I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

**Warning! Review may contain some information that could be spoilery!*
This series is intertwined with the Philadelphia chapter of the Royal Harlots MC. RHMC is an all-female companion/spin off of RBMC. In this case the RHMC book was published first and it absolutely knocked my socks off. Haven, the FMC of SAFE HAVEN, is the FMC of this book as well, and her teenage love Joey is now known as the MMC Cable. Both are the presidents of their chapters.
Haven is an awesome character, and now she’s joined by (and with) Cable, whose grin melts clothing.
Main plot is the love story, which is excellent and provides some grade A quality sexytime. *chef’s kiss*. Haven and Joey are an excellent match and have enough heat to burn down Philly.
Speaking of hot and dangerous things, Joey was volunteered to be an RBMC president by Jameson Hisownself, National President. Who is a lethal legend who has melted his share of clothing.
Other plots involve the club’s ongoing efforts to stop shipments of trafficked women from reaching their intended destination, instead freeing and assisting them. And a woman from Twister’s past appears and she’s a doozy.
The side plots and romance plot are very entertaining, but Williams’s characters have that extra special something that is so hard to define (but you know it when you read it) that, with a good plot, basically guarantees an excellent book and a five-star review from me and any other reviewer who is paying attention.
TRIGGERS include off-page trafficking and resultant SA, discussion of pregnancy loss, violence, trafficking, and language.
TROPES include First Love, Second Chance, Antiheroes, and J/P Hero.
NO CHEATING IN THIS BOOK.
Heat is EXPLICIT, featuring a VIRGIN HEROINE.

She was the girl next-door and the girl that got away. He fell in love with her when they were just kids, but always knew it was the real deal. Life took him to the military and now 15 years later he’s out. And he runs back into her and it’s like he never left. He knows she’s his future just as much now as he did then. She was mad at him a long time ago for something he never knew. She’s made peace with the past and now she’s ready to claim it should’ve been hers all along. They both have a lot of intensity and play off of each other very well. Their relationship is teasing, as well as very steamy. There is also an arc of MC drama that runs through the story and introduces the next book. I enjoyed the story and I enjoyed the characters. I will say that I felt that the end focused more on the next chapter than on the current one, and I felt I missed out on fully enjoying the happily ever after for the characters of this story.

Joel (Cable) is fresh out of the service and unexpectedly becomes the President of the RBMC's Philadelphia charter while also becoming the dock master. He's been in love with Haven since they were teenagers but they drifted apart for reasons unknown to Joel. They are able to mend their relationship and Haven becomes his old iady.

This is mainly Joel and Haven's story but there are other side tangents pertaining to the docks and some of the MC's businesses.

This is a short but enjoyable read. I can't wait for the next installment which will hopefully tie up some of the loose ends from this book.

Here we met Canle who was childhood first loves with Haven who we met in a previous book. I loved that they both still cared so much for each other even though they didn’t know the circumstances as to why they had drifted apart.

This was a great story. Following on from Safe Haven this story focus's on Cable's entry into the RBMC and how Cable and Haven get themselves together.
This was a hot story lot's of action some misunderstandings but the usual intensity and humour we get from this author. Well worth the read.
Loved it!

This is a great story with likable characters in Cable and Haven. They share a past but life choices had them going in different directions until their reconnection. It is a heartfelt story packed with action and had me cheering them on to finally getting their chance to find happiness.

What a fantastic start to a new Chapter

Oh wow, what a start. Cable is so confused and so out of his depth. Meeting back up with Haven is messing with his head, but he’s not the only one, Twister is as confused as him. Let the games begin. I think the story is only going to get more complex and dangerous while they seek out the bad guys.

Wow! I loved this book so much much that I couldn’t put it down. It was so enthralling that it only tool me 3 hours to read.
Cable and Haven had a past that may interfere with the future. Mistakes were made but can they be fixed.
I look forward to more from this series.

When I read SAFE HAVEN, I hoped and prayed we got to read more about these characters. So RAISING CABLE was the perfect Christmas present for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was full of action and suspense. After that ending I can’t wait to read Twister’s story.

It was ok. I was really disappointed. It was similar 2 the other book but this didn't have much action in it except a few small ones not much of them.

Excellent start to a new series. It seems Cable ran across something unexpected. There's danger and suspense. And an unexpected meeting one of his friends have with a woman.
