge” types so i especially like that this characters personality traits are well portrayed. I think Heather did a great job working the ongoing trauma in and showing how she’s like “this is surreal and I can’t cope with it now” and just doing her best to get by. It’s such a huge pet peeve of mine when either physical or emotional trauma gets glossed over and it feels unnatural in the healing process, I think people probably get bored of long written and slow healing in a book but the balance is very important to me. (Like with the head injuries/concussions it feels like they glossed over that a bit but at least they acknowledged it after the fact vs being fine like a day later!) and I think Heather is closer to that balance than a lot of the stories I’ve read recently.

Heather, Heather, Heather, how can you leave us hanging like that again with THAT cliffhanger.

I can honestly say, book one was already good, but book two oh boy, i can't even imagine what will come in book three.... I really feel like this series is different from anything else i have already read, it gives me those dark dangerous vibes ofcourse but the subtleness of some scenes, make my heart pitter patter... The men are just chef's kiss good, like they protect, ofcourse ( Wink ) but it's something else to, i don't know how to describe it, it feels very intimate but at the same time also very out there... like i said, i don't know how to describe it, am i talking gibberish now, probably. there's just something there that pulled me in with them and won't let me leave, not that i even would want that....

I have read a couple of Heather's books now and all i can say it, every time they are so good, so different, they flow so well, they keep you on your toes, they have that little bit of mystery along with a whole lot of delicious romance. What more could you possible ask for.....

This is book 2 in the Blood Brothers series and it throws us right back into the chaos of where book 1 ended. This book was packed with adventure, mysteries, mayhem, and romance and I enjoyed every page of it! Just like our FMC Grace, I am already an absolute goner for Goblin. While I’m still firmly on the fence regarding Boney Boy, the other MMC’s have definitely captured my heart and I loved watching them slowly earn Graces trust. As their relationships continue to deepen and strengthen I can’t wait to see how they evolve as a cohesive unit. Our group finally seems to have some direction as to where the threat ( at least one of them) is coming from there are still so many unanswered questions. The cliff hanger queen absolutely killed me with this one and I am already dying for the next book in this series.

Okkkk you know when you think you’re getting some answers and then your questions end up having questions? Poor Grace is getting it from all different angles! Her concern for her sister being at the forefront of her mind, when she’s going through literal attacks and attempts herself just shows the kind of person she really is.

I love the different relationships she has with each of the guys, her snark is top tier and oh boy does she keep them on their toes! The tension is just absolutely everything, but the real raw moments and showing each other more pieces of themselves also have me craving more.

It of course wouldn’t be a Heather book without her collecting more readers gasps and tears with that beautiful not so little cliffhanger, I’m of course already counting down until the next release!

Grace and her mercenaries have me hooked!

This book picked up right where book one left off, and I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. The first half of the book was packed with a lot of action and scary moments, and at the same time the story progressed beautifully. The second half focused a lot more on building of the relationships, and them getting to know each other better. But the underlying storyline was present as well. I really enjoyed this book. It sets up the story really nicely for the next books in the series, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

I do think Goblin is my favorite character though 🤭🐕

This series has it all - Action, suspense, trauma, relationships and a lot of heat and tension. A great dark romance series I can’t wait to read more from 🖤

Let me start with...I held my breath for this entire book! It starts with Gracie (as the boys think of her) in big trouble. It’s Alphabet and Goblin (the MVP character imho) to the rescue! With everything that’s going on, I think of this story to be about Grace coming to terms with what is happening to her and her world, AND getting to know the guys better. Maybe even learning to trust them. We’ll see.

It is smexy in parts and boy howdy, would I love to see these guys in person. Whew! The mystery continues as to why Grace and Amorette are targeted and intrigue continues to be everywhere. There’s another jaw-dropping, leg jiggling moment at the end, and I was once again left with my jaw hanging down and my mouth open. SO looking forward to reading the next book! Loved it!

With Lure being book 2, and almost half way through the series, we are only just starting to scratch the surface of the mystery surrounding Grace and her sister Amorette. For every answer, another 3 questions pop up and it is driving me bonkers in the best possible way!!!

Grace is beginning to trust the guys and while I love the dynamic she has with Voodoo, Lunchbox and AB, I have to say I am very excited to see how her time with Bones is going to pan out. With both of them just as stubborn as each other, the tension is palpable and I can't wait for it to boil over. Boney Boys time to shine!!!

I can't wait for the next one and am really keen to read Amorette's story, thats next on the list.

Burn got us started Lure brings us together, Such a hold your breath type of book. Keeps you guessing, I love Alphabet and Goblin their chemistry with Gracie is awesome. Gracie and Venom is also note worthy. And Lunchbox is super yummy also. But Bones Gracie thinks she can live without. I'm not so sure. They are hero's but she is still having trouble seeing it. They saved her more then once. But people are still after her and she still can't find her twin sister. This is a hold on to your seat and watch how things fly. If she could learn to trust them, I think things would be easier for her. There is suspense, violence, fear, chemistry and so many twist and turns and so hard to put down. I can't wait for the next in this series..Its a fight to the end.

Lure picks up where book one left us with that cliff hanger. I would say get comfortable but I was on edge the whole time.
Grace, along with Voodoo, Alphabet, Lunchbox, and Bones, are searching for her sister, Amorette. The guys, besides protecting Grace, are working on trying to find out who is behind Grace’s kidnapping. They are slowly finding answers but more questions continue to pop up. There’s an undeniable attraction between the five characters, and it’s gradually developing. That is fine, the story is so captivating and entertaining without it. This story will leave you wanting more. Definitely add it to your list to read.

What a ride! Lure picks up exactly where Burn left off and the action never stopped. Goblin has definitely captured my heart along with Alphabet, Voodoo and Lunchbox. Still on the fence with Bones but when he falls it's going to be EPIC! I loved the slow burn between Alphabet and Grace and how Lunchbox has been trying to feed her. Heather Long is the Queen of cliffhangers and she doesn't disappoint, so please keep in mind that you need to read this series in order starting with Burn. You won't be disappointed at all. This series has mystery, lots of action, suspense, drama and an adorable pup who is loyal and a fierce protector. I can't wait for the next book and find out what happens next!
