When I joined the Warriors hockey team, I thought school and hockey would be what kept me the most busy during freshman year.

I didn’t expect to meet the most incredible girl at my first big college party. Nor did I expect the hot, wild night we had.

But it turned out I had already met the gorgeous pink-haired girl. In fact, I had known her for a long time and we hated each other.

She was furious when she discovered my identity and vowed never to come near me again. My reaction was a little different. I wanted more.

Now, I have to convince the girl I spent years antagonizing that we belong together, even if wanting her is so very, very wrong.

I feel like I’ve been waiting for this book forever lol
I love this series and was so excited for Sean and Ashley’s book.

If you love a forbidden romance with enemies to lovers then you’ll love this.

Sean and Ashley clashed from the second their parents introduced them and things didn’t get any easier over the years. But when they both end up attending the same school and attending the same masked party thing change!!

Once these two have a taste of each other there’s no holding back, i loved seeing how their relationship grew. But I was not expecting that twist! i gasped!! lol

100% recommend this book.

Play it Sinful is the scalding hot romance you will need this winter season to keep you warm.

Sean and Ashley are as forbidden as couple come. They should not want the other and yet they are all each other sees. These two had so many ups and some crazy downs and yet they keep coming back to each other because their chemistry is off the charts and the passion they both hold for the other is full of more than just lust, it’s filled with love.

This is the Hannaford U book I have been dying for. Even if you haven’t read the other books you definitely need this one because holy smokes it’s full of some sexy scenes but also filled with love. I was equally as addicted to these two as they are with each other.

I’m purposefully not giving anything away because I do not want any spoilers. The twists and surprises are so good and I want each reader to experience how WOW, this book is!

loved them

I was so ready to return to Hannaford U and finally get the answers behind Sean and Ashley. I loved that we start in the past to really understand where these characters and their journey.

We start off with Sean who is reeling from his father’s new marriage and decides that he wants nothing to do with his family members. He wasn’t expecting the pull he feels towards his new sister but he decides that lashing out and keeping her at arms length is the best.

Ashley is less than thrilled to realize that Sean is attending her school and showing up everywhere when she barely saw him before and when did, it wasn’t very pleasant. One night at a masked party with attraction sizzling between them, changes everything. I loved watching their relationship change and to see such a different softer side of Sean.

Since this is a second chance romance, there are factors that ultimately break them apart. In the present, they continue to avoid each other until an incident reveals certain truths and we are treated to their well deserved HEA. I love all the members in their friend group with their constant banter, love and support.

This was such an emotional read that I couldn’t put down. I’m obsessed with this world that Michelle has created and I can’t wait for this series to continue.

We have been waiting to read Sean and Ashley’s story from the Hannaford U Series and it did not disappoint! I love these two so much. There are some heavy emotional themes which had me in tears for each of them, but so much laughter, silliness, and tenderness. Not to mention the heat picked up early enough and was strung throughout. There is a reason Michelle Hercules is my favorite author!

Quick summary: Sean and Ashley are step siblings raised in separate homes and lots of hatred between them. In college and through forced proximity and a fateful night of masks, they find there is more than hatred between them. But how do they make it work?

I LOVE how possessive Sean is. He’s a caveman/alpha protector. Ashley is a strong female lead, not putting up with crap and she rocks! Together… they heat up the place.

I did enjoy this book, though I wouldn't say my feelings were the same as the first two books because those were the best.
The step sibling trope doesn't work with me, but thank god they weren't related to each other in any way.
I missed the hockey boys and their chit chats a lot since this book didn't have much of them and their funny talks.

Overall, it was a good experience.
But I will say I miss Noah and Gia and Alex and Blair.

Wow… talk about a forbidden romance. Sean and Ashley should not want to be together, but just can’t help being pulled together even when Sean is aware of the reasons why he shouldn’t. They have insane chemistry and when they come together are explosive in the best ways. They go through many ups and downs and have a crazy obsession with each other that’s not just about sexy time but also love. Without giving away too much, the twists and turns of this book are so surprising in a good way.

This was a wild ride.

This was a contraction of the series with some of the players we already knew.

Ashley and Sean are step siblings. Sean moved back from Europe where he was living with his mom and Ashley grew up with Sean’s dad and her mom. They always hated each other. Mostly because of the losses they represented to each other - divorce and her father’s death.

Sean would come home for summers and holidays but they always hated each other. However his sister Kenzy always had a good relationship with ash.

Sean and Ashley both end up at Hanford U. Her for art and business and him for hockey. She’s surprised by this because she didn’t know and sees him during orientation. She’s pissed.

They both attend a masquerade ball where they fall for each other and share a night. It’s not until they’re done doing their thing that he takes off his mask and they realize who each other are. They try to stay away from each other but they can’t and continue to explore the relationship. For 3 months they fall for each other. Physical turns to emotional and they’re torn on what this will mean for their family but know they want to be together.

Until Christmas morning they say I love you and in that moment in the kitchen hug and kiss. But his dad sees them and has a heart attack. In the hospital after he’s recovered he pulls Sean aside and shared Ashley is really his half sister not step sister. Sean saves Ashley the hurt and breaks things off. They avoid each other for 3 years until their senior year.

Her hate comes back because of how things ended but they’ve always been around each other with family and school.

Senior year Sean gets word her new BF Brian is a creep and comes by her dorm to check on her. He runs Brian away which she appreciates but then they share a kiss and she’s mad when Sean abruptly ends it after initialing. She drives off angry and gets into a car accident where she’s left in critical condition. Kenzy and Sean test for sibling matches to replace her one left kidney. Kenzy finds out the truth Sean has known for years and Sean finds out he is NOT her brother. Kenzy is her sister. Meaning his mom also stepped out of the marriage with his dad.

Sean stays near Ashely while she’s in the Haitian recovering for 2 weeks. On her way out kenzy tells the truth of what happened because she feels Ashley needs to know since every one else does at this point. When she gets home she calls Sean out of the house and they talk. She’s still angry but once she enters her welcome home party her friends send them to her room where they surprise them with a photo book of these moments they’ve shared without knowing over the years. They admit their love has always been there and behind their real relationship in the open with friends and family. Where Sean also agreed to take a break after undergrad and follow her to Europe for her art for a year.

Sean & Kenzy' s parents decide to get a divorce when they are 7 and 9. They move to Londen with their mother and not long after their father gets married with a women who has a daughter- Ashley. Because Sean hates the situation he is never nice to her and even more an ashole when she finds him cut himself on purpose, as his only release from the pain. Years pass by they see occasionally during summer vacation, and he always keeps away from her and they bearly speak. He sees how beautiful she is but because is who she is he ignores her and keeps being a jurk.
First year of college she finds out he is at the same school as her, and steer away from eachother but one masked party they sleep together and they found out they slept with eachother when she takes her mask on. They say it's only going to be this one time but they can't stay away from one another. They keep it a secret because they are step siblings, but their fillings go stronger every day.
One Christmas morning their are at their parents house and they kiss thinking everybody is sleeping but his father comes in and when he sees them he has a heart attack. At hospital he tells him she is his daughter too and they are half siblings. Sean is heart broken and breaks up with her without telling her the reason why trying to spear her the heartbreak.
Tree years later she has a boyfriend, but she still loves Sean. For Sean is a torture every time she sees him but there is nothing he can do.
One night his friends send him to check on her and she finds her outside arguing with her boyfriend and finds out he put holes in the condoms and he beats him up. Ashley is upset of the hole situation and he tries to comfort her and he kisses her. Realising what he did rejects her one more time and she gets in her car and she has an accident.
She is in critical condition and she my need a kidney and because he and his sister are her half siblings they get tested to see if they are a match.
Sean finds out that they are not related, only his sister Kenzie is, apparently he founds out later her mother also cheated on his father with a priest.
Sean is relieved and wants to win her back.
They get back together in the end.

I genuinely don’t know how I feel about this.

The spice was perfection 🔥🔥 love when it happens early and often. But the step brother trope is not for me. I know that they didn’t really grow up together but it was already weird. Then the twist happens and my jaw legitimately dropped. Then it’s untwisted and I was just annoyed.

ALSO - super annoying that not only was there no TW for self-harm, but the storyline literally just disappears. She finds out about it and it never comes up again. Like what???

I loved the off-the-charts-can’t-keep-our-hands-to-ourselves chemistry but I hated the storyline. I like this series, though, so I keep coming back.

My only real complaint is that there was no Trigger Warning for the self-harm depicted. That's for a personal reason, and I think those who have dealt with SH, of any kind, will understand. A little warning helps.
Other than that, I love this series, but this one just didn't click as much as the last two for me. We're all bound to have a book like that in a series.

Can't wait for book four. :)

This was such a fast enjoyable read if you like being in the world college romance. It’s an enemies to lovers with lots of steam and angst and I love reading Michelle. I read this in a day and couldn’t put it down. This starts fourteen years earlier when Sean and Ashley meet and then it brings us to their relationship in their freshman year of university. We eventually get to their senior year where things have changed and complications have torn them apart.

pretty shallow… and not the best one of the series

Ok. There was not much to this story and the main plot line being a joe dirt “call me your sister” moment was not that interesting to me. Overall, it was a lot of $eX and not a lot of real connection. It just felt immature. And I get annoyed when lack of communication and misconception is the entire plot.

Play it sinful

In Play it dirty and play it hard we got a glimpse of Sean and Ash... with their constant fighting but we don't know what is going on until now!!

I finally had time to get to Sean & Ash and I was not disappointed!! Their secret relationship during their freshman year is hot! But when the twist hits, it's mouth dropping but then another twist ..... I devoured this quickly!!!

Both Ash & Sean have hiding mental ailments which shows how strong they are when dealing with them (Ash and her anxiety attacks and Sean's cutting). But when they reveal their issues to each other it brings them closer.

Absolutely loved Sean & Ash's story

it isn’t easy being young.

He didn’t want to like his father’s new wife and her daughter. His sister took to the girl right away. He tried to make the girl miserable. Them one day, he realized how gorgeous she was and nice. Things are never easy.

When it was hinted in the first 2 books that Sean and Ashley would get together I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. BUT I really enjoyed this book and honestly was rooting for Sean and Ashley. Love this series and can’t wait for CJ and Zoey’s book!

It was good but took me forever to get through! The twist and turns did keep it interesting but almost got confusing close to the end! Will continue the series and hope the next book is a little easier to follow!
