"What's wrong, kitten? Am I getting you riled up?" he asks teasingly. I turn away from him, hoping he won't see how much he's pissing me off. 

He knows I hate that fucking nickname, but he hasn't stopped calling me that since we were little.

"I told you to stop calling me that," I murmur, trying to keep my voice steady.

"And I told you that I would never stop calling you that."

I grind my molars, feeling my frustration rise. "You're such a dick. Why is that my nickname anyway?"

"Because you always have your claws out, but when it's time to scratch and bite, you're practically harmless."

A bitter laugh bubbles out of me as I turn back to him. "Fuck you. I could claw your damn eyes if I wanted to."

"Sure, you can, Kitten," he says again, grinning just to piss me off more. "But just in case those claws don't sink deep enough, keep in mind that you can always call on me, Niko, and Mace if you're in trouble."

Why does he keep saying that? I don't need them, I never have. Not even when my dad was murdered. I never let anyone see me cry and wiped my own tears in private.

 Just like Daddy would have wanted from his tough girl. 

"He's right, sweet girl. You can call us if you ever need us," Nikolai adds, emerging from the house and joining us. Mace appears right behind him.

hot and steamy! Really great story!

So, I’ve been in the process of reading this book, originally on an app that I saw advertised on social media, got hooked in the first chapter and like the book addict I am spent a small fortune on coins before looking it up and finding it on Amazon for Kindle. I’m just about caught up to where I left off in the app and I cannot get enough of this story and characters. I have read some good stories but this one has had me blushing.. woooo. 🔥 Other than some small editing errors and details I would correct or change the author is doo g an amazing job and I hope there are even more books in her future!

Paying for a book that's not finished

Don't bother buying this book, I am currently on chapter 134 on another app and waiting days for an update for the next chapters...I bought this thinking that I would be able to finish reading the boo, however my £3.95 has bought me chapters i have already read that don't go up to chapter 134...total waste of money... finish the damn book or update the description to let you readers know what chapters are in that book..took my money under false pretenses, not happy!

Cliffhanger... nope a mile high drop

I was quite upset with this book. Not only did it have a repeat chapter.. it just dropped.. ended in the middle of a scene. Now I was not expecting a HEA. But I would have at least wanted to finish.
As much as I Qantas to know how it ends I will not spend another 5.00 on an unfinished book.. a book that should have been all 3 in 1. Not 1/3 of a book for 4.99.. outrageous

Is this an amazing well written book? No.
Did I love reading it? Yes!
There is so much smut but it’s still interesting. There is a storyline. It’s very unrealistic. But I had fun reading it!

Also didn’t realize I was reading multiple books. Since I’ve read it on NovelFlow and it looks like just one very long book. So my rating for all these books will be the same.

Not bad 1 chapter repeats

Chapters 104 and 105 are the same. The book also ends on a cliffhanger. I'm hoping there is more to the story, but it was broken into 3 pieces already.
