Secrets
When we last met Jon and Steph, their relationship was at risk of falling apart.
Steph continues to question how she can continue being the other woman while still avoiding all of Jon's attempts to discuss his wife . . . the same wife she has now met and spoken to.
Unfortunately, with feelings developing on both sides, things have gotten more complicated.
Jon is determined to keep Steph as his and his alone, doing whatever he needs to make that a reality and now that she works for him, has him as a landlord and sharing a bed, there's no area of her life where he isn't. He wants to give her everything, but what if the one thing she wants, is the only thing he cannot give her?
Then there's Steph, when faced with the earlier question of whether having some of Mr Brooker is preferable to no Mr Brooker, what will Steph's answer be?
Continue the journey with them both as they navigate an unknown path paved with secrets, lies and a few surprises along the way.

So this is book 2 for this trilogy and it jumps straight back into all the drama that is Steph and Jon!
After book 1 left us on a cliffhanger I was desp to find out what was next for these guys.
There's lots more of the story to come out but communication hasn't been their best quality as all the steamy times have got in the way first LOL
Will Jon actually tell the truth about his wife? Will Steph listen? Will the couple be able to move forward? Or will it all blow up in their faces!
Looking forward to book 3 to see how this actually ends!

Book 2 of the trilogy and it definitely opens your heart more to Jon. I do feel for him and everything he has been through in his life. It explains why he is the way he is. However, I still can’t warm to Steph, she does grate on my last nerve with her running and miscommunications, lol! However, it’s fiction and we love some and we hate some. It is definitely a trilogy with lots of sex, lots of secrets, and lots of back and forth between the two main characters. I will most definitely have to read book 3 now. It’s a trilogy that hooks you in and holds onto you.
