A great start to a superior series

As a long time can of the 'We Hunt Monsters ' series I can say that Monster Martial Artist already demonstrates how much Mr Oster has improved as an author. The protagonist is more personable and has a more balanced relationship with his guide and other adventurers, already building a team and treating them well. I am ecstatic to read more and can't wait for the next instalment.

I enjoyed the book as I like We Hunt Monsters, but there is an issues:

For the first time in one of Aaron’s book, it needs editing! Normally his books are on point editing wise, but this one needs another round. For instance there are times when he says head vs health. There was a few chapters where we get “million pieces” or “clean off its feet” repeatedly during a fight scene.

Other than that I enjoyed the book and it would have been 5 stars if it had another round of editing to fix these issues

No more from this author

I generally like this author's stories, but I cannot take his writing style anymore. He is constantly italicizing words that shouldn't be italicized. There are other ways to emphasize parts of a story but having 3 or more words like this on almost every page is too much. The author refuses to become a better writer so I will refuse to read his books from now on.

Cool idea. I like the fantasy world isekai to another fantasy world. The premise of obtaining a class that gives you powers from defeated monsters is cool too. The story is also interesting. We have good characters in traveling companions. Overall the book was very enjoyable.

Note to self: reads like a remake of We Hunt Monsters, but less annoying to me. Keep reading.
