This book aims to teach you how to believe in and change your inner self - the imaginal you. Based on extensive study of Neville Goddard's work and personal experimentation, I present two key
"There is no one or nothing to change but self," and "Whatsoever you desire, believe you have it, and you will."
Each chapter explores this theme from different angles. Repetition is intentional, as sometimes a single sentence can trigger understanding. However, reading alone is not enough; these ideas must be tested with personal experimentation.
Ask "Is my life truly reflecting the contents of my imagination?" The only way to know is by changing your imagination and observing the results. If it works, you have discovered the cause of your life. This book is meant to be tested, not just debated. My hope is that you will test these ideas and imagine the loveliest of things for yourself.
Deciding to pick up this book was a great miracle in my life. It filled the gaps in my understanding of the teachings, not to mention the lovely manifestations that came after the application of the techniques detailed at the end of the book. But that’s just the cherry on top. 🍒 Edward = modern day Neville.
If you’re looking for a clean and well-elucidated synopsis of Neville Goddard’s work with a modern retelling, Edward Art is it. Neville’s language can be a bit abstruse for some people, which is understandable given the time in which he was prominent. I also am an avid fan of William Blake (which I discovered through Neville) and like that Edward quotes and references him a lot, too. This book is small; you can read it in an afternoon and keep it with you when you travel.
I’m currently reading his newest book “No One to Change but Self,” and it’s just as good but more in depth on how identity forms the entire world around you. The only criticism (for both) is that an editor for occasional grammatical mistakes would be nice.
I enjoyed his original series more than this book, but I still find it offers great insight! There is still things you can learn from this book, and it's a great way to study Neville if you have trouble reading his original work.
As someone who has been in the field of the Magi for some time, I am very very familiar with the works of Neville Goddward.
Edward here reminds me of him so much. He feels like a modern Neville, it's incredible. This book changed my life. I have read it three times over and every single time I learn something new. I was able to take the wisdom here and applied it to my life. After several years of being unemployed- down on my luck, and honestly- hating myself, I learned how to love myself, cherish my mind, and use my imagination. I am now happily employed at a job I never thought I would land in.
Edward - please keep writing. Your wisdom has inspired so many. I look forward to the new collection you spoke of in your recent lecture.
