Imagine going to sleep in Colorado, then waking up on a beach with the ocean in front of you. That is what happened to John. With his mind flooded with questions, he is faced with the monumental task of survival in this strange place. One moment he has a life that is familiar, then without warning that life ends and a new one begins. He is angry about being there, and that anger stays with him till the end, suppressed but still lurking. He is tormented by solitude at first, but that solitude ends one day suddenly. Is it possible to find love in a place that he hates? He finds the answer to that question and more as he embarks on a journey of survival and discovery. Just when he is becoming comfortable with a complicated three way relationship and the life that he has, everything changes. Their lives aren't their own anymore, and as time goes on, the unexpected becomes expected. One day at a time, they search for answers and eventually find some.

About the author

James Holler is not your conventional author. Unlike many who discovered their passion for storytelling in their youth, James unearthed his talent later in life, during his tenure at a large corporation.
His literary journey began on a whim when he entered a writing contest, never expecting to win. To his astonishment, his story was not only a winner but was published in the newspaper of a mid-sized city.
The true power of his words hit home when he shared the story with his cousin, who was moved to tears. This revelation astounded James and solidified his belief in the profound influence of the written word.
James found his love for writing at an age when many are considering retirement. His debut novel, Village E3, marks the beginning of his literary journey. Just recently complete, Return to Village E3 continues the journey.

WOW!!!

I had to give this one five stars because I couldn't put it down! I definitely recommend this book to read, especially if you're into sci-fi. I hope there will be a part two...

Very interesting! I'm still left with so many questions, haha! I guess I'll have to read book 2 to hopefully get those answers.

It was a very fun and interesting plot! The beginning sort of reminded me of watching an episode of Alone.
