Really good story. A lot of focus on the plot. Full of twists and turns to keep you hooked. I enjoyed the romance and spice level. Easy to read but it does not take from the story it self. The FMC is strong, natural and realistic.

The story it self is really interesting and you get a lot of useful information about the world in the beginning. But you never know what is truth, myth or simply just lies.

I'm already read for a reread!!!

This was a great first effort from a new author. It's beautifully written. I was fully invested in the story. The FMC was awesome. I really liked the side characters too. There was also some pretty fun twists. The world building was great but could have used a little more detail. Sometimes it felt like scenes or conversations were repeating, which was a little confusing. However, I need the next book ASAP.

If you’re looking for a book that has the vibe of Avatar, Divergent, Fourth Wing AND ACOTAR. This should be on your TBR.
I just finished this book, but I’m pretty sure it was the other way around, because holy f.. dude!
This book contains everything that I love in fantasy/sci fi books. It was like entering the book once I started reading. The world building, the plot and storyline, and especially the character development throughout the story had me in a chokehold. And now I just can’t wait for book 2 to come out 😅
However, there was some things that made me confused now and then. Sometimes it was a little bit difficult to know which pov I was reading. That could have been more visible.
I really hope people start reading this book so I have someone to vent about it to, because I have so much to say! But I don’t want to spoil… 🤦🏼‍♀️ God the struggle is real! 😵‍💫😄
