It's the most wonderful time of the year. And all you got to do is be nice. Easy, right?!
Easy.
Right?
Right?
Elaine, Harold and John are going about their daily business when things take a sudden, and brutal turn. They're going to learn the hard way, and the painful way, that maybe this year, things are not going to just so wonderful.
This short story is 20 pages so it's deffo a one sitting read. It's fun, it's brutal, it's messy, and bloody! Sure to give you nightmares about Christmas!
I love how this author brings such unexpected terror to life - similar to her Build-a-Bear story in the Grizzly Anthology. They are stories that may seem on the fun side, but certainly do linger in your mind for a while after.
You've got time to get this one and add some Christmas terror to your season! I recommend you do!
4.5 stars! This was so much fun! It only took me around twenty minutes to read but the ending was satisfying, gruesome and well thought out. I would’ve loved it to be just a little longer, but for a story of only 20 pages this really packed a punch. If you like your festive reads decked with gore and blood, you’ll love this one.
She’s done it again - another 5 star banger! Lunn has a way of writing short stories that gives me all the horror, thrill, and gore that I need in barely any pages. I wish this one was longer and is definitely my type of gory Christmas thriller! I loved it and highly recommend!!
This was a genuinely terrifying and gruesome Christmas story that I finished in about twenty minutes! It was a very quick read showcasing the dangerous consequences the characters face when they've made the naughty list. I flew through this one so quickly and wish it could be a full length novel!
I really enjoyed this authors, horror stories. I love reading Christmas horror. Especially since it’s a micro genre I don’t typically read often. I definitely will be adding this author to my must read list for horror.

It only took me about 20 minutes to finish this and it felt very rushed. Perhaps because of the lack of reasoning within the story and instead, just mindless violence. I don't really care about that (my reading history is filled with extreme horror), but this just felt unsatisfying.
It was almost like expecting a gaming computer at Christmas, but getting a Raspberry Pi. Sure...it is technically close, but its not quite there.
Terriying short story that highlights what the true meaning of having the Chrsitmas spirit is all about and what happens if you don't know. The ending was brutal and gory.
A chilling and gruesome short with a critique of modern society and the superficiality we attach to the holidays! Well worth the very quick read if you like a shot of something sinister with your festive spirits!
A nice short & festive filled read, with very not nice things happening. I was anticipating where this was going each chapter & I was not disappointed with the ending.
I paused my Normal People read earlier to try this little gem of a festive short horror story by TM Lunn I loved it, the gory bits weren't overdone and even though it is a horror story it had humour blended in which I enjoyed. A recommended read for the holiday season. You won't forget to be nice after reading
Lunn’s writing always has a way of drawing you in from the first page. This is the perfect quick, festive, one-sitting read with just enough gore and brutality, and a very satisfying ending. So if you like your holiday stories short but bloody, I highly recommend you read this!
