Shellie and Matthew grew up together. She is optimistic and never turns down a chance to help. He keeps his heart closed. He's been hurt and fears being hurt again.
This was a well-written story. It's emotional but not sappy. The characters and situations seemed realistic.

I can tell from the first story, this is already a winning series! So fun and entertaining to see how the Whisper Creek Matchmakers, better known as Mrs. Cole and Mrs. Pierson, are always on the lookout for the next match in the community! And with the consistent guidance of the Father, love and romance are a sure thing. Love this author, love this book!

I liked the story. I enjoyed the matchmakers shenanigans! It's a promising first book in series!
