Drawn to the how and why of real crime stories and fascinated by the detailed police work, DNA reconstruction, and genetic genealogy, she started writing her books to share the details of these stories with her readers.
For book research, she splits her time between the USA and European destinations where she often visits some of the places where crimes have occurred.
With criminal apprehension and victim restitution as a personal cause, she donates a portion of her book sales to charities that fund DNA reconstruction to solve cold cases and charities that support the families of murdered victims.

WOW. That is my first thought the whole time I was reading these stories. WOW. It is super scary just how obsessed people can become with someone that they are infatuated with. The great lengths they will go to profess their love for that person or to make sure that no one else can have that person.
Although, the saddest factor in these stories is the authorities. Their profession is to help serve and protect people from their stalkers. Yet, in a lot of the cases showcased in this book, the authorities failed the victims and not just a little but a lot with their neglect. If the authorities had taken the reports seriously, they could have saved some of the victims. I say some because the stalkers were very determined individuals.
Add this book to your TBR shelf if you are a true crime fan. It is a one seat read!
This is another deeply disturbing collection of true crime stories. This volume is about obsessive stalkers who eventually killed their prey. Unfortunately, most of these women tried to get help from local law enforcement, only to be told that there was nothing that could be done. The authors have done a good job in presenting the facts of these cases, complete with the punishments meted out to the perpetrators. The ones who were supposed to help (but didn't) were also named and hopefully, the resultant changes to the "system" might bring some peace to the victims families.
If you are a fan of true crime, you can't go wrong with this collection or any of the others by these authors. Each case is a short read that will bring emotion to the reader as the victims are given a final word.
Another great addition to the Curated True Crime Series. I knew nothing of any of the cases featured in this volume. Audio is same as always. I’m getting used to his voice now, so I can’t imagine anyone else narrating these now.
The case in this one that I found most interesting was the one where police had 2 suspects they were investigating as possible perpetrators, but it turned out the stalker was actually someone completely different. That one was like a thriller movie! I did not see that outcome.
All if the cases were interesting and held my attention enough to easily finish the book in a day. I highly recommend any of Jamie Malton’s books to fans of the true crime genre. This one is a top five favorite for me. 5 stars.
The evil stalkers in this book were relentless in their pursuit of their victims. Court orders couldn't stop them. Some of the stalkers killed and hurt others who were in their path at the time of their pursuit of the victims. They ended up dying a horrible, fear filled death. The few survivors suffered terrible fears and nightmares. These true stories about relentless, evil stalkers are chilling to read. Most of the people they pursued ended up dead. Reading each account, I really felt for the victims, I wanted to reach out and protect them. I could not put this book down, and look forward to reading more curated true crime tales.
Curated True Crime #12: Deadly Stalkers: Murder, Madness & Mayhem (Curated True Crime, Volume 12), my second read from authors Jamie Malton & Aiden Galway. A 3-hour 56-minute/151-page serial killer true crime audiobook. “I received a complementary Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with True Crime Murder & Mayhem already on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
I have read several books in this series and this volume did not disappoint. Malton presents several true crime stories that follow a theme; in this particular book, it’s about stalkers. Each chapter is a concise, yet detailed telling of different crimes. It’s a quick and easy read that grabs you from the start and makes it difficult to put down. If you are a true crime reader, I highly recommend this book (and series).
This was a look into crime cases that went from stalking to murder and in a few cases, attempted murder. The crimes occurred during different times and at different locations around the world. This book might leave readers feeling a bit paranoid and cautious as to whom they date or marry. I highly recommend this book to other true crime readers. I received an ARC of this book, and the opinion expressed is strictly my own.
This book looks at people who have been the victims of stalkers from around the world. Some are the Product of relationships, and some from unrequited love. Some survive and some don't, and one has a celebrity link.
Alternate title’ Why Are Men So Misogynistic / Entitled / Hateful?......any and all of these would absolutely work for the collection of crimes shared in this anthology.
