Kinsley is searching for her missing brother. Sawyer thinks her brother may be caught up in an anarchist group and he will do whatever he needs to in keeping Kinsley safe.
Fast moving, non stop action, with a quick stop for a bang before the Brotherhood team rescues the innocent and saves the mountain. All in a days work for these former elite soldiers.
Heroes and lovers.
Romantic suspense for an afternoon delight.

After an injury ended his career as a Navy SEAL Sawyer is trying to transition into life as a civilian. While on his way to Colorado to pursue an opportunity with the Brotherhood Protectors he never expected that the intriguing woman who was sitting next to him would also turn out to be his first mission.
There is nothing that Kinsley wouldn’t do for her brother and that includes uprooting her life to find her missing brother and extricate him from the situation he finds himself in. She has never been more grateful than to find out that Sawyer and his teammates would be willing to help especially when it turns out her brother may not be the only one in danger.
Sawyer and Kinsley take us on quite the suspenseful and intriguing venture as they search for her brother and find each other along the way.

Sawyer Johnson, ex Navy Seal is headed to Colorado to take a job with the Brotherhood Protectors and meets Kinsley Brothers on the plane. There is something about her that gets to him and when the plane gets grounded due to a storm they decide to rent a car as she is going to the same place he is except she is looking for her missing brother. When they arrive at the ranch, Gunny and RJ invite her to stay so Sawyer and the team of Brotherhood Protectors can help her get her brother away from the cult he got mixed up in.
We see lots of drama, suspense, action, determination, page turner and romance along with the hints of more men joining the Brotherhood team in Colorado…can’t wait!!

What a great read! The smartly crafted combination of emotions, drama, suspense, action and danger grabs your attention and maintains your interest well. The main characters, Kinsley and Sawyer are very easy to like and have great chemistry. This book gave me solid feels while also keeping me on the edge as the gripping and moving story unfolds. I am posting a forthright review of my own volition.

The usual rollercoaster, with everything happening at the same time. Thought it was rushed sometimes, but an enjoyable reading nevertheless.

Sawyer is heading to Colorado Springs to join the Brotherhood Protectors, flights have been all kinds of messed up so he's running late. He's thinking the seat next to him will be empty so he stretch out a bit for the flight, until a woman rushes onboard. Fortunately for him she's generous and offers him the aisle, preferring the window.
Kinsley is moving to Denver to find her brother, she's afraid he's gotten himself in trouble and she hasn't heard from him since he joined a group during the off-season. She also prefers the mountains and is looking forward to living there.
They're thoughts are in sync as far as finally getting to their destination, they've both had delays and just want to arrive. Unfortunately the weather in Colorado Springs takes a turn for the worse and they have to return to Denver.
Kinsley rents an SUV and they travel together through the storm, the pass to Fool's Gold gets a bit hairy, but otherwise the trip to Long Valley Ranch was uneventful. A nice surprise is they have the room so Kinsley can stay there.
Things start heating up almost immediately as Kinsley and Sawyer follow the GPS to the last reported location of her brother's phone.
Plenty of tension and suspense as this story unfolds, I love the way the relationship between Kinsley and Sawyer simmers then sizzles.

Kingsley finds she needs some help, Sawyer to the rescue along with the rest of The Brotherhood.
The fourth man to join the Brotherhood Proctors of Colorado, Sawyer is glad for the job but unsure. This Navy Seal has a left arm he cannot feel. Unknowingly he has met his first case, Kingsley on an airplane. The two seat mates decide to take the ninety minute drive from Denver to Colorado Springs rather than wait on a plane in the morning.
On the drive Kingsley talks about her younger brother Derek and how he’s gotten himself involved in a group he may not be able to leave. There are a few extremists in the Rocky Mountains. Kingsley and Sawyer go to the location her brother’s phone was last at looking for a renter who owes them money. Sawyer doesn’t want Kingsley giving away it is her brother they are looking for.
Kingsley and Sawyer have a run in with the man leading The Collective, Bradshaw. They head back to the ranch to regroup and gather their men and some of Hank’s from Montana. Kingsley admits she won’t be of any help and stays at the ranch to help RJ. Her phone rings showing her brother calling. It is not her brother and she, RJ, and JoJo are off together.
Best line was Sawyer asking: how long do you have to know someone before you know she’s the one? Jake says one day. Max says a moment.

Wow, this story was fast paced. Sawyer and Kinsley hit it off immediately. I enjoyed the connection they had, like they truly liked each other. They also seemed to be interested in what the other person thought or felt.
I also like that there was no real relationship angst in this book. Sawyer and Kinsley went from instalike, to Insta lust, to instalove all in a matter of days.
The mission the Brotherhood Protectors were on moved pretty quickly as well. I was not surprised about the decision Kinsley made, but there was a twist that I didn't expect.
I also appreciated that Kinsley wasn't ex-military, A martial arts queen, FBI, CIA, or some other form of law enforcement. She was a sister trying to save her brother. There was a good amount of action, danger, and suspense.
This book seemed like it was over entirely too quickly. I read it in one sitting. I would not have been upset if it had been longer. The topic was interesting but it never went into detail about how Bradshaw ended up like he did. I also missed why the sheriff reacted like he did. I may have overlooked the explanation. Of course everyone got their HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

We find ourselves heading back to Colorado Springs in Tactical Takeover , Bk #4 in the Brotherhood Protectors Series by Elle James. I love the whole premise of this series- helping soldiers wounded in battle find hope and a different path in life. Brotherhood Protectors is such a second chance for our hero, wounded ex-SEAL Sawyer. And what better way to start this new chapter by helping a stranger he runs into on an airplane while heading to his new life. Meet our heroine, Kinsley, a medical PA who just quit her job and is on her way to Colorado Springs to search for her missing little brother (who may or may not have inadvertently joined a militant prepper organization. Sawyer and Kinsley join forces (yippey- enter some old Brotherhood friends) in their search for her brother and on the way get involved in a more explosive situation that even they anticipated:-) Oh, and did I forget to add that they are falling in love too? As Sawyer ironically notes about their talents: "While I was out killing people, you were saving people." Well in this case, both come in handy.... Read the book to find out what happens. Then start back at the beginning with Seal Salvation, Bk 1 -because you just have to know how it all started. I received an ARC of this book to review.

Tactical Takeover: Brotherhood Protectors Colorado: book 4 is by Elle James. Very good, short, exciting book with clean romance. Takes place on a dude ranch, The Lost Valley Ranch, near Fool’s Gold, Colorado near Colorado Springs. The ranch is owned by Gunny Tate; but basement of inn is rented by Brotherhood Protectors Colorado unit. They help Gunny with chores and The Watering Hole when not busy. Unit is just being formed with this series.

She actually trades him for the inside seat as she prefers looking out the window since she is afraid of flying. He needs the aisle seat so he can stretch out his long legs so it works for them. She is nervous and talks continuously about why she is going to Colorado Springs. Her little brother is in some kind of trouble and she is going to do the big sister thing and rescue him. However, she has no idea where to start. Due to a storm, they end up driving to The Lost Valley Ranch where she plans to drop him off. We are back in Colorado with the newly formed division of Brotherhood Protectors. A group that dedicates themselves in helping those in need and/or protecting them. Where individuals that have left their military service, some due to injuries, are now finding a place to not only use their expertise, but a place to call home with their new “brothers”.
One such new member is Sawyer Johnson. His injury has him questioning his usefulness and wonders if he can be of any service to this new group. He never thought that Kinsley Brothers, the woman sitting next to him on his flight to his new life, would change his view of himself, and of his future.
Determined to find her missing brother, Kinsley leaves everything behind, and is blessed when this stranger and his new co-workers offer their assistance.
The plot was engaging, filled with lots of action, dangerous men, new beginnings , and of course romance. Another entertaining story in this most enjoyable series.

The Brotherhood Protectors never get stale, and the Colorado branch is no exception to this. The book starts out with tension, and it keeps the reader engaged from there. Sawyer and Kinsley are a fabulous couple, and the way in which Sawyer engages with the others at the ranch, immediately identifying Kinsley’s quest to find and free her brother as a perfect fit for his first assignment, is, in many ways, a refreshing change from the reluctant new hire. The concept of the survivalist cult is not a new one, but the cult in this book has a significant twist, and I have to tell you that the climax of this book is more than gripping. It’s a great revisiting of the Colorado Protectors we’ve already met, several of Hank’s original group, and a promise of a great group of new Protectors to come. As always, this is written as a standalone, but it is so much richer if you have some background in this series.

Tactical Takeover is a fabulous romantic suspense by Elle James. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. James has shared more of her spectacular characters in this well-written book and we get to visit with some of our favorites from past books. After Sawyer's career as a Navy SEAL was ended by injury he was invited to join the Brotherhood Protectors and is on his way to Colorado when he meets Kinsley. Kinsley quit her job and is on her way to Colorado to find her missing brother. Sawyer and Kinsley's story is packed with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I loved this book and look forward to my next book by Elle James. Tactical Takeover is book 4 of the Brotherhood Protectors Colorado Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Once again we are at the Colorado Branch of the Brotherhood Protectors and they are quickly building a team and their latest recruit will be Sawyer Johnson if he decides to join them He is a former SEAL who has lost the use of his left forearm and hand due to damage from an IED a bomb that killed two of his team mates brothers who had families and even a baby on the way so he feels guilty that he is the one to survive. A chance meeting with a woman on the plane to Colorado leads to him realising that he still has use. Kinsley Brothers is searing for her brother who appears to have disappeared near where the Brotherhood are based and she is determined to find him. It will take all the team with some help from their Montana brothers to rescue him as he has become involved with something much more dangerous than the cult they suspected. What a great addition to the Brotherhood Protectors Colorado series. There's so much going on. It's fast paced with some suspenseful moments that are action filled. It's steamy romance between remarkably likeable characters. Sawyer Johnson and Kinsley Brothers were fated to meet. All it took was a bumpy plane ride to start the relationship ball rolling. She becomes his first Brotherhood assignment and suddenly he has purpose in his life again. Kinsley sees through Sawyer's insecurities to the man beneath. His disability in no way diminishes him in her eyes. His single-minded quest to find her brother only endears him more to her. Things get dicey though and it becomes an all out Brotherhood effort to take down a group with dangerous intentions and to keep not only Kinsley but JoJo and RJ safe too.

Sharing a ride to Fool’s Gold in the storm, Sawyer and Kinsley chat and she’s stunned Sawyer brought her quest up after introductions.
Investigating the area, Sawyer and Kinsley learn enough to know Kinsley’s brother is being held by a brutal cult, The Collective, things get worse when they meet the psychopathic leader of the cult in an altercation. But somewhere along the line they made a mistake and it’s clear Kinsley’s flimsy cover has been blown and the leader is after her.

The story of Sawyer and Kinsley is one I’m sure happens every day. You meet somewhere and you just hit it off, you know they are someone that you want in your life. The fact that Kinsley’s brother is missing, and Sawyer is interviewing for a job as a protector is icing on the cake. Once again, we get to visit Fool’s Gold, Colorado and check in on the Brotherhood Protector’s newest branch. Jake and RJ show Sawyer the office and explain what he would do, and RJ invites Kinsley to stay as she searches for her brother. Sawyer accepts the job and requests that he be able to take the job for Kinsley. It’s a great book that you will want to pick up and add to your collection.

Book 4 has Sawyer heading to Colorado for a job with the Brotherhood Protectors when he meets Kinsley on the plane. Come to find out she's on her way there also to try and find her missing brother. Kinsley takes Sawyer to the ranch where she gets invited to stay while the team helps find her brother. They find out he's being held by a cult and can't get away. There's action, drama, suspense, and romance. We also get to see some old friends from Montana and Colorado. This book also showed the brotherhood of these men when everyone drops everything to help. We also get a glimpse of maybe five new Protectors coming to Colorado. Can't wait for that! I enjoyed being back in Colorado and seeing what everyone was doing. And I really like Gunny.

Kinsley & Sawyer are awesome!
I love Elle James! And she has another winner with Tactical Takeover. Kinsley Brothers leaves her PA job in Savannah to go to Colorado to find her brother who seems to have gotten himself involved in something over his head and is now missing. On a flight on the way there she runs into a Navy SEAL, Sawyer Johnson, going to the same place. On a flight on the way there she runs into a Navy SEAL, Sawyer Johnson, going to the same place. Even though he lost the feeling in his left arm he seems 2 think he's worthless as a man than he was b4 the accident. Even though they barely talked a few words on the plane they both planned 2 b with each other since they were heading in the same direction. When he found out about her bro he knew he had 2 help find him. What they found was mind blowing 2 say the least. The only thing I can't figure out is how could they have found the other 2 women?? Overall with the help of a few of the Montana group things started looking up b4 it was 2 late. It was hard 2 put the book down and go 2 bed cause I couldn't find a good stopping spot. Lol read it and u won't b disappointed. I wasn't. I loved it.

Another interesting chapter in the Brotherhood Protectors Colorado book series. This finds a new recruit, Sawyer, finding his first assignment with a women he meets on a plane, even before he's started his new job. Kinsley, is one determined woman out to find and save her brother. Sawyer feels he's half empty with his injury from his service in the military, he's worked long and hard just to get where he is now, on his way to Colorado. Kinsley fills his well, just by being her. A rescue that goes from 1 to an 8 on the Richter scale closes this book with all hands on deck. Love this series.

This is a great book. It got my attention on the first page and didn't let go. Sawyer and Kinsley meet on a plane headed to Colorado. Sawyer is a former Seal, headed to a job with the Brotherhood Protectors and Kinsley is searching for her brother who has gotten involved with a cult. This is a standalone book but I love getting to see old friends from the other Brotherhood Protector series. All of the heroes in these books are former military and learn how to overcome their disabilities. There's lots of action, suspense and romance. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review and I loved it. I recommend it to everyone that enjoys a great suspense and/or romance book.

As these two talk and eventually end up traveling together to Colorado Springs Sawyer realizes he wants the search for Kinsley's brother to be his first case. But you never know what you may encounter in the Colorado mountains. As the intrigue builds they may have to call in more of the Brotherhood protects to stop what is happening. This story keeps a good pace with enough suspense while building the romantic connection between Sawyer and Kinsley.

“Failure wasn’t an option”. That pretty much sums it up. Sawyer Johnson and Kinsley Brothers have a chance meeting on a plane that ultimately took off then returned due to weather conditions. Since they were both going to close destinations about a two hour drive. They got a vehicle and rode together. Sawyer to his potential new job with Brotherhood Protectors and Kinsley is looking for the last known location of her missing brother. As things go, Sawyer feels the need to help Kinsley look for her brother. Things get dangerous as they pursue the search. Brotherhood Protectors to the rescue. A really good series.

Is something sinister involved? Who is this group heavily armed up in the mountains? Plenty of action and danger throughout this story. The author still manages to paint a picture, the surrounding scenery sounds magnificent.

Excellent book with edge of your seat reading. The author always has you wondering what is going to happen next and keep you in suspense. Love all her books and they just keep getting better and better. There's plenty of action, suspense, rescues and some heat. Kinsley is trying to find her brother who happens to be somewhere in the Colorado Mountains. Sawyer is a former Seal without the use of his left forearm thanks to an explosion. He knows and Hank and is starting over at the Colorado Brotherhood. Loved the book. HEA.

Arc review For honest Review .Kingsley Brother and Sawyer Johnson are on the same plane going to fools gold Colorado Springs when they get to talking, but when a storm comes and they end up driving instead. they get to find out more about each other. Sawyer feels if he gets the job with the brotherhood protectors he going to try his best to help her find her brother who is missing . this was a fantastic story and I love how he is not letting his disability hinder him even though he feels like he half the man he was .

Sawyer and Kinsley's story had me rooting for them. I felt really sad for Sawyer. He appeared as though he was having so much trouble coming to grips with his disability. It was so sad the way he felt about himself. Fortunately, she definitely was the woman who could set him straight. Fate had brought these two together to find her missing brother and for Sawyer to make important decisions about his life and future. She would be his first assignment along with her brother.

Sawyer's first job is to help Kinsley find her brother. He thinks because of his injury, he isn't much use for anything but he knows he would do anything for her. They all have a pretty good idea where her brother is, it will take a lot to free him.
After a phone call, Kinsley heads out to go get him. Unfortunately, her, RJ, and Jojo are taken to an under ground mine.
Will they get free before the whole place explodes? Will her and Sawyer get a chance for a relationship?
