Good book, well written and the story is good.



I liked how the author actually gave the main character Luke a few chapters to show me the type of person he is.

I liked the interactions between Luke and Sal.

I liked Sal's progression in the story as I went from absolutely hating him, them admiring him and them pitying him. Dude, his quick "funeral" was brutal.

I hated the magic mushrooms and wish they weren't a thing, but eventually I got over it for the most part. I hope they get good use in the future novellas.

I liked the friendship between Maddison and Carly, they make a good duo.

I wish there were more survival struggle as in them planning to do other things them just scavenge for supplies. But that's for the future since it isn't even a week since the alien attack, this is just me nitpicking.

I liked the suspense and mystery atmosphere of the aliens shenanigans.
