StormWatch: PostHuman Division (single issues) #5, 8-12

Stormwatch: PostHuman Division, Volume 2

Rate this book
StormWatch used to be a United Nations Special Crisis Intervention Team with unlimited funds that acted as a powerful global police force. Now, the former leader of the team, Jackson King, has been forced to develop new methods of apprehending superpowered-beings and containing them with only a shoestring budget. Gone are the fancy orbital satellites and matter-teleportation services, traded for a dingy office staffed with second-rate heroes and former villains to combat the growing crisis of post-human threats.

In this volume, written by Wizard Magazine's "2007 Writer to Watch" Christos Gage, King decides it's time his motley PHD team to pay their sister unit, StormWatch Prime, a visit to see what they can learn from their super-powered, superstar brethren. After a horrible crime has been committed, and a key cast member is left dead, the PHD team must discover who is responsible. The only trouble is that the assailant either comes from the ranks of StormWatch Prime or from StormWatch: PHD. Will the investigation tear StormWatch apart from within?
