He may be unstoppable on the court, but does he have what it takes to win the ultimate Christmas gift?
Kamden Jones, star basketball player and Shantae’s best friend's brother, is back in town for the holidays.
Shantae Adams is not in the Christmas spirit. Things haven’t been the same since her best friend moved out of their shared space and in with her boyfriend.
That’s until a not so secret admirer is determined to get her in the Christmas spirit. Random gifts start showing up at Shante’s front door. Is it Santa’s helpers, or a certain basketball player trying to win her heart?
This is a quick read featuring a plus-size / BBW heroine, you can cuddle up with and get all the holiday feels in one evening.
Another first for me. I am always down with reading about a BBW finding love or better yet love finding her. I am rating it at a 3.5 🌟 I enjoyed the read it was short and captivating. I could use another 50 pages or more. I wanted to experience the relationship between Shantae and Kamden once they got into it. It seems like the insta-love was on an extra fast track. I will assume they live happily ever after without any hiccups.
I adored this book so much! Shantae and Kamden were just perfect, I love them so much. This was a cute Christmas novella that was paced very well and had a great story. Tae’s hesitancy and Kamden’s persistence was well done through this book and it flowed very well. The spicy was not the focus of the book and it was more faded to black than anything and it worked so well for this story. I will definitely be reading more books by Lanee!
This is a cute story! I love me some beat friends brothers trope and this was the icing on the cake. Kamden knows what he wanted and Shantae was it. He applied slight pressure to show her he was series but baby it took Shante a while to get on board. Loved how intentional he was with showing her he was interesting. Super cute.
I enjoyed this novella with its sweet, fast-paced romance, although I would have liked it to be a few chapters longer to develop the story a bit more, as the ending felt a little rushed and fell flat.
There's a wonderful tension between Kamden and Shantae from minute one and there's good banter, which makes for a fun story.
This was a cute read. The FMC was a bit annoying with the constant mentioning of him being a famous ball player, but still a cute read. Not much buildup, but it’s a short and simple read. I would recommend to try it.
I enjoyed this short, sweet Christmas novella. I was in here laughing at Kam. He was determined and broke those defenses down. Take was working my nerves for a hot minute. I was glad when she saw the light.
This is a cute holiday romance. Tae was about to get on my nerves. Luckily KAM knew how to wear her down. A good read that would have been great if it wasn't rated pg.
This story was cute and sweet. I enjoyed the dynamic between the Tae & Kam, and how thoughtful Kam was. First book I’ve read by this author and I’ll be back for more. 🥰
