⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5)

The Indian Army's base in Nagrota (a place of peace posting as they say), in Jammu and Kashmir was attacked on 29 November 2016 by a group of Pakistani militants, trained under ISI and various terror groups. Pakistan never fails to try to upheaval the peace in its surroundings be it their prime adversary India because of different religious groups than theirs in here or be it Afghanistan due to the fights between the different terrorist groups for the better leadership roles among them.
India lost her 7 sons in this battle leaving whole nation disturbed and lives of their respective families incomplete forever. These Terrorists were trained specifically by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a worldwide designated terrorist group (except by Pakistan) under the leadership of Abdul Rauf Azhar Alvi, terrorist and brother of another prime terrorist Masood Azhar who founded this terrorist group in 2000.

This is one of those rare and powerful books that goes beyond the battlefield to capture the true cost of war. While the book meticulously documents the Nagrota terror attack in 2016 and the bravery of Indian soldiers, what truly sets it apart is the author’s sensitivity in highlighting the lives of the families left behind—the silent warriors who continue to live with courage, grief and pride.

Bhaavna Arora written with empathy and respect, ensuring that the martyrs are not reduced to mere names or statistics. The emotional depth with which she portrays the soldiers’ families adds a deeply human dimension, reminding each reader that every sacrifice echoes far beyond the frontline. The narrative is gripping and patriotic without being loud and grounded in reality.

From a Defense POV, the book stands out for its attention to operational realism. Bhaavna clearly brings out the discipline, preparedness and instant decision-making expected of soldiers even in moments of extreme chaos. The response to the attack, coordination between units, adherence to protocol and the mindset of “mission first” were portrayed with prime authenticity and pure respect. It also reflects the constant state of alertness under which soldiers operate, especially in high-risk zones (like Nagrota became one afterwards), where complacency can cost lives.

However, There are few glitches I feel could be opted out when this book must have gone under editor's scrutiny, but left unchecked. For example,
👉 Munir's tenure in Pakistan written of 11 years in Chapter-2, but it was different in numbers on one another page.
👉 On another page, where there was about Vinod's posting in Siachen, temp. difference was shown in Meerut and Siachen with a variance of 100 degrees between (-40) to (+40) Degrees but for real it must be only 80 Degrees.
👉 Another incident is from Akshay and Neha's School fight where first it was stated in Neha's words as four boys beating Akshay but later in same conversation after few dialogues it was restated as five boys.
👉 When Sangeeta had to admit in Hospital it was written that Unlike other civil hospitals v/s that particular hospital where she was actually admitted. It should have been mentioned that either she was admitted in some private hospital or MH 'Unlike other civil hospitals'.

Few sections may feel heavy due to the emotional intensity, but that in itself reflects the gravity of the subject. Overall, this book stands as a heartfelt tribute to India’s Bravehearts and their families, making it a must-read for anyone who wishes to truly understand the price of freedom that we get to live our lives with, in each moment, day after day.

On 29th November 2016, the terrorists carried out a ghastly attack on the Nagrota Army Base in Jammu & Kashmir. The terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for targeting the site.

”What good is a sacrifice if not chronicled?”

What started with a report on a stolen mobile phone opened a can of worms that led the decorated officers towards a trail operated on a web of lies.

”The fear of the unknown is always greater than the fear of the known.”

’Nagrota Under Siege’ chronicles one of the most deadly attacks on the Indian soil. The orchestrated chain of events by the antisocial elements exposes the depth of infiltration and the calculated menace aimed at destabilising the region and demoralising the forces guarding it.

Arora narrates the facts backed with meticulous research and testimonies of the army officers. The sensitivity with which the investigative accounts are handled renders an emotional layer. The depiction of the army camps transported me to ground zero. The rigorous training subjected to the army personnel that tested their preparedness elevated the respect they commanded a notch higher.

”Quietly, he put on his uniform, looked lovingly back at his wife and daughter, before gently closing the door shut without latching it.”

The grit, valour and the sacrifice of our brave hearts moved me tremendously. Courageous are not only the officers, but also their families who permit them to be sons and daughters of the country.

Arora’s strength lies in humanizing the brave soldiers in uniform. Her storytelling abilities shine while narrating their back stories of how protecting the country came at a cost of sacrificing their lives to protect common people. The factual element is seamlessly woven with the emotional fabric the story is knit with.

This book hit me hard. It’s based on a real terror attack — and as you read, you can literally feel the courage, fear, and heartbreak. 💔
Seven brave hearts of the Indian Army, including two officers, make the ultimate sacrifice for the country… and their stories stay with you long after you finish.

I love how it brings alive the human side — the wives waiting back home, their strength and pain, the families, and the bonds between soldiers. 💫 It’s emotional, sensitive, and written straight from the heart.

The first few chapters feel warm and real — school days, friendships, love, marriage, dreams — before the story shifts into something intense and unforgettable. ⚔️

The author also touches on the larger picture — terror threats, politics, and the mindset behind such attacks — in a way that’s simple yet thought-provoking.

You can tell this book is deeply researched and written with compassion. It’s not just a war story — it’s a tribute to those who live and die for the nation. 🇮🇳

A short, powerful read with 14 chapters that’ll leave you emotional and proud. ❤️

This book hit me right in the heart, Bhaavna Arora tells the story of Nagrota with such raw emotion, you feel like you’re right there with the soldiers.

Nagrota Under Siege by Bhaavna Arora is a gripping and emotional true story about the 2016 terrorist attack on the Indian Army base in Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir. The book details how three militants from Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the army unit, leading to intense gunfights and the eventual death of seven brave soldiers, including senior officers. Bhaavna Arora, through five years of research and interviews with families affected, presents the story not just as a military encounter but a deeply human tale of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.

The narrative shifts between past and present, helping us understand the background of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and the severe challenges faced by the armed forces daily. It shows the soldiers not just as fighters but as people with dreams, families, and emotions.

The author doesn’t politicize the events but focuses on the bravery and teamwork that saved lives during the attack. It’s a powerful, moving tribute and reading this made me appreciate the sacrifices our soldiers make every single day.

Why must you read?
-A worthy rendition of a real life tragedy
-An engaging story that celebrates humanity and its resilience

The word makes up the world. Woven into stories, it runs the globe and stalls it too. In this, imagination is its ally. It fuels the mind of the inhabitants of the planet. Stories are our fodder. Even when these stories are in the packaging of “non-fiction”, the style of writing is more engaging when it is told in a storytelling format and not bogged down by copious data, tables, pie charts and notes. In her book, Bhaavna Arora has achieved just that.

Nagrota Under Siege is a part police procedural drama, part tear-jerker, part investigative journalism part military actioner. But it is a full on engaging story. Taking the threads of the attack on the Nagrota Army Base in Jammu and Kashmir in 29 November 2016, the author has woven a story that is not only satisfying to see the comeuppance received by the terrorists for their heinous attack, it is also moving in its account of the surviving families whose brave children gave their lives in this barbaric attack on humanity.

So what exactly happened in Nagrota? The highly trained and heavily armed terrorists had infiltrated from across the LoC and gained entry from the forest behind the camp. Firing mercilessly to cause maximum damage, they were on a revenge mission after the Indian Army’s successful surgical strikes on terror camps just two months earlier. The Indian Army personnel inside the camp played a crucial role in securing the lives of those present in the family accommodations as well as the camp, and many bravely laid down their lives.

The story reads like a thriller but a thriller becomes dry if it doesn't have an emotional anchor. Arora roots the story in the tumultuous emotions that seized the survivors. Can there be anything more unfortunate than losing your family members in a mindless, hateful terrorist attack? Can there be anything more unjustified than taking lives of people in the name of a cause?

The author begins the story with a moving prologue where Major Akshay Girish's life partner Sangeeta discovers his broken glasses on the spot where he sacrificed his life. There are many more such passages where she has put the spotlight not on the attack but on its survivors and the people caught in the crossfires. She has tried to find the humanity of the people who were both the victims and the heroes of this attack.
Have a look at these emotional lines:
"Children owe a lot to their parents for what they become. Meghna wanted her children to have the assurance of her continued support. She wanted them to have the courage to stand for what they believed in. She was proud of her son and knowing he was right, was ready to defend him at any cost. Akshay was also a caring and expressive son. Even.though he was so young, when Meghna returned home after a long day at college, he would head straight to the kitchen and bring her a glass of water. He insisted she rest a few moments before beginning her chores. The mother-son bond was becoming more special each passing day."

Like a seasoned writer, Arora knows her onions. She just doesn't dump exposition or the book will turn into a newspaper. She combines the information with emotions, putting strong dialogues and scene settings in between. Have a look:
"After exchanging goodbyes, the trio covered their heads with green bands stamped with 'Afzal Guru Squad' and walked stealthily towards the nullah. In the blink of an eye, they vanished into the darkness of the night-the sort of darkness that swallows light and their destiny, which they certainly knew."

The investigative portions are just as engaging. Have a look:
"When Ashiq discovered that his wife was suffering from cancer, he knew had to make more money and that too quickly, for her treatment. He decided to play for the other side and a proposal came his way from Waseem. He was deputed to facilitate the infiltration of three fidayeens to India and was promised a sum of Rs 30 lakh in return. He discussed it with Munir and both of them snagged the deal. For Munir and Ashiq, it was not so much about the money as about their loyalties towards jihad and Pakistan. Having worked for Tariq for almost a year, Munir knew that he could be exploited for money. So, he threw a bone of Rs 2 crore to Tariq and he became a part of the plan."

Arora has painstakingly written the details of the lives of the people whose homes were broken by this attack. It's moving, it's infuriating, it's satisfying, it's emotional and it's everything a story should be. Only if this were just a story, and not reality.

Bring this story home this Diwali.

Bhaavna Arora’s “Nagrota Under Siege” is a work that stands at the intersection of history, journalism, and human emotion. Rooted in the tragic and heroic events of the 2016 Nagrota terror attack, the book reconstructs the incident with a sensitivity and precision rarely seen in military narratives.

From the very first chapter, the atmosphere is charged with urgency. The sound of gunfire, the coordination inside the command rooms, and the unnerving silence that follows each loss are rendered with such clarity that they transcend the page. The author’s ability to create immediacy, despite working within a non-fiction framework, is what gives this narrative its cinematic power.

What truly elevates “Nagrota Under Siege” beyond a standard war account is its emotional architecture. Instead of focusing solely on tactical operations or political implications, Bhaavna Arora chooses to humanize every soldier involved. She gives each of them an identity, a rhythm of life, and a personal story that quietly runs parallel to the sound of conflict. These intimate glimpses into their lives like small domestic details, fleeting conversations, the hopes and anxieties of their families transform the book into something far more profound than reportage. It becomes a portrait of collective humanity under extraordinary pressure.

This is where the author’s strength lies: in her capacity to balance research with empathy. You can feel the depth of her fieldwork, the interviews, and the emotional labour that went into recreating each moment of the siege. Yet, she never lets data overshadow emotion. Every soldier’s name is treated not as a statistic but as a life lived fully and cut short with consequence. The reader doesn’t just observe the loss; they feel it. When a soldier falls, it echoes like a personal grief.

Stylistically, “Nagrota Under Siege” uses a cinematic script format, a choice that adds an element of immediacy and visual depth to the storytelling. Each scene feels choreographed yet spontaneous. The dialogue, the shifts in perspective, and the detailed action sequences read like screenplay beats, blurring the lines between literature and film. This structure keeps the pacing taut, making the book accessible even to readers unfamiliar with military or strategic language.

Bhaavna also displays a strong grasp of the psychological tension inherent in service life. She portrays not just the battlefield but also the quieter battle that unfolds within the minds of soldiers; the waiting, the moral conflicts, and the thin line between fear and duty. The portrayal of the families, especially their resilience and endurance, adds another dimension to the book. It reminds readers that wars are not fought by soldiers alone but by everyone who loves them.

What lingers after reading is not just the memory of the operation or the tactical success but the emotional residue of sacrifice. Bhaavna doesn’t glorify war; she reveals its cost, both visible and unseen. The narrative makes you pause and reflect on how easily the country forgets the human faces behind every headline.

In essence, “Nagrota Under Siege” is not just about an event, it’s about remembrance. It asks readers to look beyond medals and uniforms, to see the fragility of the human spirit wrapped in courage. It stands as a document of valor, vulnerability, and truth, reminding us that every victory is also an accumulation of silent heartbreaks.

For readers who appreciate true-event narratives, military literature, and emotionally driven non-fiction, this book is both an education and an experience. It doesn’t demand tears or patriotism; it earns them.

My verdict is that the book is deeply researched, emotionally resonant, and strikingly humane. Bhaavna Arora’s “Nagrota Under Siege” is one of the most honest portrayals of courage in contemporary Indian writing.

Whenever I’m suggested or offered to read a defense novel, especially one based on the Indian military, I approach it with great devotion. I take my time with every page, making sure I understand the jargons, the strategies, and the emotions woven into the story.

Nagrota Under Siege serves as an excellent read for anyone aspiring to join the defense forces. The military terminologies, weapons, and operational details are explained in a manner that’s both engaging and easy to grasp.

One of the most impressive aspects of the book is the vivid description of the officers’ quarters — the very map that later becomes central to the terrorists’ operation. I found myself mentally sketching the layout as I read, completely immersed in the narrative.

The backstories of every personnel involved add a deep emotional layer to the plot. At times, I had to pause, gather myself, and continue reading with a heavy heart, dreading the inevitable turn of events.

The book beautifully takes you into the past of each individual who played a part in the Nagrota operation, helping you understand what they stood for and the lives they touched.

Maj. Akshay Girish’s story, in particular — from his birth and upbringing to his love life and his remarkable character — keeps you deeply connected throughout. It truly portrays what it means to stand tall in the face of crisis. And how even a mother undergoing postpartum recovery finds the strength to protect her child amid chaos.
I was deeply moved by Maj Kunal’s character as well. The way he instinctively grabbed his bulletproof vest and rushed forward to face the crisis, laying down his life just to locate the militants, is truly awe-inspiring. A man of valor, a man true to his word and duty — his courage
Every page moves you, fills you with pride, and strengthens your respect for our armed forces. By the time you finish, your admiration for our nation’s guardians will have multiplied by ten folds.

"The fear of the unknown is always greater than the fear of the known."

Indian army and the brave soldiers are the perfect amalgamation of sacrifice, affection and courage when it is their duty to their motherland. Often, we as the common people honour their uniforms, respect their dedication but don't talk much about their emotions for their personal relationships and raw emotions for their loved ones. In this book, Bhaavna Arora has portrayed the heroic men of Indian army in a balanced way while highlighting their feelings both for their family and the country.

"Nagrota Under Siege" by Bhaavna Arora is a gripping narrative about the harrowing terror attack in Nagrota on 29th November, 2016. The book feels like a nail biting thriller at the first few chapters, emotional and relaxing in the middle while painful along with pride at the end. It also shows that no incident like a case of phone theft is simple in the sensational valley of Kashmir; rather we can say the economical structure of the place doesn't allow its people to lead a one dimensional life. No one can trust the other blindly.

The pages of the book capture the beliefs, mindset and the brainwash process of the fidayeens meticulously and the whole storytelling is undoubtedly heart touching. Only I can say that no words will be able to express the national heroes' sacrifice in a proper way and the mortification showed by their family is painful and respectful simultaneously. This book is highly recommended for the readers who are eager to read about Indian army and their destiny in a real incident.

"Like choosing a girl for marriage was a personal choice, so was choosing the arm that a soldier was going to be serving in for the rest of his life until he retired."

🪖 Honestly speaking, unlike the Uri attack and the Pahalgam attack, I had no idea about this particular terrorist attack of 2016, and I think that is a shameful thing, as most people don't know what sacrifices have been made for the freedom we are enjoying.

🪖 The book talks about a terrorist attack that happened in Nagrota in 2016, killing four Indian army soldiers, along with an officer killed in a gun battle.

🪖 The attack's pattern seems similar to Uri's, killing soldiers when they are at their most vulnerable, sleeping or having family time, when they are least prepared—the same cowardice by terrorists.

🪖 The book includes not just the officers' journey from normal civilian to army soldiers or their contribution in civil services, but it also includes their life behind their work.

🪖 Their family moments, childhood, dreams, and their journey of getting married to their life partner are all included, which prove that particular statement true.

🪖 "The families of these armed forces are the army behind the army."

🪖 These families and their life partners always stand like strong pillars so these soldiers can fight on the front foot. Normal people like us can't even imagine the terror they go through, plus the change of locations, unknown people, and unknown threats on a daily basis.

🪖 The book seems well researched and supported well by facts and practical situations.

🪖 I can feel goosebumps from the patriotism and selfless service to the nation, putting everything for the country and leaving their loved ones sobbing for a life.

🪖 Overall, a memoir that deserves recognition

Bhaavna Arora's "Nagrota Under Siege" is above all, an emotional piece of literature, a brief, yet traumatic experience of one of the most tragic and courageous histories of India. Based on the 2016 terrorist attack in Nagrota Army base in Jammu & Kashmir. This piece of nonfiction tells the detailed accounts of the emotional experience through in-depth, careful research, subtly representing human behaviours in the midst of human realities to reveal courage in the heart of gunfire.

The beauty of this book comes from the experience of its humanity. Arora spent five years finding on-the-ground interviews, gathering the experience of family members of the martyred, and stories of the happenings within a journalist's eyes. She included, but did not only rely on the concrete details of the factual events, instead she softened it to breathe life into stories of soldiers, their fears, bravery, and duty. An intense experience of married narrative with facts.

⭐️ Key Points:

💙 Emotional weight: This isn’t just another militarily documented record, it is an emotional tribute to those who died that day, their families, and a reminder to all of the sacrifice.

🤍Readable: The book is written in clear, emotional vocabulary that will be easy to read, even if it leaves you feeling deeply in the end.

💚Educational: This is about a lesser known but important incident in India’s ongoing challenge with terrorism, that added to your knowledge of the subject.

Whether you're reading as a layperson, a history geek, or a patriot, "Nagrota Under Siege" will leave you continually thoughtful and respectful. It is more than a book…it is a salute to those who stood brave when their country needed them the most.

This book describes the attack on the Army Base in Nagrota ,Jammu on 29th November, 2016.

The book goes into detail about the officers posted at the camp on the fateful day and peeks behind the curtain to bring into view their lives outside the uniform as well. The book dedicates chapters to the different officers detailing their personal and familial lives.

The detailed description about the different soldiers sheds light on the individual in the uniform. The well researched information adds a humane aspect to the officers lives. This poignantly narrates the sacrifices of the families left behind by those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

The wholesome lives of the officers full of love was destroyed in mere minutes. The intricate details of the attack and the modus operandi of the event has been described elaborately. The event is yet again a testament to the bravery of our armed forces and the amount of loss suffered by them as well as their families.

From the descriptions of innocent children who lost their parent to the families who lost their support and loved one, the stories of those associated with the attack will leave you teary eyed as well as evoke a sense of respect . The pictures added in the book of the officers with their families makes the reader connect with the book even more.

The amount of the effort gone into the narration to pen down this significant event is equally applaudable.

It is a narration of the bravery of our forces and a heartfelt account of those involved. A must read for every Indian.

"IF YOU FEEL ALONE, THINK OF ME. I CANT PROMISE I WILL BE IN FRONT OF YOU, BUT WHEN YOU CLOSE OF YOUR EYES, YOU WILL SEE ME ."

I picked this book out of curiosity and ended up feeling proud but also a bit shattered.

Long story short, this wasn’t on my TBR list, but one of my dear friends recommended it, and of course, I had to give it a try. Honestly, I thought after reading a few pages I’d fall asleep because, let’s be real, this genre usually isn’t written in a way that keeps you hooked. But after those first few pages, I was crying like a baby.

The reason wasn’t just that someone lost their son, father, or husband it was the weight of incomplete promises, the hope of celebrating festivals together, the urge to watch a child’s school performance… everything left unfinished, everything left broken.

I couldn’t sleep that night until I finished the book. The way Bhavna Arora has written it I truly appreciate her. The events may be real, but not everyone has the courage and talent to portray them with such emotion and dignity.

It’s a gentle request read this book not for anyone else, but for yourself. Feel how important the present truly is. We never know what tomorrow brings, so love your people wholeheartedly today so that when you leave, you don’t carry the weight of incomplete promises.

The detailing in every scene makes it all feel so real I could see it unfolding as I read, and that was enough to give me goosebumps.

Some books shake you. Others humble you. Nagrota Under Siege did both. I picked it up thinking I was familiar with the Nagrota attack it was all over the news back then but reading this book made me realize how little we really know about what our soldiers endure in those terrifying moments.

This isn’t just a retelling of an attack; it’s a deeply human story. Each page pulses with raw courage and quiet sacrifice the kind that doesn’t make headlines but forms the backbone of who we are as a nation. The author doesn’t dramatize or glorify; instead, the writing carries an emotional honesty that hits you harder than any action sequence ever could. You feel the fear, the chaos, the impossible calm of men who chose duty over life.

What moved me most was how compassionately the book brings out the families’ perspective the long silences, the unspoken worry, the pride laced with pain. It reminds you that bravery isn’t confined to the battlefield; it lives in every parent, spouse, and child who learns to wait, hoping for a voice on the other end of the line.

By the end, I found myself reading slower almost unwilling to turn the last page. Because Nagrota Under Siege doesn’t just narrate an event; it bears witness. It reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the decision to stand firm despite it.

This book isn’t an easy read but it’s one that every Indian must read. To understand. To remember. And to never take peace for granted.

"Nagrota Under Siege" by Bhaavna Arora is a heartfelt story based on the 2016 terrorist attack at the Nagrota cantonment—an incident that still haunts many. The author has done extensive research to present this story and give us real accounts of how the Indian Army faced that horrifying event with grit, tenacity, and bravery, as well as the aftermath of the devastating incident.

The author’s writing style is so profound and immersive that you are drawn into the story from the very first page. Your heart breaks alongside the beautifully devastating portrayal of the emotions of three women—one who lost her son, one who lost her twin, and one who lost her husband, all in one tragic moment. The narrative then moves into a gripping investigation.

Another part I love about the book is that the author not only highlights the valour, courage, and patriotism of the Indian Army but also shows how strong their families are. She captures their humanity—their simple dreams and desires—and emphasizes the cruelty of violence and how it shatters lives.

I have nothing but praise for this book. The author recounts the entire incident with sensitivity and brings forth a reality we barely know about but should never forget. This book is a perfect tribute to the heroes whose sacrifices allow us to live in peace. Definitely a book everyone should read.

This is no ordinary story, as these are real people who have done real deeds and left behind families and children. Despite the brevity, the book leaves a profound impact. The author doesn’t jump headlong into the combat. She takes a humane approach by introducing the reader to the dreams of these young men and women, their families, childhood, upbringing, highs and lows beyond the battlefield. While some had always dreamt of joining the armed forces, the others followed family traditions.

Arora also sensitises the reader to the turbulences and uncertainties of this unusual career. She reveals the tribulations of being based in harsh terrains, protecting the country’s borders. This also takes a toll on their wives and families.

In this book, the focus is on the encounter and lives of the people involved in Nagrota siege. The officers and soldiers come from different parts of the country, but the ‘nation first’ principle is deeply ingrained in their body, mind and heart.

A small selection of photographs is also included in the centre of the book, putting faces to the names and showing the weapons used by the militants.

This book is a must read for every citizen to understand the perils that the armed forces live with, their mental strengths, traumas and dreams. It is a true story of valour and patriotism.

This is a deeply moving and heartbreaking book that lingers in one's mind long after one has finished reading it. It is not about the terror attack but about the men behind the uniforms, their courage, their families, and the pain left behind.

Every chapter has been so real and raw that one can almost hear the echoes of the rounds of gunfire ringing and loved ones crying. She has captured in beautiful prose the spirit of the soldiers-ordinary human beings who turn extraordinary in the face of unimaginable danger. The bravery and sacrifice are related in such a fashion that one cannot feel otherwise but a surge of pride and grief together. The stories of Maj.Akshay Girish and Maj. Kunal tore through my heart to show what true devotion to duty means. What really sets this novel apart, however, is the empathy with which it has been written.

Bhaavna Arora doesn't just write about war; she writes of love, of loss, of resilience. It is a tribute to the heroes who gave all for our safety and to the families who silently bear the weight of their absence.Nagrota Under Siege is not an easy read, but it is an important one. It reminds one of the price of peace and is a book every Indian should read with respect and pride.

An absolutely brilliant, just, comforting and catharsis-inducing ode to the brave lost to Nagrota. Very few works of writing are able to do justice to humane aspects of tactical events in the annals of military history. To ensure said justice with care, respect and deference speaks volumes of Ms Arora's competence, care and commitment employed in the writing and publishing of this book.
