THE FOURTH INSTALMENT IN THE BEST SELLING PRINCE OF LUST SERIES

Freed from the chains of mortal shame, former priest Alessandro ascends through Hell’s ruthless hierarchy, shedding the last remnants of the institution that once bound him. With every trial, he reclaims the pieces of himself long buried beneath repression, transforming into a vessel of lust and guiltless power. As he approaches Asmodeus’ throne, Alessandro must prove that his liberation—and his devotion—are unshakable, even in the face of Hell’s darkest temptations.

The second-to-last in the series.

My religious trauma is so here for this.
Alessandro has at long last shed all his reserves, his shame and his regrets, he has fully embraced his sexual and sensual self, and he is finally ready for Asmodeus.
That moment with Oliviero will replay incessantly in my mind for years to come.

I’ve gotta give it to Alessandro, he went through all of hell for 10 whole years just to get what he wanted.

камон, that would've been criminal----- але гоупфулі матимемо з ними окрему новелку, тож 😌🙌

I don't expect softness from this series but there's no other word to describe this one. Letting go of final shackles to being human. Good for him 👏👏👏

This is my first time writing a review on here, so please forgive me if its not the best.
I picked the first book of this series up while hunting through Goodreads for a book which will scratch my ich for a story which explores biblical themes, has a pinch of the demonic and explores topics such as faith, guilt and so on.
To be honest, I’m new to reading hardcore erotica, so this was a first. I read absolutely all the instalments of this series chapter by chapter each night as if they were a bedtime story. And honestly? While i wasn’t expecting as much sex as there was (which is completely my fault) this ended up being quite a profoud exploration of faith through Alessandro’s point of view.
Alessandro himself became one of my favourite protagonists of all time. He’s written in such a way where all of his thoughts, deliberations, desires, revelations and experiences are completely understandable and realistic. His flaws combine harmoniously with his strengths, and his character development was fantastic.
The worldbuilding of hell was also an absolute knockout. As someone who’s interested in demonology and who’s probably read 90% of fiction books that contain demonic entities or spaces, i can say that Lucien Burr managed to portray hell and its inhabitants in the most interesting and fantastical way out of all of them.
Overall, I highly recommend this series to whoever wants to experience a rich, dark, and gothic homosexual erotica.

rest in peace to the potential that the dynamic between olivero and alessandro had because i literally could have devoured five books just about them. i won't be reading the concluding novel to this series because i literally skimmed through it just to see if olivero was in it and he was disappointingly absent from it.

I say: Pleasure is a sin, for God is jealous.
He is as covetous and paranoid as a jilted lover; He falls into the sin of His own designs.

If you’re not super into demonology, I’d recommend you do at least a quick search on each of the demons named. Their depiction has many nods to mythology, from appearance to personality. It deepens the story and strengthens the atmosphere. For me, it took the whole experience to a different level, and made me like Burr’s writing even more.

A well-done character's arc is everything to me, and Alessandro’s journey was beautiful. Development-wise, this installment was the peak. He didn't forsake god only for carnal pleasure; he chose to give his devotion to a place that could love him as he is, not in tyranny, but in a consensual exchange. He abandoned god to find true love. There is something so relatable and so healing about it.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: this is such a beautiful take on Christian mythology. The union of blasphemy and religious devotion was perfect. So sublime.

Honestly, if I had ever accepted god, I'd also forsake him for Asmodeus. There was a specific talk he had with Alessandro that was so compelling, it made me a believer. I was nearly convinced to summon Asmodeus myself, only for him to tell me that I, too, am a good boy. That is how well written he is.

A secondary character’s arc of corruption was not on my bingo, but it was so welcome. I hope that in the future, Burr will decide to revisit this character and develop him further.

“I wanted a symbiosis of pleasure.” The most beautiful and poetic description of being versatile in bed. Such a luscious image. Burr’s ability to be filthy and flowery never ceases to amaze me. The smut in this installment was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting so much tenderness and romance, but it was gorgeous. It was the most vanilla so far, and somehow it was just as enticing as the previous. And oh, the possibility of vore, it had me panting.

I am dreading the last volume of this series as much as I’m looking forward to it. I don’t want this to be over. And all the best stories will do that to you.

You questioned me, and I questioned myself. For I am not like God, who will take no criticisms and will smite any He does not favour.

Looking back to the first book, Alessandro's development has been amazing. In this one, he had to face his fears and realize what it is he truly desires (yes, I just made a Lucifer joke).

The sex scenes were the tamest in the series, but they were somehow more intense and hard to experience for Alessandro. Because they were life-changing to him. The contrast and continuity between each of them really highlighted his struggles and growth.

I said, “What if I have condemned myself to an eternity where I will never be loved?”
And Vassago said, with great wisdom, “Why are you worried about that when you are currently unable to let yourself love at all?”

Now that he's completely accepted his path and needs, he'll finally be by Asmodeus' side. This series never stops surprising me, so I can't wait to read the last installment.

Did I just finish all four books in one go…yes..yes I did. Got a bit of a headache but it was worth it. This series is definitely not for the weak hearted, it touches on some topics that not all people dig, ya know? Is it smutty, yeah definitely. A little weird, a little dark, possibly with little controversial bits and bobs here and there, but honestly I enjoyed it and the storyline was pretty good and the ending was even better. Loved the end was tied together and Oliviero’s part in it. Pretty great read!

We're back back back back again
Honestly, I totally forgot about this series. I don't know how, though I binged the previous three books in January. And just like in January, it did not disappoint now either.
In the previous book, I felt like the series was losing me. I don't know if it was the centaur or the crucifix scene, but something made me think we lost the plot. Oh, we did not!
I loved this so much. Such a gorgeous, but filthy little thing this is. I loved it!

i started this series because i wanted to read fucked up religious smut and this series is still exactly that, but somehow between book 3 to book 4 it turned into something about loving and accepting yourself and letting go of shame and i love the series even more because of it. i'm so excited for book 5 to be released

first 2/3 is ok. last 1/3 is peak. would've been rated higher if not for the many, many spelling and grammar error littered throughout the book. some weird writing choices? where i felt like sentences were split into paragraphs when they didn't need to idk. short enough tho and on KU so read if you're already interested.

Psychosexual therapy in Hell: how to get over your internalize, religion-inducted homophobia in two emotionally draining but sexually satisfying steps. My religious trauma is healed, my crops are watered, my skin cleared and so on. Pretty good finally to the series. I still very much appreciate that Asmodeus in not there, he is only haunting the narrative ;)

i almost gave up on this series after the last book because it just got too gross for my tastes but im so glad i carried on. Alessandro working through his self worth issues and being forced to face love and affection was so perfect. the smut in this was filthy and yet still sweet and beautiful. looking forward to Asmodeus and Alessandro reunion <3

This is the most tame of all the books. Sweet and indulgent. Getting over that fear to love and be loved.
I am however a little upset with where it ended. Is there supposed to be another book of his completion? I want to see Asmodeus again.

10/10, no notes. i was not expecting to enjoy these books as much as i did, nor was i expecting the internal journey alessandro takes over the series. it did feel a little superficial overall, but it added more depth to alessandro and kept him interesting.

Though this one is definitely more of the same demonf*cking madness as the other books, there are parts that are weirdly healing from religious trauma. Like we’re somehow getting character growth in this depravity? Nice 😂
Will definitely read the last book when it comes out this September!

Lived the one. The Oliviero parts were so damn good, I do mourn a tad that they'll never be a couple. I need more Asmodeus time, is this one the end or is there meant to be another book?
