The analytical Hebrew and Chaldee lexicon: Every word and inflection of the Hebrew Old Testament arranged alphabetically and with grammatical ... with grammatical remarks and explanations
Grammatical observations, with tables of paradigms of the Hebrew language and the Chaldee language. "This volume lists alphabetically every Hebrew word as it appears in the Old Testament. "The Analytical Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon" offers grammatical analysis and a meaning according to a word's derivation. An analytical lexicon helps the beginning and intermediate student of Hebrew identify the root words of difficult Hebrew forms,"
1. Condensed review of Hebrew grammar. 2. Extended information about more archaic grammatical structures (such as nitpael/ hitpolel). 3. A working tool for Orthodox Jews during Shabbat (when electronic devices should not be used). I myself spend a lot of time preparing to chant Torah, and many of the declensions are obscure.
Heretofore, it has been my habit to go to different Facebook Biblical Hebrew discussion groups whenever a question came up.
There were/are these questions, but the responses may not have been immediate for a question that needed to be solved immediately.
This seems to cut out about 99% of my immediacy problems
Also, during any day of the week most Orthodox (and especially Haredim) know ***absolutely nothing**" about grammar.
Verdict: this book is well worth a second-hand purchase price, and strongly recommended.
