If you love a Steamy Romance with a love triangle and a plot twist then All that Remains is for you .
It started a little bit slow but it was so worth it by the end. I didn’t expect to fall in love with the characters, and I didn’t expect a third-person love interest by the end of the book. But I loved every second of it. The plot twist hit me hard and I need a second book ASAP!!
Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for providing me an ARC copy of this book.
This was a wild ride if I have ever been one!! I feel like with every turn of the page, I didn’t know what was going to happen. There was so much drama and so much mess that I couldn’t get enough of it. I will say at the start it felt a little off, but then, as I kept getting into the story, I was hooked!! Then I’m not gonna spoil anything, but I could not prepare myself for the end. Like I genuinely didn’t see that coming. It was so unpredictable that I loved it. I felt like there were so many different love triangles going on that I had no idea who we were focusing on l. That added to the drama and the mess of the story and it definitely kept me on my toes. I was like should I be rooting for this person? Who do I trust? It was so much! Like I credit Charlotte for dealing with everything she did because I don’t know how I would’ve coped with this. Then all of this started because Charlotte went to a sex party with her best friend Abby because of this guy Steve, I couldn’t believe it. And then don’t forget there’s also Oliver and Chris and it’s genuinely so much to wrap your head around, but I really really enjoyed the story. It kept me guessing and it kept me engaged.
OMG… what a rollercoaster ride that was… it had me laughing, on the edge of my seat and in tears… but that ending… we need a sequel to know what happens!!!
What a whirlwind this book was! This book had me gripped and I could not put it down. The endless emotions throughout the whole book had me on the edge! The ending for me was completely bizarre and has completely thrown me off. What a book!
In an effort to be honest, I DNF'd this book before I got a quarter of the way through it. In the first couple of chapters, you have a horrible best friend who tricks her unwilling friend, the FMC Charlotte, into going to a sex party. What happens next? Eh, Charlotte decides the best thing to do when being forced to go unwillingly to a sex party is to get finger banged by her bestie's target dude, Steve. Follow that with a why the heck not moment, and Charlotte immediately going to the beach and shagging a stranger. She then goes into a tizzy when (panic!) she finds a ring in his pocket. He is married and she is so betrayed by the random stranger at the sex party. Then Charlotte and Bestie hop in a conveniently idling taxi in the residential neighborhood outside the sex house, go home, and Charlotte can't get Steve out of her head.
Really? What did I miss here? Charlotte came off as immature and unlikable. The bestie is not a great person to drag a friend to something like that without knowing first. And then you have two dudes who come off as misogynistic, creepy, emotionally abusive, and gross.
I am all for erotica and don't necessarily need a great storyline or well-developed character list. All That Remains just hit wrong for me.
This book has lovable characters, tension that practically crackles, and chemistry so intense you might want to check your pulse—so yes, there’s a lot to love here. But I’m not gonna lie… it felt longer than it needed to be. Like, luxuriate-in-every-emotional-beat long.
The romance is the kind that creeps up on you—the kind where every glance and every brush of a hand feels like a full-blown confession. And by the halfway mark? I was fully invested, ready to scream into my pillow about how badly these two needed to kiss already.
But the pacing in the first half? A bit meandering. Some scenes felt like they lingered just a little too long in the characters’ inner monologues, which slowed things down for me. I wanted the tension to build—not just simmer gently for 100 pages.
Still, by the end, I was clutching my Kindle and grinning like a fool. If you’re into romantic suspense with emotional depth, slow-burn tension, and two leads who are a little broken but trying so hard to be whole again, you’ll probably vibe with this.
Just be prepared to take the scenic route getting there.
This review contains spoilers*** I have very mixed feelings about this read. I almost DNF this several times because it was very difficult to keep track sometimes. The FMC feels immature at times. It’s why choose, and then it’s sub/dom non consent, and then it’s a harem. I struggled that there was no actual story line until the very end. It was very all over the place. I love SMUT but this felt like she was ready to screw anyone who looked at her or gave her the slightest attention. The two main MC also are super narcissistic and emotionally abusive. The last 100 pages felt like things came together a bit better, and finally when the MC wakes up from a dream, the chaos of the story makes a bit more sense as she imagined the entire setting of the book. It has the potential to be good and I enjoyed the ending but it was a bit chaotic. There are also some minor grammatical errors in this book that might have something to do with Spanish/English translation.
I don’t even know where to begin—I went in thinking I knew what was coming, and BAM... my brain got wrecked. Plot twists galore, and now I’m over here desperate for book 2!
Charlotte is a total gem: sweet, smart, independent—and carrying deep grief. Enter Abby, her wild bestie, who drags her to a party... and that’s where everything changes.
Steve? Ohhh, Steve. He falls hard for Charlotte and doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve—he’s ready to tear the world apart for her. Bonus? He’s not afraid to be vulnerable, which made me swoon even harder.
This story twisted, turned, and shattered my expectations in the best way. Completely addictive and unforgettable. You’ve been warned! ⚠️🔥
I have pretty mixed feelings about either this book… it started off strong, with Charlotte, who’s had a pretty rough time, being convinced to go to a party with her friend Abby to celebrate a new job. Only when they show up does she realise Abby has brought her to an exclusive sex party… but this is where we meet Oliver and Steve… and then the chaos.
I liked Charlotte to begin with, but the shy character we were introduced to suddenly became very immature and was ready to jump in the sack with anyone. There’s a lot of emotional abuse, a lot of jumping back and forth, and to be honest it felt a little messy. The ending was also a bit disappointing.
Okay, romance lovers, if you're ready for some serious drama and secrets, you have to check out All that Remains!
Charlotte's life takes a wild turn after her bestie drags her to an exclusive sex party where she meets Steve, who seems perfect, but then her best friend falls for him too. Awkward!
But then, a mysterious guy from that night shows up, and everything Charlotte thought she knew just explodes. Lies, betrayals, and a whole lot of questioning everything. This book was a messy, juicy ride with tons of secrets to uncover. If you love a good tangled web of romance and mystery, get ready!
4.5⭐️ This was without a doubt the most “WTF did I just read?” book I have ever read.
I don’t know what to say. It was an absolute train wreck but also addicting… but also infuriating, and completely unhinged. I hated it… but I think I also loved it….? I dunno, my brain hurts. This book was nuts. Don’t read it, or maybe do. Actually definitely do read it. Read it with a group of friends that you can discuss it with after every chapter…. While drinking wine. Definitely involve wine. If you’re reading this review and you are somebody I know personally, read it, just maybe forget that I was the one who told you about it.
This book started off extremely slow for me but towards the middle it started picking up which I loved. I was not expecting to love this book like I did Charlotte and Steve are everything I look for in a relationship… seriously. A little toxic but very emotional physically, and emotionally. I definitely ugly cried towards the ending of This book and might I say I can’t wait for book 2 😍🥹
Wow. Just wow. The ending was so sad to the point where I cried because I felt like I could feel all of Charlotte's emotions. There were so many plot twists within this book, but even with the plot twists, you could feel all of Charlotte's emotions the entire time. I would recommend this book, but at the same time, just be sure to read the content warnings prior to this book.
Arc Review: overall interesting, definitely towards the end. Basically a woman with 3 love interests. there’s a lot of characters with traumatic backgrounds. I did slow down in the middle when a pregnancy trope was brought up but then things completely spun in a different direction. The last 200 pages were intense and the ending was very unexpected.
