5th book of a good series and looks like there is at least one more. Much of the story centers around the dynamic of Ozzy and his Irish gang friends. There are times that a lot of time is spent on more mundane tasks like field dressing a deer. It may be interesting to some, but the amount of detail bogged down the story for me. I do know that if I ever have a deer that needs prepping to find someone else to do that task whilst I make them some tea. I tried to tell the boys to be careful that an injury would more serious in the current circumstances, but of course, they did not listen. I do question Becca's judgment going into town, but as a mom, I did understand it. I look forward to the next book to see how a lot of this wraps up.

This is by far the best book in an already 5 star series! The writing is flawless, the characters continue to show new sides of themselves, the dialogue is just right and the plot and pace couldn't be better. I'm not giving out any spoilers on this one, its too good! Pick it up if you haven't done so already!!

Annihilation, book 5 of the Days of Extinction series continues its thrilling and exciting story. You are continually on edge for the dangers that are facing Dan and Abby on their journey home and also the dangers at home for Becca, Dexter and Benny. Gripping, riveting and leaves you wanting more. Really looking forward to the next book.

I did enjoy this part of the series, a little less than the previous episodes. It had good energy & the same mad world, good high stress moments but I found I connected less with the characters this time. Still a fun read & I do look forward to reading more by this writer.

This is one of his best. Action packed drama and personable characters. The y make two steps forward and then run into preblem to slow their progress down.

Very good storyline. So well written I wanted to keep on reading but next one is June. But so good.
