The math ain't mathin on this pregnancy timeline. Human gestation is only 40 weeks. Not 52. Also we only get the name of 1 baby? Why?

This was a quick read, I almost DNF because the plot was so weak, the MFC was annoying. She was angry at the men she supposedly loved for keeping something from her although they apologized and explained it to her she kept ignoring them. Made no sense.
Also the pregnancy lasted almost a year? December conception would lead to a September due date with an early delivery for a high risk pregnancy of multiples. I think the author should have done some research. How do you not know this basic information though?
I really do not like rating books so poorly but it was not just a small thing to overlook. Time lines need to be solid.
There were other things too that were off, like the house they bought at the end in a poor neighborhood. What is the point of that? One of the MMC had 2 homes already and the other 2 MMC’s had their own homes. I just don’t get that point either.
Book had potential just fizzled out for me.

DNF. Really not good. Nothing happens and it’s boring.

So the author wants me to believe that all four of them have a strictly business relationship, until they’re snowed in at work. All of a sudden Clara becomes a sexual goddess and starts having s*x with all three. 😂😂😂 It felt so wrong. I was cringing at how awkward the s*x scene was and it didn’t get any better.

Clara works as a junior architect at I presume the three men Ethan, Alexander, and Liam’s company. I say presume as they were told she was working on the project by the board of directors. When she starts working with them, all three are constantly fighting h*rd ons, and I felt more like I was reading a porn then a romance. It was bizarre.

I didn’t finish it but I got over half way and nothing is happening. I know they have to build up peoples characters but there was a whole chapter on Alexander going to a bar to pick someone up for s*x. I really didn’t want to read that! He didn’t go through with it but it was boring and unnecessary. The same with Clara. A whole chapter on her mothers condition and what she looks like as she has cancer. It was depressing.

Really disappointed. It’s just not very well written.

This story has so many tropes, but my favorites would be the reverse harem and office romance ones. Clara is a young woman well on her way to greatness in the architecture. When she and the three men she works with are snowed in together it takes their relationship from office colleagues to lovers, and it only gets more interesting from here. It is a well written story that had me cheering on this quadruple as they work their way to getting their happily ever after.

I’m usually not a fan of surprise pregnancy tropes. But this one held my attention from beginning to end. I love how the men were all respectful and sensitive to her needs. This was my first time reading this author’s work but it won’t be my last.

This one really blew hot and cold and I felt the heavy hand of plot contrivance coming into play several times, especially at the end. The timeline also makes no sense at all (how is a woman pregnant with triplets still pregnant 11 months later?). The three heroes ended up being kind of lame in the end too, which I hated.

The heroes were also not well characterized. The only one I could tell apart from the crowd was Alexander because he was supposedly the leader everyone else followed, but the other two guys, Liam and Ethan, were totally interchangeable. And Alexander didn't take decisive action when the situation called for it so his characterization as the "leader" rang very hollow indeed.



The story opens with this VERY LONG part all about Clara's sick mom. This took up something like 10% of the book. It was very jarring for me when I expected to be introduced to at least one of our heroes before the 10% mark. I guess this was supposed to flesh out Clara's character but I just didn't care that much. When I sit down to read a reverse harem story, I want some sexy escapism about studly heroes who can't keep their hands off the heroine. I do not want pictures of an old woman made frail from chemo in my head.

After that confusing nonsense, the heroine gets a text inviting her to meet the three heroes for lunch that same day, a Sunday. There they proceed to tell her about an amazing project their architectural firm has just landed and they want her to work on it. This part was a bit fuzzy because the three men each made comments to each other before Clara got there about how hot she was, but it didn't seem like any of them had actually worked with her before? And she was just a junior architect and there were more senior people available. But, the author assures us, her work for the firm has been SO exemplary that she earned her spot on this project. It's not just that the three heroes have the hots for her. Great...so, why's she still a junior architect then? If she's so fucking amazing at her job, why hasn't she been promoted before now?

Anyway, they all go to a particular office the next day and work together on this project. They're in a big crunch because some town council meeting is scheduled for the next day so they've got to get all this work done before then. This didn't make a lot of sense. Why are they JUST starting the project but are already behind schedule? To get on the agenda for a town council meeting, they would have had to have submitted an application weeks in advance....Guess we're not supposed to think about this.

It's all just plot contrivance to explain how our four MCs were so busy looking at their computers that they didn't notice they were being snowed in. This part, too, didn't make a lot of sense since they'd just had pizza delivered not long before they came to this realization. But, just roll with it, I guess.

Throughout this work session, we've gotten some examples of Clara making smoldering eye-contact with the men, or accidentally brushing up against one of them. Then at one point one of the men suggests having a "naked buffet" in this complex they're building. I kept waiting for him to say "no, it's not naked people, it's all raw, organic foods with nothing on them" or something like that. You know? Something to make that not a wildly inappropriate comment to make to someone in the workplace? But no, apparently he did mean it just as it sounds but is embarrassed when Clara gives him the stink eye over it. But just a little while later, this same guy straight up tells Clara that the only naked buffet he's interested in is one where it's her, covered in whipped cream. Sigh.

Anyway, the finally notice that they're snowed in so they start battening down the hatches. The power goes out, but there's a generator, so they close themselves up in the smallest room to conserve the heat. Clara, meanwhile, starts losing her shit. Apparently her father had been conveniently killed in a snow storm. He just...wandered away from the house in the middle of the storm, got lost, and froze to death.

One of the men, Ethan, I think, uses this opportunity to pull Clara onto his lap. Strictly for comfort purposes, of course. Next thing you know, they kiss, and then they immediately start having sex, with the other two men in the room. And Clara is just all-in on banging all of them. No hesitation at all. First she and Ethan do it, then Alexander takes his turn. Then Ethan takes another turn, and finally Liam gets some action at the end.

This was a bit weird too because we're in Liam's POV for this part and he makes it a point of thinking about how he had a "tough act to follow" since the other two had already made Clara orgasm a couple of times. So he grabs her and puts her on the desk, but refuses to take his clothes off. He says this has been his fantasy for a while, and part of that is her naked, while he's still got his clothes on. This just seemed ridiculous to me because there's NO WAY he wouldn't have gotten the other men's jizz all over the front of his expensive suit pants this way. She's got two full loads inside her already and that stuff doesn't just magically absorb into a woman's body or anything. So him coming in third would mean for a very sloppy landing to say the least. But, I guess we're not supposed to think about that. Then he gives her a very perfunctory bang session that nonetheless made her orgasm again because, Fiction.

After Ethan is done, Clara is put on the couch, without cleaning up in any way, and just covered with a blanket. Here again, I couldn't stop my brain from thinking about the fact that she'd be leaking jizz and her own juices all over that couch while she slept. I'm starting to wonder if this author has ever had unprotected sex in her life because there are some logistical things that you just can't ignore in this situation...

My thoughts on this topic further intensified when Clara woke up hours later and Alexander proceeded to go down on her and then rave about how great she tastes. She hasn't cleaned up At ALL since the last time. So what he's tasting is him and the other two guys more than it is her and I just can't find that sexy.

Alexander ends up having sex with her first, then the other two double-team her. Here again, I question the author's sexual experience because she wrote it so that one of the men just plowed Clara's ass as if it were another pussy. No lubricant involved. Not even some throw-away lines about using her pussy juicy to try to lube things up back there. Nothing. And there was also no talk about having to force his way in past that initial resistance. No one talking about how much tighter that passage is, etc. It was treated as if she had two sets of lady parts. And there's no mention of Clara having any soreness back there at all. Uh-huh.

THEN they go on to have sex the rest of the time they're there, all with no one ever washing. So the guys who were in her ass proceed to be in her pussy and mouth without any cleaning happening in between. Yuck. There's no way she's making it out of this without a yeast infection or worse.

Which also brings me to another point. NOT ONCE did anyone discuss birth control or whether any of them had any diseases. Nobody gave even the slightest thought to using protection, including Clara, and yet they all act surprised when she turns up pregnant later. This just isn't realistic. These are all adults. And Clara professes to be this self-possessed confident woman. She would 100% take control of her own body's protection. Especially considering how long this episode went on. They all had tons of time to stop and think about the possible ramifications of their union.

Eventually, the snow has stopped enough that Alexander calls for his helicopter to come pick them up. Then they get flown to his "chalet" which is this huge, amazing house. There's power there and they can all finally have a shower. While there, Clara and one of the men, I think Liam, have sex in the kitchen. Then Alexander stumbles upon them and joins in. Next thing we know, Alexander has them flown to his mansion, which is actually closer to where they were and the power is out there. I was confused by the change of venue here. He says he thought Clara would want to stay closer to her mom, and she agreed but...why? Why go stay in a house with no power when you could stay in the "chalet" with power. You've got access to a freaking helicopter! If her mom needed help, they could be there in a jiffy!

All four MCs sleep together in the bed that night, but the author made it a point of mentioning that, despite all the sex they'd been having in different configurations, they'd never had all three men penetrating Clara at the same time. And she really, really wanted to do that...but this never happens. For the whole rest of the story, they never have 4-way sex. Bizarre.

Anyway, when Clara wakes up, she has a text message from a blocked number calling her a slut. But for some reason she doesn't just tell the men about this. Instead, she pulls away from them. And they notice, but when they question her about it, she insists that she's just worried about her mom. WHY? Why would she keep this from them? There's no explanation given.

Eventually Clara asks one of the men, either Ethan or Liam, I forget which, to check into it for her. Now, you'd THINK that our hero would be fucking PISSED when he saw the message and ready to destroy anyone who insulted his woman...but he's not. He basically has no reaction to this message at all. He does try to use his "hacking" skills to find out who sent it but apparently he's not much of a hacker because he can't figure it out.

At this point, they've all gone back to the office and they have to pretend they're not in a polyamorous relationship because "the board" wouldn't approve. And as soon as Clara is alone, the resident sleazeball, Allen, corners her and tries to insist she go to lunch with him. She refuses, as she has done multiple times before, and he jeers at her in a way that makes it clear he knows she slept with the bosses. He makes a comment about "body heat" being so good for keeping warm while they were snowed in.

Clara texts her three passionate lovers and tells them to keep an eye on Allen. She was NOT explicit in what he said to her, nor did she explain all the previous encounters she'd had with him hitting on her and every other woman in the office. But her men's response is to tell her that Allen is "weird but harmless" and other very "pat you on the head and send you on your way" kind of things. Clara is PISSED and starts icing the men out.

I basically hated all of them for this part. It's bullshit for the men to not take her concerns seriously here. She's been receiving sexually-themed threatening texts, and now look, here's a sleazy guy from the office hitting on her. Gee, could these two things be related? Nah, can't be. He's totally harmless. Yeah, eat a bag of dicks heroes.

But on the other hand, WTF Clara? Why wouldn't you explain to them exactly what Allen has been doing to you and the other women in the office? Why wouldn't you tell them that Allen keeps touching you even after you told him not to? They're not freaking mind readers, after all. You can't expect them to fire the guy just because you said they should "keep an eye on" him! Why wouldn't you just tell them the truth!!!???

At this same time, another coworker, who was a woman but was named Robbie, which was really confusing, came up to Clara and shared that she was being sexually harassed by a client. She only felt comfortable coming to Clara with this information (despite the fact that Clara is allegedly a junior architect and not in any position of authority???) because she didn't trust that the men running the company would do anything about it. Clara assures her that they will, although I don't know why she was so sure since they didn't do anything about her own harasser.

During all this time, none of our MCs are having sex with each other, (except one trip to a cinema right after they got back where Liam and Ethan sleep with her in a public theater, which was gross. Sure, they'd bought out the whole theater but do you know how dirty those places are??). This goes on for six weeks. Meanwhile, one of the men, I think Ethan, has decided that he WILL keep an eye on Allen. He and the other men were supposedly shocked to learn that the Robbie woman didn't trust them to roust out a harassing client. They did ban that client once they got her complaint and showed them the proof. And that incident, and the fact that they've apparently lost the trust of all their female employees, has made Ethan think that maybe he SHOULD take Clara's concerns more seriously. Be still my heart.

So he follows Allen around in the office, and does manage to catch Allen looking at photos of women on his phone. These photos look wrong, like they'd been taken without the woman's consent and from far away, then zoomed and cropped. There have also been multiple complaints to HR from pretty much every female employee about this guy saying inappropriate things to them but, allegedly, since there's "no proof" this mysterious "board" refuses to fire him because his work is just so amazing. Hard to believe he finds the time to do such good work when he's harassing the women all day but this is the story we're given.

Then there's a big presentation to the client for the project our four MCs are working on. 3/4 of the way through, Clara is hit by such a bout of nausea that she ends up running for the bathroom and puking. The men chase after her to make sure she's okay. She suspects she's pregnant but doesn't tell them that, instead claiming food poisoning.

Once she's clear of the meeting, she rebuffs the men's attempts to take her out or drive her home. Then she drives several towns over and buys a pregnancy test, then goes home and takes it. Of course she's pregnant and she cries herself to sleep.

She continues icing the men out and they don't like it. They talk to each other about what they can do to let them back in and settle on a shopping trip. This seemed bizarre to me since nothing up to that point had suggested Clara was a shopaholic girl who couldn't resist a trip to the shops, even if she was mad at her men but, this is the story we're given. She accepts the trip and they spend a little time buying her clothes and jewelry and making suggestive hints about having sex with her in the various items. She starts to thaw to them and gets a little hot and bothered.

Then, her freaking doctor appears out of no where, HUGS HER, and blurts out how exciting it is that she's pregnant and how this must be the father! It was so unbelievable. No one has this type of relationship with their OBGYN where he'd feel comfortable hugging her in public. And a real doctor would NEVER expose confidential information about his patient like this. Aside from being a HIPAA violation, he could be putting her life in danger. He doesn't know this man standing next to Clara. He could be abusive. He could be her husband and the father of the baby is her secret lover. This would just NEVER happen. And it wasn't any less contrived because the author hung a lampshade on it by mentioning the HIPAA violation.

So the men freak out, even though none of them thought to take precautions to avoid pregnancy so, what did they expect? They demand to know why Clara didn't tell them and she throws a tantrum about them waving away her concerns about Allen. That now she felt like she couldn't trust them. It didn't really have the ring of truth to it, honestly. She should have read them the riot act about hand-waving the Allen stuff as soon as it happened. Not bring it up 6 weeks later as an excuse for why she hadn't told them about the pregnancy.

Next day they all go to the ultrasound and that's where we find out she's having triplets. Then, all of a sudden, it's Halloween. Say what? We just skipped like 10 months of the story? Why?? What was happening during all that time? Were they still sleeping together? Or is she still pissed at them? Your guess is as good as mine.

We come in on a Halloween party and we're in one of the men's POV. He tells us that Clara has managed to keep the pregnancy a secret all this time by wearing a Maxi dress. Yeah, I'm just going to have to go ahead and call BULLSHIT on this. She's 11 months pregnant at this point, according to the timeline. Which is obviously impossible, but even if we forgive 2 of those months and say she's only 9 months along, SHE'S FUCKING HAVING TRIPLETS!!! She would be ENORMOUS by this point in her pregnancy. You couldn't hide that much of a belly even with a freaking circus tent let alone a maxi dress. This is ridiculous. And when was she planning to tell people? She's already 2 months overdue on delivering the kids, when was she planning to let the cat out of the bag? When they went off to college?

Clara gets lightheaded and passes out at this party. The men freak out in an obvious way and go with her to the hospital. The doctor says she's fine, but shouldn't be working. Liam stays behind with her at the hospital while Alexander and Ethan go back to the party. Ethan is freaking out because he was afraid Clara was in danger and he now realizes that he's in love with her. Alexander calms him down, they go back in and give a corporate type response "we can't comment on her health condition..." and then the two men go into a back room. Now it's Alexander's turn to lose his shit and he says out lout that he and Ethan are going to become fathers and that Clara is having their babies.

Then they go back to the party and somehow "someone" had filmed this little confession session and broadcast the video to everyone so now the cat is out of the bag. It's determined pretty quickly that Allen was the "someone" but the board insists he didn't do anything wrong and Alexander and company aren't allowed to "retaliate" against him.

Clara eventually finds out and she does some crying while also icing the men out. Then she puts on a nice dress and goes into the board meeting where she's allegedly going to be interrogated. Instead she quits and says that should satisfy the misogynistic board and allow the men to keep their jobs...and it works! They keep working for this company after this.

Fast forward and the babies are born, the men propose and she accepts HEA. Oh and they illegally hacked Allen's phone to get evidence against him so he was arrested because that's how those things work.

All in all, the heroes were lame, especially at the end and nothing made logical sense. Can't recommend.

I loved watching her balance her professional goals with her personal desires, and her journey felt real and relatable. Her emotional growth was just as satisfying as the romance itself. And when she finds herself facing three heartbeats on an ultrasound screen? I was right there with her, heart pounding and full of anticipation.

The Romance:
This isn't just about physical attraction (although, trust me, the spice is five-alarm-fire level hot 🔥🔥🔥). The emotional connection between the heroine and her bosses builds steadily, layer by layer. Their stolen moments of tenderness and the way each man cares for her in his own unique way had me swooning. The secret kisses, the lingering touches, and the quiet moments in between the passion made it feel like so much more than a fling.

The Suspense:
Just when you think you’re in for a cozy, snowed-in holiday romance, Cullen throws in a twist with anonymous threats and an unexpected danger element. It raises the stakes in the best possible way, adding urgency and emotional intensity to an already gripping story. Every note left on her desk made my heart race, and I found myself desperate to know who was behind it all.

The Plot Twist:
Without giving away spoilers, let me just say — three heartbeats. THREE. I’m a sucker for pregnancy surprises in romance, but this one cranked up the stakes to maximum drama. Watching the heroes react to this revelation was one of the most satisfying parts of the book. Their fierce protectiveness shifts into overdrive, and every scene after that is dripping with love, possession, and devotion. The "you're ours now" energy is STRONG, and I was here for every single second of it.

Prepare for heart-pounding romance, laugh-out-loud banter, and a love story that stays with you long after the snow has melted. Lisa Cullen has crafted a perfect holiday escape — one I’ll definitely be revisiting.

While working on the project late one night, a severe snowstorm stuck them in the office until the storm passed. The attraction that has been building up between them eventually finds an outlet.

Harrington is delighted with Clara's work and her vision for his project. But the men feel Clara pulling away from them and wonder why. Do they believe her when she gives them the reason?

Clara has fallen heavily for her bosses but is also dealing with unwanted attention from a male staff member. But when a surprise pops up, Clara has to decide where her future lies.

Alexander, Liam, and Ethan find they have fallen heavily for Clara and will do anything and everything to get her back. But they know that she is keeping something from them but what is it.

Snowed in With the Bosses is a standalone contemporary romance by Lisa Cullen. This is a secret relationship romance, that centres around a reverse-harem/poly kind of relationship. And while the book starts at Christmas, where the most steamy scenes are written, this is a book that spans over months as the relation - and three babies - develop.

This is a super spicy book - there are a significant amount of sex scenes, particularly in the beginning of the story, that are not only thrilling to read but add so much to the character development of all four MCs.

I really enjoyed the evolution of the relationship between Alexander, Liam, Ethan and Clara. They are a complicated quartet, although the set up is quite simple and elegantly executed, which is what gave the story a lot of heart to go with the steamy sex.

My goodness, this book brings the reader some intense levels of spice. The story gets off the ground quickly with interactions and development that felt natural and not awkward. My one point of contention is the timeline. She got pregnant during the Chrismas season when they were snowed in by the blizzard. Then at the Halloween party, she was barely showing, with triplets. With a multiples pregnancy, she wouldn't have been able to hide it anymore by spring and should have delivered long before Halloween. Those babies cooked for a full year. Such a fun read though.

For all the steamy, sexy scenes that I enjoyed, and the complicated relationships, Claire, Alexander, Liam, and Ethan’s bond of love, trust, and loyalty pushes this story over the top. Add in Claire’s love and care for her mother and you have a wonderful, perfect, well-written tale that will be remembered. I couldn’t ask for more, except if they were shifters, lol! I would love to see them running around with infant shifter triplets. I loved this story.

Not long after this, Clara starts receiving worrying text messages that someone has been spying on her and her bosses and threatening her. Not only does Clara have this to deal with and the stress of the project. She also has her mother trying to recover from chemotherapy, and she needs to help care for her mother along with her sister Bridget. Things get hot and steamy between Clara and her bosses. Will they be able to stay together, or will company politics get in the way?

Lisa does it again in the Christmas RH book. Clara is an architect and is invited to participate in a new prestigious project that could boost her status. However this job will be filled with temptations times three. Alexander, Liam and Ethan are sexy, well know and playboys. The character building is great and I got sucked in. Nothing good ever comes from getting snowed in. Super sexy spice and soon babies will make their family even bigger.

Quick Steamy read 📚

The book was a quick read. Very good spice. Plenty of RH action. It was missing a decent plot. I wish there was more of a intense romance. That didn't come across. I wanted the men to be more alpha male.

Good read.

The pregnancy didnt make sense. It says she found she was pregnant 🤰 in February as they were asking her what to do for valentines day. And she said she was 6 weeks pregnant so she got pregnant in December

Flash forward to Nov and she giving birth. Hmm 😒 🤔

This is a heartwarming read reverse harem read that is a touch forbidden, involves a holiday tryst between a lady and her silver haired bosses that ends with a surprise and consequences. The story is about Clara, Alexander, Liam and Ethan. It is a sexy and steamy reverse harem about a junior architect who gets an opportunity to work on a big project with her bosses. While working on the project, late one evening, they get stranded during a storm. This is a good ready with some immature moments, drama, passion and erotic steaminess.

Three to Love

Being trapped in the office during a snowstorm was unexpected, but being there with your three hot bosses leaves Clara burning up. This was a fun story with some emotional moments. The issues brought added some drama to the plot, and it was interesting how it all worked out. It was a great read.

I really wanted to like this book. But like it was almost 3 chapters of just sex at one point and don’t get me wrong because I do enjoy good raunchy sexy scenes, but it didn’t feel like it made any sense at that point to begin with. I just didn’t love this book. And I really wanted to. That being said I do like this author and her stuff for the most part so I definitely plan to keep reading her and put this one just didn’t work for me.

If you're looking for pure smut? This isn't bad.

But holy cow there is no logic. She starts sleeping with her bosses during a snowstorm around Christmas, then finds out she's pregnant in February, then at a work costume party in October she's barely showing late into a triplet pregnancy? It completely pulls you out of the story, because while fantasy is fun it only works if you do your research and write a consistent story.

Is it really too much to ask for well written smut?

Surprised the heat & steam didn’t melt the snow….

Loved the story. The relationship among the four individuals had several ups and downs, drawing the reader into the story. There were a few problems from this this reader’s perspective: insufficient information about each man’s background, the apparent acceptance of the misogyny of the company by the men, and the final living arrangements for all involved. Overall a story that will cause me to read others in the series.

I have read so many books by this author and I still haven't found one that is disappointing. I love everyone of her books the female leads are strong and the men are always hot. These were one of my favorites because of the silver foxes. Yum!.

Not only was this a mostly well rounded story the part in abundance was spice! I also enjoyed how the creep sleaze ball was handled. Some stories don't give enough closure on the 'Villains', this was done beautifully. I whole- heartedly recommend this story.

I found this book to be a fun reverse Harem. I love the fact that they love her differently but can be there for her together. That is what I feel like that makes their relationship work. All in all I enjoyed this book.

good book, but timeline was off

This was a great read with plenty of spice. The only issue is that the timeline didn’t add up. She got pregnant with triplets in December and didn’t give birth until November. At a Halloween office party, she was just barely showing. There were several things that were off about the pregnancy that my analytical brain just couldn’t look past.

Well this is a nice office romance. I liked reading this one as there is hot bosses, I mean who wouldn't want that right? It's a dream come true. The attraction between them is growing and now they are snowed in. Isn't it convenient? The guys know Clara is keeping something from them. When they find out will they be able to help? Clara deals with so much. My heart felt sorry. Nice read.

If a book has good pacing and a timeline that makes sense I can vibe with anything that happens. The pacing in this books is no Bueno, it goes from zero to 100 and back again. The timeline gets completely forgotten when she gets pregnant in December and delivers in November. Eleven months. That's not how pregnancy works. Also some of the spicy was confusing in the dynamics.
