Remember when I said being a teenager is bullshit?
It still is—but so is trying to go to college while dodging murderers, mean girls, and salacious counselors who won’t leave you alone.
As the miraculous predatory bunny, I’ve become the lynchpin for everyone’s evil plans.
Since the attack at the Yule Ball, the Council isn’t playing games with the rebels. All the remaining heirs are being sent to the European academy--including this bunny, my five hottie boyfriends, my BFFs, and a crew of misfits.
They think they can keep screwing with me and I’ll take it because I’m prey.
Joke’s on I’ve survived everything thrown at me only to get smarter and stronger.
If the Council and the magical rebels keep gunning for me, they’re going to find out what happens when I let the bunny out of the box.
Karma is coming and I’m ready to serve it up with a wink and a smile.

I had to re read all the previous books once this one came out and I’m almost didn’t finish this one. It took me a few days when normally I’m through within a day. This is what I didn’t like. The consistent description of what they were experiencing. What the outside looks like, the room they walk into, what they were wearing, what the bullies are wearing. There was a sizeable difference between outside descriptions and actual words and conversations being had. It was quite slow in many spots, where there was a lull, and all they did was worry, Dolly being bullied, and discussing all the enemies coming for them. How Rufus lawyer is going to legally fight all her bullies and how it seems the entire literal world is against her and in association the guys. The good. She finally bonds with Fitz, and I think Rennie, which of course follows suit from previous sexy times in the previous books. A paragraph of the deed, and even then, it was more alluded too versus actually mentioned as a description. Very short scenes, but what was interesting was that Dolly seems to have a new form, her normal size but furry and with sharper teeth and claws. This came after Fitz and her bonding but it doesn’t really get spoken about much. I love how the guys are all working together so seamlessly. I love Fitz’s spicy nick names for them all but especially their favourite librarian dragon Aubrey. Aubrey is learning the how to chill and not react. Dolly has it down pat on how to react to each of them when their anxiety’s and pet peeves rises up. Things that seem obvious to me. Coach Z or Zengha and Cori are hooking up in secret. No one catches on, when their behavior changes at the same time, and how shifty they get when someone questions them. Rufus is mysteriously absent during these pondering moments. Felix has seemed rigid in his training but it helped Dolly when she needed it in the ring. Toned her up and coach z’s training allowed Dolly win in the ring. I hated how I had to read a full books worth of bullying and there was not one instant where she clapped back at them. Besides fighting done in training. Dolly let them all talk down to her, and when she didn’t react they got worse. Farley and his goons went to her Counsellor and told her off for her, and that was about the only time anyone stuck up for her. It was rough to read because as the reader if there is a ton of background building where the female lead character gets bullied a lot, there has to be a point where they clap back at the masses. I thought for sure in the 5th book there would be at least some kind of chapter where she shows the bullies that she’s not who they accuse her of being but this book didn’t hint at a end the massive bullying she’s received at every fricken school she and the guys/friends are sent too almost every new semester. I really enjoy Cassandra’s books but I’m getting tired of the same old same old. I need something that makes me want to turn the page. I finished it but not as quick as I expected I would. Hopefully Dolly catches a break in the next book. I need to read something that balances out the rough bullying Dolly has received. Thankfully, at the start of every book, there is a summary of the previous books, so no need to re read.
Apex Academy Capers is my favorite Cassandra Featherstone series. Heck, it may be my favorite series, period. Eat Prey Love was sensational!
New place, same old BS. Dolly, her guys, and the gang are in France, starting the semester at lá Academie. This was supposed to be the artsy, more laid-back school. If only. Dolly already had a lot of enemies, and it looks like the Frenchies are piling on as well. Dolly came out so strong at the end of IPwT, it was a little disconcerting to see her backslide a little. However, it's hard to keep a good bunny down, Dolly stayed strong. She didn't let the bullying impede her progress, she kept going forward. I loved Dolly's sass in this, her claws are coming out. The guys have duped her and Fitz, the Terror Twins, haha. I also enjoyed how Dolly’s and her guys' relationships are progressing. I liked the dates, they were adorable, but I kind of liked it when they went psycho more.
Of course, I loved the humor. I got a clearer understanding of what may have happened between the shifters and the magicals. No wonder the fae are pissed. The hunt for proof is on and leads to some pretty interesting places and things. This all leads to the vague reveal of Reenie's past in a letter that couldn't help but make me sympathize with him. Actually, it's bringing up a lot of stuff with all of them, and I can only guess what else this little hunt is going to reveal. The best surprise had to be Rufus' cousin, the country lawyer, Farley, and his crew. Apparently, badgers make fierce opponents, I'm so glad they're on Dolly’s side.
OMG! This time Cass left us dangling over a cliff with that ending. Then she fixed it with a bonus scene that I highly suggest reading. I struggled with the wait for Eat Prey Love, but this next wait is going to be even worse. Ugh.
Our favorite bunny is back, and she brings with her some new fascinating friends and some known adversaries we all love to see taken down… The closer Dolly and her mates become, the more I love to see them interact with each other. The comfort they feel within their found family is inspiring, and I admire how they accept each person no matter what. And let’s be honest: their crazy antics at times make it even better.
I have to admit, the more Dolly has do deal with the meanies around her, the more I understand Fitz’ ideas on dealing with them all. If I could, I might start collecting jars so he can begin gathering parts as quickly as possible. Even my blood starts boiling at times with everything Dolly has to endure, so I love to see her gain confidence, power and friends to counter all the bad in her life.
I love some of the new characters that are introduced in this book, but somehow my biggest fascination lies with a species we haven’t even met yet… I’m really curious about the next book, and how it will dive into the past of Dolly’s lovely men.
So good!!! I binge read the previous books again before reading this one. God i love this harem. The banter, the love, the growth both individually and as a group *chef’s kiss*. I pretty much didnt sleep because i read all the books at once to refresh my memory. I don’t want to wait now for the next book!!!! It gave me a reading hangover and now i an frantically trying to find similar stories haha.
Dolly is back and is being sent to a different school with her boyfriends, friends and some others. She will need to deal with new friends and even enemies as everyone assumes she will be the prey to their games. See how she will deal with it all
Okay I have ADORED this series and I’m sad to say this latest book was a tad disappointing in some areas.
Let’s start with what was great: (slight spoilers)
Plot progression was awesome. Any answers we get are followed by more questions in this never ending mystery but I am here for it. Once everything is answered it’s going to be so satisfying I’m so excited. Poor Dolly just can’t catch a break, but she stays strong through it all. It’s great.
Loved the progression of the relationships. I love that she’s not just jumping into mating her men at the first chance and I also love that each one gets there’s own special moment. I also love how good Dolly is at knowing how to act and respond to the moods of her men and I love even more that it’s not just her that knows. They know how to respond to her as well.
I love that Dolly encompasses so many aspects to who she is. She’s not black and white and she’s not a cardboard cutout. She’s sweet, innocent, and naive in some ways, cutthroat, determined, and generally badass in others, but she always has some unhinged moments that I eat up when she’s with Fitz.
I love that none of them men take a back seat in any of the books. They are all just as prevalent in the story.
Things that disappointed me:
Really it was mostly dialogue. The prequel and first book, I loved. There were barely any (if any) cheesy dialogue moments. Book 2, there were some in the beginning but it didn’t persist throughout the book so it’s something I could overlook. This book…. It was a lot more. That was something I loved about this series. It’s so common in romance books, ESPECIALLY in RH, to have those waaaay too cheesy dialogues that you could never see actually happening without gagging a little if it were to happen in real life, not a book. This book had more than just a few. It felt kinda constant to point of being super unnecessary.
The repetition. For the first 50%, I swear it felt like every chapter from a male POV talked about how much they’ve changed since Dolly came around. But every character said the same thing over and over. That they’re able to joke around more or they’re more lighthearted or less broody. Whatever wording they used, they essentially repeated themselves in. Every. Chapter. It started seriously driving me crazy. Luckily after about halfway through it stopped but good lord did it make me want to stop reading a few times or just skim chapters. It was a super let down because I know this is an amazing author who writes so well, and this things weren’t there in the past books, so I don’t know what happened. Hopefully the next book (whenever it finally comes out 🥲) has improved in this area.
Overall, still loving the series. I’m dying to know what’s going to happen!!
I’m gonna start this off by saying it truly pains me to write a negative review about this series. I am an OG fan. I read the original two books and ungodly amount of times and that includes the original original two books (IYKYK) because I loved them so much. This book was filler garbage 1. Absolutely nothing gets resolved. In fact, we are still hashing over the same people and problems from the beginning and instead of having any kind of resolution to any of those extra storylines or conflicts, the author heaps on more conflict and enemies to the point where I have now lost track of them all. She’s still crying about Todd and the Heathers and we haven’t even heard from them in like a book and a half. She’s at a completely new school that has all the same problems as the old schools because everybody hates her and everybody is out to get her, again. Yawn. 2. The only good thing that came out of this book was the fact that she finally mates 2 of them, and one of them was very anticlimactic. 3. The Rockland drama is petty and should not have taken up so much time. we’ve gone through two books of this nonsense with this woman for something that should be an annoyance at best considering all the other world ending problems they have. 4. Their major enemy should be the Fae, that’s what the last book set it up for. but in this book, they don’t even get mentioned until like 83% of the way in which is why this book is a giant filler. 5. The alliteration needs to stop. It’s a dead horse. 6. Last but not least the male characters spend 90% of their time blowing smoke up her cottontail making sure to tell her how amazing she is and how everybody else sucks so much. Every slight is an emergency meeting where someone is gonna die over disrespecting her. Her bunny ears are gonna get too big for her head.
If you’re thinking about reading this installment, I would honestly suggest skipping it because this whole storyline is basically a rip off of book number two. Or you could do like I did and skim through about 75% of the book to at least get to parts that have something relevant towards concluding the story or getting answers that we’ve been waiting three books for. If I didn’t want to see the confrontation between Renard and this other woman (yeah I’m baited by the owd lol) then I wouldn’t read the next book. Sorry CF but you let down this die hard bunny fan with this book
🦊 Snarky predators, dangerous plots, and a bunny who refuses to be anyone’s prey. 🐇
College life is hard enough without murderers, mean girls, and counselors who don’t know what “boundaries” means. For Delores—the miraculous predatory bunny—every step at Apex Academy is a test of survival. After the chaos at the Yule Ball, the Council has had enough. Now, all the heirs—including Delores and her five smoking-hot boyfriends—are shipped off to the European academy, along with her BFFs and a band of misfits who’ve learned to never underestimate a bunny.
But the Council and the rebels have made one big mistake. They think Delores will keep rolling over like the prey they believe her to be. She’s survived their schemes, gotten stronger, and learned to sharpen her wit (and her claws). If they keep gunning for her, they’re about to find out what happens when the bunny breaks free of her box—because karma is coming, and Delores is more than ready to dish it out with a wink and a smile.
Why You’ll Love It:
Sassy, Strong Heroine: Delores isn’t your typical prey—she’s a bunny who knows how to bite back. Reverse Harem Goodness: Five devoted boyfriends = five times the fun, heat, and heart. Humor & Heat: Expect witty banter, laugh-out-loud moments, and sizzling chemistry. High-Stakes Magical Politics: Between the Council, rebels, and rival academies, Delores’s world is layered with intrigue and danger. Survive the schemes, outsmart the predators, and watch Delores prove that bunnies can be just as deadly as any beast. Eat. Prey. Love. is the ultimate blend of humor, action, and romance, and it’s ready to hop right into your TBR pile.
Well what another fantastic addition to this wonderful series. I feel like crying that I've gone through it so quickly as I feel like I've waited forever for this book (haven't really) and now I have to wait over again 😫
I really love Dolly and her men plus all the friends she had round her are a Godsend because this poor girl just never gets a single break. I just don't understand how her Mother could have that much reach to have each and every school's pupils and teachers hate her daughters on her orders????
Her Grandfather made her mother send Dolly to this new school as he wants her for sketchy reasons so why continue having everyone give her a hard time because it's just going to push them all to leave. God even the headmistress was going to expel her due to her mother's meddling so is the evil mother going against the evil Grandfather????
Also come on Dolly you are a clever girl, why can't you see who the lovely Coco is dating?? I'm glad as I really like Z and hope they are mates. Also why hasn't anyone put it together that it's her Mum doing all this.
I don't want to wait for the next one as loads of stuff is going to be revealed and she still has 3 mates to mate. I was hoping Felix would be 2nd as he is the only one without a mate bless him.
It's such a brilliant series and lots of funny parts (crazypants I love you). I could picture that yoga pose he did at the end with his legs 🦵 pumping up and down lol.
I want to know also the rest of Dolly's heritage as she was not his daughter. I'm wondering if her Mum is hers too as we know she went to someone for help to have Dolly I think? But does she have any of her dna? It's strange how she was brought up being told lie after lie and always being threatened by them.
Anyway if you have yet to join this fun train then hop straight on with book 1, you will have the ride of your life.
Thank you Cassandra for another great read. Happy holidays🎄
I adored this addition to the Apex Academy series. Dolly's journey continues as the schools keep getting shut down and the next move takes them to France. There is a lot of relationship development. Dolly's connection to each MMC is deepening. Her Dragon's understanding of what she needs in order to move forward in their relationship was beautiful. I really liked that part. But I do agree with another r3vi3w3r, that in a 600+ page book, Dolly and Rennie's moment could have gotten a few more pages. I don't want to give anything away (I really dislike spoilers LOL), so I'll just say, that the action and intricate troubles keep following the fluffle. When one thing is solved, ten new complications arise. We meet new characters (so exciting ones at those), old annoyings are following, but this bunny bows down to nobody who does not treat her right. My absolute favorite part of these books are the banter and ripping each other out. In particular I adore Fiz's ever changing nicknames. How does CF keep coming up with new ones? LOL Ad to that an awesome plot, plenty of chemistry, epic friends, plot twists galore, and all the steam, and I'm in book-heaven. True to form, this ends in a cliffie (of course it does, cause 2 more books are planned) and I'm excited to get the final two installments. If you love action and plot heavy stories, banter and LOL moments alike with the urge to roll eyes at the sillyness in your romance books, this is a must read series (and must be read in order). Oh Holy Spite is book 4,5 and I highly recommend reading it before this book.
Eat. Prey. Love. delivers the perfect mix of humor, action, and romance, with a dash of sharp wit that will keep you laughing from start to finish. Our favorite bunny, Dolly, returns with a vengeance, surrounded by a cast of new allies and old adversaries. This book is an exhilarating ride, with Dolly and her mates navigating treacherous plots, snarky predators, and a world that underestimates just how dangerous a bunny can be.
The chemistry between Dolly and her companions continues to be one of the highlights. The closer they grow as a team, the more engaging their interactions become, adding layers to an already well-developed story. Watching Delores (Dolly) outsmart and outmaneuver the predators who think they can prey on her is always satisfying, and it’s clear this bunny isn’t backing down anytime soon.
One of the most exciting aspects of this installment is the introduction of intriguing new characters, though I find myself most fascinated by a species we’ve yet to meet. The suspense is building, and I can't wait to see where the story goes next. And let’s not forget the bonus scene at the end—definitely a must-read!
If you're looking for a series that blends adventure with laughs and keeps you hooked, Eat. Prey. Love. is a must-read. I’ve never laughed so hard while reading a book, and this series just keeps getting better. As always, this review is completely voluntary. I have received no compensation, and the opinions I’ve shared are entirely my own.
Eat. Prey. Love. Apex Academy Capers Book 4 is an outstanding addition to Cassandra Featherstone’s captivating series. Picking up right after the thrilling cliffhanger from the last book, we dive back into the journey with Dolly and her band of friends and family. This time, we find ourselves in France, welcomed by a new location, a fresh school, and formidable new enemies. Yet, amidst all the change, the familiar dynamics of bullying and conflict remain, making it a thrilling continuation of the story.
The world-building has expanded dramatically, revealing captivating details that keep the reader engaged from start to finish. Dolly’s found family once again proves their strength, showing just how seamlessly they come together. Their bond exemplifies the essence of family—acceptance and unwavering support. We see Dolly’s remarkable strength and fierce attitude shine through, although it’s becoming a bit predictable that she lets too much slide, especially considering how tough her Bunny really is with those sharp teeth and claws. And as expected, we’re left hanging on yet another cliffhanger, heightening our anticipation for Book 5!
If you’re a fan of academy why-choose romances, you absolutely must dive into this series. This book is packed with shifters, mates, mean girls, a strong female main character, mysteries, adventure, humor, and plenty of steam. Eat. Prey. Love. is the fourth book in the Apex Academy Capers series, and if you haven’t jumped in yet, now is the perfect time to start reading this incredible series by Cassandra Featherstone.

Eat. Prey. Love. Is the fourth book in the Apex Academy Capers series written by Cassandra Featherstone.
💜 shifters 💜 college setting 💜 mean girls 💜 why choose 💜 mysteries 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice
We find Dolly and her group traveling yet again for school. This time they are headed to France. They are going to have to stay on their toes as they don’t know who else is coming to this school and who will already be against them when they arrive. Will the group figure out who’s behind the disappearance of students? Will they figure out why they seem to be after Dolly? Will Dolly be able to focus on school without people trying to sabotage her work?
This was a great addition to this storyline. As always the world building and character building is so on point and keeps you engaged. Dolly also doesn’t disappoint with her wit and ability to charm those that she needs to charm. Every character within her group seems to also have their moments while also healing and growing. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one to come out.
So much happens in this book and it's making my Spidey senses malfunction. EPL picks up soon after the fae attack on the gala at the end of IPWT. Dolly and her fluffle have been sent to l'academie in France but unlike in the last relocation the group aren't really being accommodated nor accepted. The Guys aren't really teaching any classes they just sort of wait around and none of them have Dolly in their classes anymore either. We had the return of the whole Scooby gang with Cori and Rufus, plus Raina and the Captain with their whole crew, including Holliday 'the sniper' (nobody saw that one coming). The re-introduction of Farley and his crew of postmen was genius and Skelly might be my new favourite character. But the adventure continues with the impending war between pred shifters and literally everyone else. Hopefully we learn how the conniving council managed to delete entire species from history and relegate others to slavery. This book is a big one, but I loved every page.
Cassandra does it again! I have to say I love how open Cassandra is with us all. I love how she puts her personal touches at the beginning of her books. I loved how she moved the pronunciation of names and who the people were in the front. What I could have hugged her for is the previously on page!! I have read all the books, but I panicked at first because I wasn't remembering and that page brought it all back! With that being said this book was amazing (no surprise). Delores (Dolly) is back again with her amazing mates. Of course, as we know Dolly's mom is a real witch and some of the people around her makes me want to be more like Fitz, but I love watching Dolly and her men grow and the found family she now has. I couldn't put the book down and don't want to give anything away, but if you have read Cassandra's books you know it's going to be good. Cannot wait for the next book!!!
Dolly has to try and survive in Paris at her new new school. Her and her mates have a lot on their plates including Khan relatives who aren’t exiled from the ambush. Also they are in clutch territory and some people need to make amends with the past to help them in their way. This and a new foe is detected but we aren’t sure where they are. Plus Dolly actually needs to do well at school and the pred games where she will fight other predators who thinks bunny will be easy prey, but that’s not Dolly. It’s of new things to learn with plot twists and new enemies to deal with along with new allies in the form of her lawyers and entourage. I really hope I’m right about Coco’s secrets. I can’t wait to read the next book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I swear Cassandra Featherstone can do no wrong when it comes to spicy paranormal RH romance and her latest addition to the Apex Academy Capers series, Eat. Prey. Love, is no exception! I love Dolly and her rag tag team of shifters and loved being back in this amazing world Cassandra creates!
Picking up shortly after the fae attack at the end of the last book, with our group being sent to France but of course nothing is easy for Dolly and her men and the rest of her fearless group. I loved seeing everyone back and meeting new friends as they face yet again another adventure of endless drama, tensions bordering on war, conniving counsel members and of course lots of steam! If you’ve been a fan of this series from the beginning this is a must read for sure!
Delores is back, and better than ever. She and her harem of hunky mates are all sent to France to the prestege lá Academie. Facing even more enemies and bullying, our sassy bunny comes back stronger than ever. The best surprise had to be Rufus' cousin, the country lawyer, Farley, and his crew. Apparently, badgers make fierce opponents, I'm so glad they're on Dolly’s side. OMG! This time Cass leaves us dangling once again with that ending. Then she fixes it with a bonus scene that I highly suggest reading. this series so much, I have never laughed so hard while reading a book as I did while reading this series. Fantastic in every turn of a page and a must read.
Such a great and worthy addition, though one wonders when Dolly will get a freaking break! She's surrounded on all sides by people who want a piece of her, but luckily has her found family and mates to help her stay on track and sane...ish. While this book has the same edgy sexual tension, there's not a much smexy times as some of the previous books. I wish there had been more description of a pivotal moment between Dolly and Rennie instead of an almost fade to black and then the next day, woot there it is. I'm trying not to give any spoilers here, but you'll know when you read it.
This is part of the Apex Academy Capers series by Featherstone and a wonderfully well written addition to this series. Captivating and well balanced, this book has it all for me - action, adventure, humor and romance. I love Dolly's complex personality - the tough and the tender. I love her harem of mates and the baddies that are brought in to be delt with and just overall the addition of characters brought on with this addition. I just loved this addition to the series and looking forward to more from Featherstone!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.
This series is amazing and this is not the last book. We have followed Dolly and watch her become a strong young woman that is making her own future and not what her parents or leaders believe she is capable of. She may be a bunny shifter but she is no one’s prey. I love her character so much. This story brings more of the danger and chaos that follows her. Her men are amazing and help and support her in so many ways. There are some spicy moments but their relationships are so much more than that. I love all the type of shifters and there may just be more than shifters in the paranormal world.
Cassandra gives us the next installment of the Apex Academy Capers series that just keeps getting better and better! Delores, her mates and the rest of her found family are sent to the academy in France but it's a far colder reception than ever before. Loads of events, feels and twists keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the wicked cliffhanger. To find out what happens, dive into this wonderfully written book with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. I loved reading this story and highly recommend the series! Make sure you read them in order and don't miss this book!!
She is back! This time they are at the school in France and the troubles that they thought they were semi managing have now tripled. New crappy History Shifter professor, the bird stalker Carina, and now a few more Pred girls who honestly don't know how to keep their bullying tendency to themselves. She gets a few new allies as well, and boy is Farley fierce!
Dolly definitely finds herself more in this new installment in the series. Watching her grow and gain confidence is Epic and so are the sayings btw 😉 All in all I can not wait until the next book, this one left off with a cliffhanger so be prepared for that.
Cassandra Featherstone has another amazing installment in the A.A.C series! Fast pace, with lots of sassy moments between Dolly and her guys, with lots of heat to keep the energy flowing. And let's not forget the snap and snark our girl dishes out to those who are trying to keep a good bunny down. The adventure takes us to a new school, a hop, skip and a jump across the pond into the renaissance passion inducing Paris, France! With a new school, comes a new wave of bullies, mysteries and a ton of homework! This entire series is a must read, and with each new book more is revealed! Love this book and can't wait for the next one!!
Smart 🫏 predators, dangerous plot, and a bunny who refuses to be anyone’s victim.
College life is hard enough without murderers and counselors who think “boundaries” are meant to be broke . Every step at Apex Academy is a test of survival, for Delores anyway. After the chaos at the Yule Ball, the Council shipped off all the heirs to the European academy.
The Council made a big mistake, they thought Delores would roll over and be prey. But Delores has survived their schemes and gotten stronger than they believed. They think Delores will keep rolling over like the prey they believe her to be. Delores is ready to dish out her karma, so let them keep coming for her :).
This book picks up right where we left our herione Dolly. The storyline is just as captivating as all the other books. While this book is long, it's not long enough. I was so into the story I didn't even realize I was at the end. Cass writes this book like all the others, no detail is too small. Every part of the story is so intriguing. It really pulls you in to Dolly and her guy's world. I'm thinking I may have picked up on some foreshadowing (well lots), but we shall see. Can't wait until the next in the series.
Dolly and her guys are back, but this bunny just can't catch a break. This book is thiccccccck, though slightly shorter than the other big 'uns. There's so much humor, steam and fun character building that you still won't be able to put it down. The gang is off to France with more revelations, meddling from family and ridiculous nicknames. Don't miss out on the tiny little Holiday novella, O Holy Spite, but if you love why choose, laughing, action, bully academy and all that fun stuff, this is SO the series for you, and this book is no exception! Love it!
The crew is back at it again! Eat. Prey. Love. brings readers right back into the action and adventure of Dolly and her men and friends! A wild ride from start to finish, these books always find the perfect way to bring humor into the mix. The moments between Dolly and each of her men are always a good time to be had, and each books seems to turn up the heat even more! Just note that these books are loooooong, so you really need to plan a sit down because once you start, it is difficult to stop. All in all, I cannot wait for book 6 given the way things are left in book 5.
This books sees Dolly, her guys and friends in France, having to deal with the same type of stuff as back home, despite all that she's shown even though she's prey. As with all other books by the author I really enjoyed the humour in the book, it's what keeps me coming back and reading the series. Despite this the book seems to drag a bit sometimes, maybe because of the descriptions of scenes and feelings, which aren't my favourite way to read a story. But really enjoyed seeing the relationships progressing and the mischief Dolly and Finn get into as well as the new characters introduced.
