A note from the author:
Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.
I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.
What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.
It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.
And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.
What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.
I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.
I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.
I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!
Finally! The ending to a treasure hunt that I’ve been waiting through two series for. This Christian romantic suspense has much to do with family and has a lot of characters. Nash is the last one of his family not married when he runs across his high school sweetheart who disappeared one day long ago. A second chance romance with faith, family, secrets, danger, and a gold treasure hunt. This was a sweet romance to tie up these two series. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 2.
Content: a few gosh/darns, one usage of “hell”, criminal elements with guns
I received an eARC of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Intense addition to the Cross Creek Cowboys series by Taylor Hart. The Cross and Stone families continue their hunt for the conquistador’s gold. Now it’s Nash’s turn to do his part. He runs into Amanda (Sadie) who disappeared eight years ago after prom. It appears they are both looking for the same thing. But she warns him off telling him it’s dangerous, her colleague was killed while looking for it. Nash can’t leave it or her alone. They join forces and the adventure begins. *I received this as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.
This is a clean, Christian suspense romance. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
Nash is part of a larger family that owns the Cross Creek Ranch. He lives in Utah and works as a lawyer. He is hiking and runs into a girl who he went to prom with and that vanished one day. She gets injured and he starts to help her. She was working on a thesis regarding Porter Rockwell and hiding of gold. It’s some of the same thing he is dealing with on his family’s ranch. They are both now dealing with trouble from the Ferrante, a criminal enterprise. Will they survive this and get out alive? Is their connection more than friends?
This was a really good suspense novel. I enjoyed the story. I have read a couple of the other books, but I will have to go back and read the ones I missed. The story kept me thinking and I didn’t want to put the book down. A definite good read.
I received an ARC from the author and am leaving an honest review.
A wonderful conclusion Two great intertwined series come together for a strong ending. The Stone and Cross families have joined together in the search for the conquistador gold and now the clues point to Salt Lake City. Nash Cross, who lives in Salt Lake, agrees to track down the lead. When he arrives at the location, he’s shocked to see Amanda, his high school girlfriend that vanished years ago. They become reacquainted only to discover that she is also searching for the gold but evil forces are also on the hunt and discovering who you can trust is difficult. When the Stone family and the rest of the Cross family join Nash and Amanda the search intensifies with secret identities, hidden agents, stalking, and a kidnapping. A great read. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
Nash is the youngest Cross brother. He is an attorney in Salt Lake City. When he is hiking one day, he encounters Amanda. They were sweethearts in Cross Creek in high school until she disappeared on prom night. She tells him to forget that he saw her. When she stumbles and hurts her ankle, Nash helps her to her car. He follows her home where she tells him she's in witness protection. Her name is Sadie now. She is a professor and researcher at the university. Nash and Amy/Sadie realize that the gold she has been researching is actually the conquistador gold that the Cross and Stone families have been looking for. When danger closes in, both families come together and continue the search. Great ending to the series as answers to the questions are discovered and the gold search and danger come to an end.
Nash is the exciting conclusion to the gold hunt - Christian suspense at its best! We have tracked this gold across two series and finally get resolution when a clue suggests that the gold could be near Salt Lake City where the last of the Porter brothers practices law. This is an edge of your seat, intense adventure as Nash, his prom date of eight years ago, the Cross and Porter family members, and more villains prepare for a show down. I am not going to say more about the plot for fear of spoilers. Ms. Hart does her usual fantastic job weaving together danger, suspense, villains, a second chance romance, family and faith. It is hard to believe it is over, but the conclusion is very satisfying.
This book is the last book from two series that intertwine and I for one am sad to see it end. It IS the perfect conclusion, though I thought that when the Stone series ended... So.... Anyway this is Nash's story and I feel like it could be read as a stand alone, but MAN you would miss out, because all these books are packed with suspense and clean romance and they are all FANTASTIC and this one is on par. Nash and Amy are wonderful together and who does not love a second chance romance?? Yeah this book does check all the boxes and you know Ms. Hart is wonderful at that! This is a must read and you will LOVE it as much as I did!!
Nash is a perfect wrap up for the Stone-Cross Conquistador gold epic quest. I really enjoyed how Nash encounters the girl who vanished eight years ago early in the story. The development of their relationship is so sweet and satisfying! The way Taylor Hart contrasts the treasure of family and lost love rediscovered with the perils of hunting for the Conquistadors' gold kept me invested to the last page! She weaves faith and family naturally through the whole Conquistador gold saga. I want the kind of relationship experienced by the Stone and Cross families for my family. The only disappointment I felt was when I turned the last page of Nash.
I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Lawyer Nash Cross finds his former girlfriend while he is hiking. She had left right after their prom date, and he hadn’t seen her since. She is exploring information about a hidden gold treasure, and his family has been looking also. He discovers she had left because her family was in witness protection and her father was killed the following day. As they search, both his family and the Stone family coordinate the search and end up confronting a mob family. Awesome second chance story and a great ending to this series by Taylor Hart.
This is a story that kept me interested from the beginning, with suspense, the second chance romance and the love and support of family and friends. Nash and Amy, (she had other alias) had the perfect date in High School only for her to disappear after. Nash Cross is an attorney and the only Cross sibling that isn’t married. When they see each other, it is a big surprise for them both, then to find out that they have both been looking for the same story. I enjoyed this story, sweet and swoony but also with so much action and suspense that made it hard to put the book down.
This is a wonderful conclusion to the Conquistador Gold Treasure Hunt. Spanning two series, with the Stone Family and the Cross Family. I love how this story combines both families for the dramatic finale of the hunt. Amy and Nash are a great couple. Both well written along with all the other characters. Well worth your time and consideration. Loved all the stories. I received this book from the author and this is my voluntary, honest review.
This book has everything you expect from Taylor Hart. There’s suspense, romance, treasure hunting, maps, clues, betrayals, murder, greed, sacrifice, prayer, faith, and family. While you could read the book as a stand alone book, there are many characters in it from the South Port series, as well as the earlier Cross Creek Cowboys books. This is definitely a must read!
It is bittersweet to read the last book in not just one, but two absolutely wonderful series! The end of the hunt for the conquistador treasure is finally over. Nash and Amy are such a wonderful couple and have a second chance to have a loving relationship if they can stay alive long enough. I highly recommend you read their adventure here.
What a great, fitting end to 2 series. I could not read fast enough wondering how it would end. I kept wondering "Is there really lost conquestor gold?" It is always hard to say good-bye to friends in books when the end comes. Ms. Hart does such an excellent job when she writes. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntaray opinion.
At last, the ending to the search for the conquistador’s gold! I love all the books in both series. Nash is the perfect ending. One last taste of the excitement, danger and of course romance that has filled both series. I highly recommend you start at the beginning of the search with Book 1, The Stone Family Inn. You won’t be disappointed .
Nash and Amy's story is a great finish to this series! It is filled with wonderful characters, both from the Cross and Stone families as they continue the search for the Conquistador's gold. The suspense and romance are a perfect balance.
Excellent drama fills this story. Intriguing, adventurous, mysterious, and very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Two families come together to solve a mystery that involves both.
This is a very interesting, exciting and suspenseful story. Nash has a story worth reading. The excitement in this story keeps you reading. Love the end of the story.
NASH is the end of a multi family saga of the long lost gold and its search. Each of the stories can be read alone or as a set. They are full of mystery, suspense and a lot of sweet clean romance.
What a satisfying ending to this series! I have enjoyed both series dealing with the conquistador's lost gold. The large families and the constant danger they found themselves in as they searched for the lost treasure has given me hours of entertainment. I must say that it's hard for me to imagine having as much money as the Stones or the Crosses. Thank goodness they don't let money go to their heads.
Nash is looking for the gold and guess who he runs into? Amanda, his prom date who he never saw again after that night. She is also looking for the same gold. Wow what are the chances? I have loved this series as well as the South Port Beach series (Stone family). The author has done an amazing job of bringing these two families together and intertwining their lives to search for the gold. Full of intrigue, danger, mystery, romance and so much more. Loved seeing Nash and "Amanda", read the story and you will find out what the quotes mean, fall for each other all over again. Loved the ending.
