She’s the town’s bookish virgin He’s the town’s notorious bad boy After years of dating messy men who makes her want to high-five them in their faces with a chair, librarian, Teyanna McCall is about to give up all hopes of ever finding a man that would make her feel giddy just like the men in the romance books she always reads. Baron Adamson is back in town to lay his claim on the girl he once marked as his since they were teens, and not even Teyanna herself was going to stand in the way of what he knows they could build together. Baron is ready to knock down her walls; mentally and horizontally. Christmas is known as a season of miracles, and Baron is ready to show Teyanna how good of a kisser he could be under the mistletoe even if he has to tie her down.
These two people were definitely meant for each other! I love books where both characters are unhinged! And baby they were unhinged! I would say her more than him! I don’t even think he had any idea just how unhinged she really is smh
This book gave all the feelz! Baron & Teyanna were really made for one another because the petty is unhinged! Be prepared to sit with your mouth hung open, massage them necks cause you go get whiplash from all these twists and turns. Grab your tissues for serious moments, your pearls for the unimaginable, and your partner cause it’s gets hot in the wintertime! You will love this one!

3.5 stars Whew chile. Hold on because this book starts off with some shenanigans and keeps the crazy going nonstop. We first meet Baron on a job. It’s close to Christmas and he’s anxious to get to his girl…but the girl in question doesn’t know he’s coming or that he considers that she’s his. Teyanna has been in love with Baron since she was 14 but fell out of love when he embarrassed her on the worst way when they were 18. She hasn’t seen him in 12 years, so she’s doubly surprised when she finds him breaking into her shop and professing that he’s back to win her heart. Never mind that she’s lowkey still infatuated with him, but she hasn’t been a virgin all these years to give it up that easy. To say Baron works hard to convince her that he’s the 1 is an understatement. He’s blunt to a fault, has no filter, has questionable jobs that makes him a lot of money and lies when it works for him. But, everything he’s done up to this point has been to prepare himself to be Teyanna’s man. He can provide for her financially and (more importantly for the purpose of this story) sexually. When I say this man is ready, he is READY! He’s learned all the tips and tricks of the trade to be all the man she’ll need. Anything that she has ever thought of from reading her romance novels, he’s gone out of his way to provide. Because of that, this book is not for the reader who does not appreciate graphic depictions of their sexy sexy times. The author seems to take great delight in describing EVERYTHING. I’ll admit that there are a number of times where Baron was unlikable. He usually redeems himself but he’s definitely morally grey. Teyanna too in certain situations. And that might be why they work. They’re good to the people they love, ambivalent to those they don’t know and downright diabolical to those that cross them. I’m not sure I’ll read any other books in the series, but I’m not mad I read this one. The author is silly, has great word play and knows their way around the bedroom, car, table…
This book was all over the place. Baron was a thug/killer/drug lord/daddy dom. Teyanna was a sheltered librarian with a freak nasty alter ego. Baron left her in high school to go be the best drug king he could be, he also slept with a ton of some so he could learn to please her properly. Teyanna offered her virginity to Baron in high school but he refused, slept with another girl and justified it all as an act of love. These two were a low budget Bonnie and Clyde. They dabbled in voyeurism, lots of anal play, rope play, and a bunch of other things that was just too much. It was like the author was trying to pack every freaky dream she’d ever had into one book. It was just a bit too much and the book did not flow at all. I was disappointed as I had high hopes for this book.
This was my first read by this author and won't be my last....it was the perfect amount of unhinged, fast romance and plenty of spice for a holiday novel. 10\10 would highly highly recommend.
I loved that Tee was just as crazy as Barron. Actually, it is diabolical to pay someone to give him the clap🤣 All he had to do was be faithful or at least use a condom. I enjoyed the read. How you go from being a 30 y/o virgin to giving a stranger head and a gang bang?
I had a hard time finding myself enjoying these two and I really wanted to , it is heavy on the spice than plot the plot wasn’t that interesting to me but the spice was okay . It just feel like she was doing that for what … was it just something to do because if he never came back .. idk I just don’t think this one was for me
