When thirty-year-old Cordelia Corbett returns to Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and rejoins her boss at Kohr’s Frozen Custard, they immediately run into a crime scene at the Food Shack down the boardwalk.
A handsome stranger lends a hand, and Cordelia is immediately drawn to him. Love may be in the air between them - if they can stop butting heads long enough to let it grow.
Together with her neighbor and co-worker Shelby, Cordelia searches for leads in order to find the killer. But can they piece together the clues and find the culprit?
I am a lifetime singer/songwriter. When I realized that I would need to move to Nashville to succeed in country music, I decided to keep my day job and began to dabble in writing. Writing a book and having it published has been a lifetime dream of mine. I'm thankful to my agent and publishing company and all that they do to help me. .
Great Characters along with a fast-paced story made this a book I couldn't put down.
I loved the female characters, they were all believable and likeable and the author did a good job developing the main character and several of the other female character roles. The male characters were disappointing, they slowed the story down and made the story predictable. That being said, I will probably read the next book in the series because I can't wait to see what happens with the women characters.
I figured out who the murderer was very quickly, but enjoyed the book nonetheless the less. The main characters are surprisingly multifaceted, the setting fun (I like beach towns), and the ending…no spoilers here. Enjoy
Very choppy writing and jumping around. Predictable with annoying characters. All the men love the main character within a day and no real character development. Hard to finish
