Finally found the time to finish this book.
Its wasn't bad at all but there is definitely room for improvement. The beginning felt childish, like it was written for children but with some spice here and there. In the middle i started to like it a bit more but it felt too long. And then there was the ending that felt rushed. They made a full book that covered the timeline of a year or even less and then they made the ending in 5 pages that covered the timeline of 60 years or more..

The character development of the main characters wasn't great. There is little space to get attached or feel for them. However, there were some side characters that i really liked.

The storyline was good but i definitely read some similar stories before so it wasn't anything new.

It was not the 'light read' i thought it would be and it wasn't good enough to be this long so i probably wont read it again.

(This book is more than double the amount of pages than what they say on Goodreads)

(Novelflow app) DNF at 30% The quality of writing is very low. I doubt it was ever edited at all. Words and phrases are repeated too often. (Instead of "said" "resoonded" "asked" -- everything is "murmured" or "chuckled" EVERYTHING!) Important information gets left out, and unimportant information gets repeated. The book has so many contradictions, it gets annoying sorting out what the writer wants. Also, Sophia is NOT a weird name. It's on the top 10 most common list! Yet, the author has everyone responding to hearing the name like it's so very unique and odd. I just can't with this book anymore. Admittedly, Novel Flow app was also awful. I thought I'd enjoy a "free" reading app - but I had to watch ads to unlock every chapter. Otherwise pay $169/year for ad free... which is ludicrous. That's more than my premium audible membership. I am not paying that much for such low quality literature. I am giving it 2 stars because I did manage to get through 56 chapters - but when a pop-up ad told me my phone was infected with 3 viruses while using the app - I decided Sophia and her mates could suck it. I do not recommend the book OR the Novel Flow app!

The story of Keiran, Ethan, and Sophia, is one of found family, love, strength found amidst grief, finding your place in the world, and good vs evil.

It was good, interesting, and kept me hooked. The relationships between the main characters and secondary ones, the intrigue, action, and the choices one must make amid chaos.

That alone would have given it a 4.5-star review.

However, I didn't feel fair to give it a higher rating due to the need for an editor. There were repetitions, changes in physical descriptions halfway through the book, and other inconsistencies, including some name swaps here and there. And even some obvious jumps with missing text, not big ones to not follow the story, but enough to confuse for a bit trying to see if you skip ahead more than one page. As well as some repeated chapters.

If you are prepared for those and love long paranormal romance, then I'd say definitely go for it and enjoy it.

Also, if you like your stories spicy, then you're in luck; this is definitely on the spicier side.

This was a great story, although it was quite lengthy. It took a couple of days for me to finish it, but I enjoyed every minute. Sophie is a great character. She started as a young woman with a closed-off heart and a general distrust of most people. Kat was the main exception to that. She blossomed into a formidable leader with strength, resilience, and compassion. In the beginning, I wasn't sure about Keiran and Ethan. Their motives for their treatment of Sophie were unclear, but they proved to be the most loyal of men. I liked that the story gave us a bit of backstory for the characters, explaining how they came to be who and where they were. The story also concluded with a look many years into the future, which is always a plus.

Just a few quick notes for anyone who buys the book (May contain some spoilers);

*Why does everyone say her name is unique or unusual? Sophia is a very common name.

* Chapter 26 is a repeat of Chapter 25

* Beginning of Chapter 28 is told from Soph's POV (current time), then it switches to flashbacks told from Kerian's POV.
-It revisits the meeting in the forest between Soph and the Twin Wolves when they found her reading in Chapter 22
-It covers the events of the party in Chapter 19, and it explains what happened after she ran from the twins.

* I wonder what happened to the things that she left at the little place she rented in Missouri. Did she go back for them, forget about them, or just leave them behind? I would think she would remember, especially since she had such a large amount of money. I mean, she started with 25 K. After the bus ticket, plane ticket, the motel, and the one week's worth of rent, she probably had a good chunk left, especially since she was working while there.

* Chapter 57 is a repeat of Chapter 56

* Chapter 76 - She went to bed without showering or bathing after having two training sessions and two makeout sessions with her men. She's gonna be one stinky woman in the morning.

* Could Carlos be a secret supporter, or is he just making a play so she has no choice but to help him later?

* Could Zack have rejected her as a way to protect her? If he had a mate, it would surely give his father more leverage over him. I think he rejected his newfound mate purely to protect her from his father's cruel manipulations.

This was a beautiful story line and was a captivating read that I did not put down. The spicy moments were indeed spicy. The different pov's worked well. The hero's story was not subject to one main character, granting multiple wins from a few main characters. The take aways however, are vast. From grammatical errors, repeated pages, to character mix ups. This book begs for revision. Often I needed to flip pages back, to confirm I didn't miss the introduction of a new character. There are several points throughout the story where the author provides the same description as previously written, for the same exact characters. It's seems the chapters were written within a single moment as we see the author use the same words within 7 sentences of each other. This happens in a multitude of consequential chapters. All in all, it's a good read so long as you have the patience to play a mental tennis match with what the author meant to say.

Pretty good storyline, sometimes confusing because there were random names or characters names in the wrong place like the author forgot who they were writing about. There were a couple of repeated chapters. The ending was nice but again a little confusing to get through as far as some newer characters and figuring out who they were. I think it has the potential to be a really good book after a few edits. Oh and not to forget about the smut… the smut is very very smutty, I don’t have a better way to describe it but if you’re into it you won’t be disappointed.

Potential for a great book, but wasn’t. It does have a decent story line though. Author would insert the wrong names of people or names that have never even been used before in the place of a main character. It seems like she couldn’t keep her characters straight. Needs some real editing done to it.

Love conquers all. Even evil overlords that deserve what's coming to them. Love is all you need in the end.
