Wee see Jasynta's sister Melynda and the relationship with Dax Ferroro. The sparks from the other book are just beginning in this inferno. We see that Dax treats her differently but we don't know how until they start enacting their lust. Melynda acts like Dax is a but thread until she does a spell to see how he really feels. I love how everything opens up from there. The loneliness and the shame that each of them feels. This is a good one to delve into.

Consequences

I was shocked how Charlene's first victim came back to haunt everyone. I really felt for Dax and what happened with his first wife. No wonder he didn't want Melynda or anyone as a mate.

Wolf Mate was an exciting and passionate book to read. It was great. Action, love, danger, hot shifter male and red hot passion. I can't wait to read the rest in the series.
